341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MARKET IS RED AGAIN on: August 18, 2018, 01:48:33 PM
There's always a 50% Green and 50% Red in the market not only an individual cryprocurrency. If Bitcoin's price is low then sometime Ethereum's price is high. That's why I call it 50-50 because all price of cryptocurrency are not stable. It's normal when market gets red don't be curious of it.
342  Other / Meta / Re: Merit? This got to be a joke. on: August 18, 2018, 01:23:39 PM
Complaining merit will not make you earn merit Grin We should accept the reality that merit will never be gone because on the start of this year merit started. The first 120th days of merit activity has gone. Merit system is the way why we are seeing post with good construction or a meaningful one that's why you need to stop complaining that merit isn't working.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: August 17, 2018, 03:38:47 AM
I would say hackers are everywhere and they can not stop running the crypto currencies because they know very it's anonymous nature is leading factor for them. They kind of get extra layer of protection. Anyway with some research they can be caught.

About the precautions . .

1. You should store your tokens and/or coins in the wallet for which you hold the private keys.
2. Obviously store these private keys in safe place and I would suggest that you should save them in the offline password manager.
3. Never ever go to link of your wallet from different websites, chats etc. Always bookmark your wallet website link.
4. Using the hardware wallet is advisable but looking at the cost you may prefer focusing on the first three points.
5. Storing the tokens on exchanger is worst idea. Hence follow the rules 1, 2 & 3.
5. Do not use public internet and I am pretty sure if you access wallets like that then you will loose your money.

That's all I know and I follow.
Hackers are always searching or making new ways just to hack. It will be much better if we are browsing the net anonymously to avoid being tracked by hackers.  Avoid also clicking PHISHING SITES because when you put your credentials it will easily be hacked.  This thread will become useful when it comes to avoid scam/hacking cryptocurrency. “Our decentralized blockchain-based platform will disrupt the landscape of cryptocurrency investment while building a trustless network of pseudonymous users that leverage swarm intelligence technology to provide real world financial services in a tokenized ecosystem.”

Ha! Brilliant thank you!
Thanks for the appreciation of the thread/post. I will make it more informative to become more useful.

345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security on: August 16, 2018, 07:53:19 AM
Bitcoin is a semi-anonymous currency, Bitcoin address owners are not explicitly defined but transactions are public.
I think your not referring the bitcoin wallet address but you are referring the Private Key. Bitcoin wallet is really secured if you are holding your private key. Sometimes their are people who are scary to hold their private key because they're afraid to loss it. Securit is important to us especially to those who are hodling big amounts of bitcoin. I will likely to recommend 2FA Authy or Google Authenticator if we are holding mobile wallets.

This kind of users you want to have own ranks? Rank specialization? They don't have any contribution in here.
In behalf this will easily determine if a user is a bounty hunter or not due to its rank tagged with the user.

It will only be useful if Bounty Member rank is a paid membership  like what's copper member made for.

348  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 11, 2018, 08:47:33 AM
I spent time in bitcoin because it's more likely working with a job nor part time job. Every bitcoiner should spend more time on it because they will loss any great opportunity to get more profit. We need to spend more time on bitcoin because this the reason why we are still here on the forum.

353  Other / Meta / Re: Will the merit system be removed by BTT in future? on: July 04, 2018, 01:46:30 PM
This is a very wrong decision if merit will be removed. I used merit to become my inspiration to become a good quality poster to contribute something good here in forum.  Their are lots of merit farming but it's more violent on MASS MERIT FARMING like sending 50 merits to a shitposts. This will never be remove because it's more than 120 days of the existence of merit that make a lot of people to be encouraged to make good quality posts in order to rank up amd to LEARN.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will not perish on: July 04, 2018, 11:37:26 AM
Yes bitcoin will not perish even it's price is still bearish. It continues to fall (likely)  but not all time. It will never be perished because this is really useful to everyone of us here in crypto world. It kinda hopeless when it's price continusly to fall but this is not the so called perish it's not even suffering.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if another cryptocurrency took Bitcoins place in Market Cap? on: July 04, 2018, 10:44:37 AM
Competitions of cryptocurrency will occur if that happens. I think some of holders of bitcoin will swift into the new top coin. This will be the best part of being a crypto user that bitcoin bitcoin will have a contender. The contender that will fight bitcoin along as it's record down.
356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: July 04, 2018, 10:37:47 AM
I don't think so, not anytime soon.
Bitcoin already reach its goal but bitcoin has a lot of goals especially to traders. Bitcoin become useful for everyone. Its being used a financial support. The goal it self was supporting bitcoin in order to achieve it.
357  Other / Meta / Re: System error in double Merit submissions on: July 03, 2018, 09:44:48 AM
I already experienced this one on the past day. I don't know why but the only reason I think I reload the after sending merit.
I got this here.

July 01, 2018, 04:05:58 AM: 1 to lablab03 for Re: ALTCOINS going green!
I don't know if this a bug or normal because ever since I got sMerit after sending merit the page won't ask to reload again which I did on the past day.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: July 03, 2018, 08:47:53 AM
I think there is only a few non crypto investments because mostly the who invests knows crypto and we or they love to use it. Investing in cryptocurrency has a bigger profit than on a fiat money.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: July 03, 2018, 07:18:23 AM
Yes it can be hacked because hackers always find new ways to hack. We are required to 2FA  to avoid wallet being hacked. I will prefer to use hardware wallets like trezor to have a better experiences on using wallets. Don't use web wallets.
360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will hit $250,000 in 2022? on: July 03, 2018, 05:04:19 AM
It's very high or it's not probably happen. I think this year it will only reach $30,000 or below but on 2022 I think it will reach $100000. Due to being unstable of bitcoin price makes us to have a big hope when we used our predictions to get bigger benefits if it's come true.
