This is very interesting but why the hell are you doing a token that is NOT ERC20?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problems cryptocurrency will face in the near future? on: October 10, 2018, 02:53:10 PM
Specifically in the next 5 years, what do you think will be the greatest challenge or problem that the crypto market will face, and how do you think the market will overcome this problem? I also wonder if AI can help crypto trading safer and free from hacking and scamming?

Adoption is the biggest issue in my opinion. It might not get adopted worldwide especially in developing countries. Another problem that I can think of is cyber attack.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India closes doors for Crypto Currency on: August 18, 2018, 05:53:30 AM
India does not close the door to cryptocurrency, but simply recognizes it as a commodity. As with any product, the cryptocurrency is subject to taxes. It's just the desire of the state to regulate cash flow.

Yes, you are right, bitcoin is still legal in India. Currently, the government tried to limit people from investing by stopping banks to deal with crypto exchanges in India. In some exchanges, there are some other alternatives available now. You can also use LBC to sell bitcoin currently.
4  Other / Meta / Re: Lets talk Bitcointalk on: July 25, 2018, 01:04:09 PM
If recovery isn't a priority then why waste users time and forum thread space making a shitty post asking users to PM staff only to not hear from them after months later as seen in many posts throughout META? Again seems lazy and inefficient, I understand that admins have duties and possibly lack manpower but to put their users account security last or just completely disregard it, is unacceptable.

It is mentioned in the same thread that you will have to wait for recovery.

If you think that this is unacceptable for you, do not submit the request and keep yourself engaged at other places which you think are more appropriate for you.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can bounty campaign be replaced by other marketing methods? on: July 25, 2018, 01:00:09 PM
Of course it is possible. I have seen the some projects have started to use sites other than bitcointalk like steemit. For instance, byteball has started a campaign on steemit rewarding all users which is getting very popular.

If you mean promotion without bounties, the product has to be exceptional for this. Another option is you can make it exclusive with some referral system.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook reverses ban on cryptocurrency ads on: July 20, 2018, 06:10:26 PM
Because there is a chance of buying Coinbase. He is entering this market. Soon Facebook will advertise crypto money for itself.

There are a lot of confusing threads in relation to this.

Some threads also mention that they are planning to launch their own coin and if this is true, why will they allow advertisement of competing coins. If the new mentioned in this thread is really true, I do not think that they are going to launch their coin any time soon.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple Tips Keeping Your Bitcoin from Hackers. on: July 20, 2018, 06:08:36 PM
Most important thing to use a  reputed exchange which is serious with security. There are some parameters to judge that :

1) Look that the exchange that you are using has some bounty program for finding bugs. The program should be old and should be paying decent money for finding bugs. This will ensure that users do not get targeted because of lack of security on exchange.

2) Give very much importance to the team behind the exchange.
8  Other / Meta / Re: My account kateryana81 was banned for no reason ? on: July 20, 2018, 07:40:17 AM
No account is banned without reason here. Move on.
9  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: July 20, 2018, 07:38:50 AM
Why is it now so hard to get merit, still hoping to get merit someday because I work so hard in my posting..hoping to get merit ...

Admins help me to get merit....

Looking at your past posts, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2179076;sa=showPosts I am forced to say that you should try harder.

Try to be more active in meta section (and answering questions asked by other members) .
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 countries that banned bitcoin on: July 20, 2018, 07:30:39 AM
Countries that have banned Bitcoin will lift the ban in the near future, is just a matter of time. This year January Facebook ban adds on ICO and Bitcoin related activities and as we speak such ban have been lifted. Same will happen to all the countries that currently banned bitcoin including China and Indian

Indian has yet not banned bitcoins completely.

The matter is in court and the next hearing is on 11th August 2018. There are leaked news that government might be considering making it legal completely with some conditions. One such report mentioned that it will be treated as commodities. From what I hear, there are more chances of it getting legal in India.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: High quality posts? on: July 20, 2018, 06:51:38 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats

There are options like you can see recent merited posts, top merited all times and most generous merit senders. Give it some time and you will get the idea for high quality posts.

As mentioned above, you need to improve English. Don't be discouraged by it, one can always improve.
12  Other / Meta / Re: How To Get In Touch With The Owner? on: July 20, 2018, 06:47:36 AM
I have a proposal, a serious and simple one for the owner.

What is the best way to get in touch with him/them?

Thank you!

You can start with a pm if it is something important related to forum.

If you have issues like want to report posts or members, there are already tools integrated on the forum for that. To get best suggestion, you should add details regarding what proposal you have.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: What factors make Bitcoin rise again? on: July 19, 2018, 03:23:34 PM
More buyers. Bitcoin price goes up.

More sellers. Bitcoin price falls.

Op is asking more regarding why more buyers thus increasing price.

The recent increase is mainly because of Goldman Sachs declaring that they may enter into crypto soon. It means billions will be invested into crypto market.
14  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestions to improve bitcointalk.org on: July 19, 2018, 03:14:04 PM
There are some serious issues with signature campaigns.

I was seeing a campaign where the manager removed certain rank from 3rd week without making any announcement. So those members kept making posts and they were not paid for this. So, there are always people trying different loopholes to cheat members. Such projects should look into this but I do not think that it even goes to them as they have outsourced it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] Prandex International Exchange on: July 19, 2018, 03:03:36 PM
This is not the right place to post this as you are not paying in BTC. Ask  a mod to move this.
16  Other / Meta / Re: Friends just hacked account in BT on: July 19, 2018, 11:35:57 AM
You can ask your friend to get the account locked by clicking  the email sent to his original email on change of email. Then he can get it unlocked by contacting a mod. Compare which route will take less time.
17  Other / Meta / Re: Global Moderators fired? on: July 19, 2018, 11:33:00 AM
Should we not find a new mods first before removing inactive mods? Any update of to whom the spots were moved? I expect that there is already one who filled the position I am just not sure tho if that mod was newly appointed

If this is a voluntarily position, how can you ensure that you are informed of their intentions in advance. I am not aware of what happens here but there shouldn't be a "notice period" to serve. Smiley
18  Other / Meta / Re: Will the merit system be removed by BTT in future? on: July 19, 2018, 11:17:20 AM
I do not think it should be removed. What will we have in meta section then ?
19  Other / Meta / Re: I think the Chinese manager is not fair ,he should be down on: July 19, 2018, 11:12:27 AM
You accept using multiple profiles in campaigns which is a forum rule violation. I do not think you are allowed a new account now but I am not sure about this.

And using general words like Chinese and Russian also does not give a good impression.
20  Other / Meta / Re: Disable signatures/bounties til a user reaches full member status. on: July 19, 2018, 10:57:37 AM
Op, you should do a minor correction in title, it should be till and not til.

Coming back to your suggestion, I am in support of  this. But it should be disabled for members who failed to earn any merit or sufficient merits. Obviously admin could not start that initially because we need members in different ranks to let the forum function properly.
