Is it possible to monitor ehtminer directly and get the json from it? Port is setup in gui to 4050 but can't get any response there. I know it worked with sgminer.

Yes, 1.6.1 now runs and properly benchmarks and manages DggerHashimoto, but it does not report on its operating page what that GPU is doing. It does, however, report that GPU's performance to NiceHash.

What do you mean by that? Maybe a screenshot or any other details is needed to understand better your problem.

Thanks.

Screenshot has been sent to you via e-mail. I have no idea how to provide it as part of a message on this forum.

Well, maybe with edit I can do it. How's this?

http://www.msgroup.org/forums/mtt/images/nhm161.jpg

You will see that the GTX 970 is shown as producing 0.000 H/s without a script identified and yet the total Global rate is in excess of 3 mBTC/Day, so obviously it is performing (and NiceHash was receiving its production), but Dagger-Hashimoto is not shown on my site other than in a separate window.

I believe that if Dagger-Hashimotois the first script chosen by the program to work, then it shows properly in the window, but after the program selects any other script, when it again chooses Dagger-Hashimoto the detail is then lost from then on.

Is that clear enough?

I agree with you.. But now mining of bitcoin so difficulty and costing much electricity...
I think ETH will be good mining instead of BTC with antiminer s9 14th/s...

Hi, I have some feedback to share.

I like the easiness of simply adding a pool to the conf/bat files from the miner's side. But as a renter, I found the method and calculations to be quite a deterrent. I cannot simply look at a list of rig speeds and and choose a speed and duration to rent, for example a 7MH/s for 6 hours. The only option I have is to input that  I want to spend this many BTC from the wallet, a BTC/GH/Day that is useless to me (without something to compare it with) and a calculated total number of hashes. What about the time/duration.

If a new coin is released, Ideally I would like to rent 20MH/s for 6 hours than 2.5MH/s for two days. I haven't gone ahead and ordered anything, so I'm not sure if there is an option to chose a time period after placing the order. If there is, there needs to be clear instructions on what exactly I am receiving for the BTC I'm paying.

Betarigs and leaserigs works because as a customer Its pretty self explanatory.... each rig is listed with a price and the speed, and the price you pay goes higher as the rental duration increases. Once you have the duration set, a confirmation page telling you the final cost is displayed to accept or reject. The total number of hashes I purchased is a good reference to go by I'f im trading hashes (like cex.io). Otherwise XXX MH/s is pretty much an universal standard of units for GPU mining.

yes bitcoin cant be profitable anymore the first time i did use nicehash using only my laptop at least i earn 5mBtc a week 24/7 now i only earn app 3 or less mBtc so i decided to stop. can't find any profitable coin for my laptop anymore, is this eth can be still mined using a laptop mate? just curios thanks.

Hello,

I am having the same problem. No report in app, but it is working OK. Hicehash.com is reporting ok.

I'm using the latest NiceHashMiner v1.6.1.0 and after about 5-10 minutes the miner restarts then does that constantly every 2-5 minutes on all algorithms.

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate
GPU: 1x AMD 280x
AMD Driver: 15.20.1062.1003

I have watched the temp and it doesn't get above 80 Degrees Celcius & even restarts at a lower temp, fan speed also seems alright averaging around 3000RPM.

I know it says use the latest drivers so could that be the case ?

Will I also lose my optimum efficiency for other algorithm setups if I update AMD Drivers ? As I also see that the increase in hashrate for other algorithms is only through NiceHashMiner sgminer all-in-one fork.

Is there a separate sgminer with the same increase in hashrate that I can mine to my own selected pools & solo mine with or do I need a .bin & .bat layout ?

Hello,

Another bug this morning! Lyra2v2 and daggerhashimoto are mining at the same time. NiceHash miner 1.6.1.0 is not reporting anything, but on nicehash.com I am seeing both them mining. I will try to disable lyra2v2 and see if the problem with NiceHash miner not reporting anything will disappear.

Hi everybody!  Plz help me with info of mining speed using NH Miner 1.6 on Gigabyte R9 280x , Dagger Hashimoto algo. Net tells that it can run on 21-24 MH/s , but I am getting only 18.2 Mh/s max. ( tried different clocks : 950-1195 Mhz core , 1350-1600 Mhz memory). May be its really max for my card ?

18 MHs is realistic for this GPU at this moment. Please note that while DAG file is increasing, AMD GPUs are slower on Dagger-Hashimoto, therefore benchmarking results from the past are not relevant anymore. We've just updated the official speed reporting for various GPUs in our Profitability calculator, see here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=calc

Thank you. Now I see DaggerHashimoto algo speed of my card in that table. Its coincides my actual speed, and now I understand that time ago then DAG file was 1Gb large, 24 MH/s could be reached. Now its only 18 MH/s and will be less.

Yet ANOTHER release of the NH Miner software.

Bravo on the lack of testing before each version release !!

Looking forward to another wasted few hours of mining due to forced re-benchmarking  Angry

WORD !

... not even 2 tell about the up 2 50% losses in the latest minor digit !

@NiceHash - looks like a "fooling work" 4 the latest Participiantans !

Please improve your beta-Testing (call me if you can´t do it) - BUT keep CRAP away from US !

Tongue PanneKopp (if you don´t like smooth debugging, you´ll recieve the appropriate answer) !

... please make an educated guess !

Have a running 64 bit Windows system (connected to the Internet) with an installed GPU that has AT LEAST 2 gig of memory. (NVIDIA or AMD)
Have a bitcoin wallet address.
Download NiceHashMiner and install it.
Run the miner software and enter the bitcoin wallet address, then run benchmarks.
Then simply click on 'Start'.

My graphics card (NVIDIA or AMD) do not.
Is there another way to invest in the site?

Please take a look at the Getting started page: https://www.nicehash.com/?p=gstarted

Unlike traditional, often failed investment based cloud mining services, NiceHash provides purely technological advanced cloud mining experience. As a buyer you can put quick orders and rent massive amount of hashing power, point it to a pool of your choice and mine Bitcoins or any other altcoins such as Litecoin, Dash and other emerging digital currencies. By taking advantage of variable coins mining difficulty and smart trading you can make great profits with hashing power, rented through NiceHash service.

Your're also welcome to watch the Getting Started video here: https://www.nicehash.com/?p=gstarted#buyer
