Got an email from Mintpal saying they have suspended FLT deposits until they have someone check it out. Would be nice to get some kind of official word / fix from Thekidcoin so we can start to get this fixed asap.

Ok - so whats going on? I actually came here to ask why our fluttercoind is pretty much sitting at 80% CPU usage, with gen=0 and 87662 blocks - but then I see that it may be forked on a lot of different chains?
Is the CPU usage related? I'm tempted to kill the wallet, it's using about 25% of the entire CPU power for the wallet server it's on, making all the other coins slow as heck.
Can someone link to a summary of what exactly the issue is? A quick scroll through of the last 2 pages, I didnt see anything with more details than "boke".
It forked back on friday I believe. We may have fixed it but we are all waiting on Thekidcoin to come here and confirm that the block explorer is indeed on the correct chain. Without knowing exactly what chain is correct, we can't really do much more.

Finally synced to the official block explorer thanks to ofeefee . I have sent a test 300 FLT to mintpal a few mins ago but still not showing anything. I think they may be on the wrong fork which would suck. I was doing a little trading on there the past couple of days.

That would be awesome if you can provide a fix but like you said, we need some kind of verification from Kid to make sure we are even on the right chain. I wish he would just do away with PoW all together and everyone would then have to use the multipool if they want to mine.

Still no word from Thekidcoin other than the tweet he made about anonymous progress yesterday? We all appreciate the work on that but this fix needs to come like now. This is going on day 4 now of not being able to send coins to a exchange to trade and keep the volume moving for FLT. After he tweeted that yesterday I replied to the tweet telling him to come to the forums about the forking trouble so either he hasn't been on twitter since or he is just ignoring it? Other than twitter and on here / FLTforum there's really no other way of getting in contact with him. That's the bad thing about only one dev is when trouble like this happens, it would be nice to have someone else step in and fix the problem. If I knew how I would but that's way beyond anything I know. Do we even know if the official block explorer is on the right chain? Without confirmation from him, that could be on the wrong chain also and then everything we are doing would be pointless. I hope we hear something by the end of today.
From the OP Developer: thekidcoin@gmail.comSent him another tweet about an hour ago so he should see it.

Using ofeefee .conf file, I was finally able to reload my wallet all the way after it locking up 2 times. Current block the wallet shows is block 87489. Offical block crawler is on 86944. I have 79,000 FLT all orphaned PoS, wtf. You need to have connect statements, and you need to delete your blockchain and redownload the chain. Need to still check my peers, will get a new list of what I have that matches explorer. Kid must be going to release the cloak wallet with the fix all at once. To those with problems, when its corrected you can re download and it will restore missing items and pos can happen again. What you mean connect statements? I have deleted all files and reloaded the whole chain like 3 times now, this is my .conf file. rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 noirc=1 listen=1 dnsseed=1 server=1 addnode=54.203.244.170 addnode=54.203.244.27 addnode=54.199.237.235 addnode=98.220.203.77 addnode=76.177.91.53 addnode=91.123.91.65 addnode=95.221.16.69 addnode=71.61.60.138 addnode=188.165.3.223 addnode=89.190.253.27 addnode=83.86.92.116 addnode=192.99.159.64 addnode=69.59.38.87 addnode=173.175.130.35 addnode=71.200.192.224 addnode=209.124.227.24 addnode=78.20.226.228 addnode=101.78.254.170 addnode=173.175.130.35 addnode=209.124.227.24 addnode=70.70.239.50 addnode=107.170.172.93 addnode=66.11.162.228 addnode=192.99.13.127 addnode=192.3.177.246 addnode=122.108.198.199 addnode=65.6.105.7 This is what I had before in my .conf rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 noirc=1 listen=1 dnsseed=1 server=1 addnode=54.203.244.170 addnode=54.203.244.27 addnode=54.199.237.235 connect=54.203.244.170 connect=54.203.244.27 connect=54.199.237.235 connect=98.220.203.77 connect=76.177.91.53 connect=91.123.91.65 connect=95.221.16.69 connect=71.61.60.138 connect=188.165.3.223 connect=89.190.253.27 connect=83.86.92.116 connect=192.99.159.64 connect=69.59.38.87 connect=173.175.130.35 connect=71.200.192.224 connect=209.124.227.24 connect=70.113.15.89 connect=78.20.226.228 connect=101.78.254.170 connect=173.175.130.35 connect=209.124.227.24 I couldn't load the whole chain at all like that b/c it keeps locking up my wallet when it gets to around last weekend time frame.

i'm using the following in fluttercoin.conf, I have 9 connections, need more valid nodes if someone has them. This keeps my client from locking/crashing with the wrong blockchain clients trying to keep jumping into my peers. connect=54.203.244.170 connect=54.203.244.27 connect=54.199.237.235 connect=98.220.203.77 connect=76.177.91.53 connect=91.123.91.65 connect=95.221.16.69 connect=71.61.60.138 connect=188.165.3.223 connect=89.190.253.27 connect=83.86.92.116 connect=192.99.159.64 connect=69.59.38.87 connect=173.175.130.35 connect=71.200.192.224 connect=209.124.227.24 connect=70.113.15.89connect=78.20.226.228 connect=101.78.254.170 connect=173.175.130.35 connect=209.124.227.24 EDIT: new ones i'm finding, 12:05am 6/23/2014 connect=70.70.239.50 connect=107.170.172.93 connect=66.11.162.228 connect=192.99.13.127 connect=192.3.177.246 connect=122.108.198.199 not sure if you can connect to my peer when it's in this "connect" version, but can try. If you are on the right chain you could post your IP address so we can build out some nodes until we get an official fix. connect=65.6.105.7 Edit: confirmed these nodes are on the same chain as explorer, and bittrex.com/status, i moved 2k to bittrex it made it, also combined some blocks, explorer shows them. and PoT on my transfer to bittrex, BOOM! 2448c89cf45cf0ea05d8d528a690c5c24d8bcc8be0259afecdae5522a51dd6da I've tried these in my config and still can't even load my wallet. I would refrain from sending any money anywhere until we have heard from Thekidcoin on whats going on and how to fix this problem. Checking...I had my wallet online last night, all nodes I was connected match explorer. How exactly do we enter these into the .conf file? Do we just add that entire list underneath the addnode=54.203.244.170 addnode=54.203.244.27 addnode=54.199.237.235 so it will look like addnode=54.203.244.170 addnode=54.203.244.27 addnode=54.199.237.235 connect=54.203.244.170 connect=54.203.244.27 connect=54.199.237.235 connect=98.220.203.77 connect=76.177.91.53 connect=91.123.91.65 connect=95.221.16.69 connect=71.61.60.138 connect=188.165.3.223 etc.etc.etc Like that? Or do we change the connect= to addnode= ?

Just got home today and seen the coin is still messed up? Has anyone heard from thekidcoin about anything? I cant even load my wallet anymore. Ive tried deleting 3 times now and every time it gets stuck and causes my computer to lock up. I tried the .conf from the first post. I even tried no .conf and still cant load the whole chain. Last I saw fri night was the hashrate was at like 500k. Is it asics screwing it up? We should just get rid of PoW all together if so.

Ya my wallet got stuck again after reloading so I shut mine down to. Somethings up. We will just have to wait to see what Thekidcoin says. Maybe someone forking again with a lot hash?

Ok, we all may as well just ignore him b/c he will never stop whining about the price so lets just ignore him from here on out.
Back to the topic
Has anyone gotten PoS today? My wallet is synced but this morning I was showing stakeing in 2 hours, just checked now and haven't received PoS at all and it is still showing 2 hours. When I woke up this moning my wallet was stuck on some block so I had to delete everything and load it again. Not sure if its just my wallet or is anyone else having problem with staking today? Also yesterday and Wednesday my only 2 PoS were orphaned. Anyone else have any orphaned PoS from a day or two ago?

Great post, everyone should def check it out.

Hi, is there something wrong with the blockchain or network? my wallet has stuck at 84670..
Someone jumped on with a large hashrate and caused a fork. No big deal, just re-download your blockchain. Is everything ok? The past 2 days now my PoS have all been orphaned. I have deleted everything and my wallet is synced up currently at block, 85254. One was 1500 flt which sucks if I lose that.

Below you can find CoinPayments' reply Hi Coaex Founder,
Fluttercoin is alive and well not sure what you mean Okay, I think it was a temporary glitch but does anyone have a screenshot of CoinPayments' accepted coin list for yesterday? As some of you know, Fluttercoin had gone out of the list for a couple of hours. It seems CoinPayments' customer services haven't noticed anything. If you don't have a screenshot, could anyone who witnessed the issue, confirm that Fluttercoin had been gone out of the CoinPayments' list yesterday? I'm asking this both for the sake of Fluttercoin and CoinPayments. One more thing for CoinPayments support team: Follow average market price and CP's exchange rate precisely. I think CP should fix its calculation. The market might be shallow but in this case, we should apply 10% increment for Fluttercoin payments. Take a look at prices CP's exchange rate: 362 sat Mintpal's buy order : 332 sat - for 0.058 btc Mintpal's sell order : 350 sat - for 0.079 btc I also saw whenever you first posted that I went to coinpayments site and seen that it wasn't listed any more. Don't have a screen shot though but I did see it.

Hi, is there something wrong with the blockchain or network? my wallet has stuck at 84670..
Have you tried deleting all your AppData\roaming\fluttercoin files and then restarting your wallet? Don't forget to backup your wallet.dat but you really don't need to delete it. You can just delete all the other files in that folder. My wallet is synced fine, as I type this its on block # 84900

Its all good. We all know what the price is and where it should be. If it ever drops under 150, then i'd start worrying but I don't believe that will happen. I'm excited for the future of this coin so that's why it stays in my stash of long term hold coins.

Well chill out with the negativity. We all want this coin to succeed. We all have to do our part in spreading the word/info. Any negativity just hurts the coin and we all don't want/need that. This coin will never just "die" like other coins will I guarantee that. PoT is a great feature and in the long run, others will start to follow and others will start to copy and then once that happens, everyone will know where PoT originated from. I think that will help the price itself not to mention the other stuff the devs have in store for this coin. Just like everyone knows PoS came from Peercoin, everyone will know PoT came from Fluttercoin. It may take a few years for all this to happen, it may not. No one really knows but I believe this coin will reach the $1 mark if not more in the long run. When that happens, a lot of us will be happy we were holding these coins I promise.
