Scammers need not go that extent before they can do the wreck. Let them just hack a top exchange and steal huge funds- that will wreck IEO rep. You see, that is the huge loop hole left with the recent IEO hype. More decentralized security solutions should be looked into for these exchanges if IEOs will really work

To get on with price speculation may be toxic IMO. Come to think of it who ever wants a price dunk. But personally, i think the use cases of the blockchain should be more pronounced, in the long run it will definitely affect the price

The opinion was that, what if the exchange was hacked? And IEO kind of make it centralized. Which i reasoned with. I also have the thought that if IEOs goes mainstream then, all opinions will be from the exchange in question.

But the bottom line is that IEOs have its merits and the demerits

Their hurdle that I'm seeing here is how to get users on board.
Their objectives are great but to get an audience is another thing.
But everyone starts from somewhere.
If they can prove the usability of their platform to many others, this will go somewhere...
