I did the following to get it running. It was a bit of trial and error, so not everything may be necessary.

1  sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev

3  sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler
4  sudo apt-get install libqrencode-dev

7  sudo apt-get install -y libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev

sometime ago the user rossen compiled machinecoin version 0.13.1.1 for ubuntu 16.04. The results are still available at:

I appreciate the effort, but is there a chance to get a manual for compiling machinecoin for ubuntu or raspberry pi? I tried it by myself, but I always get stuck at some point. I followed the directions in:

but no success.

Windows defender says: Trojan:Win32/Fuery.A!cl
and takes it into quarantine.

Is that a bug of defender, or is that a real threat?

I cannot sync my wallets. They are version "Machinecoin Core Version v0.10.2.3-432b947 (64-Bit)".

Even when there are connections to the network, it does not sync. Can yo help me? I want to trade some of my MAC, but this way no chance to do that.

Just type "setgenerate true" into the console. By typing "getmininginfo" you get your hashrate.

BTW, it just stucks every couple of days. No blocks are generated.

I had the new client (0.10) running for an hour on an i7 win10 and direct connection to the internet (wired to a backbone). Setgenerate true gave me some blocks. On monday I will check if these blocks matured.

Oh, I just saw by using "getmininginfo" that there are 665 khs on the network.  So CPU mining on an I3 or I7 makes no sense.

No, I did not try the pool. But tomorrow or wednesday I will test that (solomining) on an I7 with the very best internet connection possible.

I solomined about 4000 MAC today (CPU, i3), but they are all rejected. Same thing yesterday...

ich hätte da mal eine Frage wegen der Zinsen. Wie im Screenshot unten zu sehen, werden fast alle meine Zinsen mit einem Fragezeichen und dem Hinweis "generiert und nicht angenommen" versehen. Woran könnte das liegen?

Selbes Problem hier. Von 20 POS Transaktionen werden vlt. 1-2 angenommen. Ist das bei allen POS Coins so?

nein, das ist ein Problem der (alten) eMark. es findet kein Zeitabgleich mit irgendeinem Zeitserver statt. Und die eMark hat einen Timedrift von +/- 2 Stunden einprogramiert. Da könnt Ihr Euch vorstellen was das für die Blockzeit bedeutet.... Man könnte es ändern. Der Blackcoin hat es auch gemacht....

Wenn es nur ein Problem der alten eMark ist, reicht es dann, alle Coins an sich selbst zu schicken?

nee, so einfach ist das nicht. Die eMark hat ein fest einprogrammiertes Protokoll. Und das kann man nicht ändern. (außer bei einem Hardfork, wo alle Benutzer auf die neue Version updaten müssen)
Da steht drin, daß die eMark einen Timedrift von +/- 2 Stunden zulässt. Das mag beim Bitcoin mit 10 min Blocktime größtenteils funktionieren, da die Blöcke da nicht (im schlechtesten Fall) im Sekundentakt kommen und alle Netzwertkteilnehmer alle Blöcke und deren Zeit kennen. Sollten aber mehrere Blöcke schnell hintereinander kommen, was beim POS nicht selten ist, und die Clienten kommen nicht hinterher und die Blockzeiten stimmen nicht werden die eben zu ophan Blöcken.
Wenn alle Netzwerkteilnehmer die selbe Internetzeit hätten gäbe es auch nicht so viele Ophans.
Also bester Rat ist die Zeiteinstellung des Computers immer syncronisieren oder eine neue version mit Timecheck und 10s Timedrift programieren und  Hardfork machen.
