The blockchain – upon which Bitcoin is based – has been the center of heated discussion in recent months. The blockchain is a means of sending digital messages between parties whose purported history can be trusted.
Bitcoin 2.0 companies and the “promises” of the blockchain have become a recurring theme in the Bitcoin space. Some have discussed how “the greatest potential for Bitcoin may reside in its underlying technology rather than as a currency.” In 2015, talk shift from Bitcoin to the Blockchain, of that there can be no doubt.https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-2-0-fantasy-or-inevitability/

Are Presidential Candidates Clueless about Bitcoin and the New Economy? The world economy is undergoing one of the biggest transformations ever. This transformation is being driven by the Internet of Things and new disruptive technologies, such as Bitcoin and its underlying blockchain technology. The impact of this change will be all encompassing and dramatic, affecting governance, businesses, and even our way of life. However, candidates in the race for their party’s 2016 presidential nomination do not seem to grasp the immensity of these changes. Most candidates have so far omitted to mention in their respective economic platforms anything related to this formidable economic revolution.https://news.bitcoin.com/presidential-candidates-clueless-bitcoin-new-economy/

If it has not, it is cracking, and it will break. It is inevitable.White People will simply have to fight for what is theirs and their place in the world, because our leaders have been stupid, as usual. Or, were they stupid? Probably, more like, evil, greedy, bastards, hoping to make even more money from the chaos and war they create

Bitcoin / Press / [2016-01-29]How Blockchain Ledger Technology Is Coming of Age
|

Most people know alternative currencies such as bitcoin make use of a distributed transaction ledger technology called blockchain. But what isn’t well-known is how numerous businesses are investing heavily in blockchains for noncurrency applications. Blockchain Technology Poised to Grow Last month, the Linux Foundation announced a major new initiative called Hyperledger, which will create one of the largest open-source projects ever attempted. The goal is to build blockchains with a series of standard protocols and processes that could be used by a wide variety of industries both in and outside of the financial services sector, including manufacturing. The first set of computing partners includes IBM, Intel, VMware and Cisco, among dozens of other companies. https://securityintelligence.com/how-blockchain-ledger-technology-is-coming-of-age/

Bitcoin / Press / [2016-01-29]The Results of the NH Bitcoin Tax Bill are in….

Last year a New Hampshire State Representative put forward a bill that would allow individuals to pay taxes in bitcoin. The results have just come in. Last year, a New Hampshire State Representative called Eric Schleien introduced a bill that proposed the introduction of a new method of paying taxes in New Hampshire – bitcoin. If passed, the bill would force the state treasurer in NH to, and to quote directly, “develop an implementation plan for the state to accept bitcoin as payment for taxes and fees”. Further, the system (if the bill passed) would need to be in place by 2017 tax collection season. At the time of its introduction bill HR552, as it’s more affectionately known, had bipartisan support from two democratic sponsors and five republican sponsors. http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/01/29/the-results-of-the-nh-bitcoin-tax-bill-are-in/

Brave is a new open-source Internet browser being developed under the Mozilla license. The Project development is handled by Brave Inc., led by JavaScript creator and former Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich. Their Stated aim is to “fix the internet,” and they take several departures from traditional browsers, including universal ad-block by default, forcing https and other security measures out of the box, decentralized Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) account management, and most intriguingly, an integrated bitcoin wallet and payment processing system. http://bitcoinist.net/brave-web-browser-early-look-faster-firefox-bitcoin-integration/
