Wow, haven't checked on FLT since friday and it drops this low? Didn't think it would ever go below 1000 but that's ok. There may be some kind of massive pump incoming with prices this low. Either way I am still holding and don't plan on selling for a long time so if it goes down, then I guess i'll go down with the ship but I still believe this coin has potential and a lot more going for it than many of these other coins out there.


So how exactly is POT going to work? Will POT always be half of the block reward? So even when rewards are small say 20flt, then you will only be getting 10 flt for POT?

Keep your coins in your own wallet and wait 30 days for POS. I guess if people keep their coins on exchanges it just POS in the exchanges wallet.

Whats up with the multipool? I only got 261 coins for 24 hours of mining yesterday with 2.1 m hash. I can get 600 coins with same hash on a pool in 24 hours. I may use the multipool later on when the blocks are halfed to almost nothing but for now, gonna stick with a pool.

Is there something wrong with the primecoin wallet ? Or is there some kind of update? I have 166 coins total. I just opened my wallet up for the first time in about 2 weeks and everything is synced fine but im showing 14 xpm confirmed, 152 unconfirmed? I have been collecting xpm since Nov of last year and the last time I had my wallet open all coins were confirmed. The wallet version is the one thats on there main website, 0.1.2

That's far from a tanking graph like your pic. FLT started from practically nothing until that first pump and then everyone started jumping in. The price is stable and I doubt it ever goes back under 1000. If you need the money so bad, just sell all your FLT if your that impatient. FLT isn't going to be a quick cash grab and that's what a lot of us like about it.

FLT price is stable and will rise, slowly but surely. If you are looking to make a quick buck, just cash out your FLT now and go buy something like cinni coin where other people have to go into other threads and beg for hash for their coin. FLT will always be around and many people know this. A lot of people saw that first pump and then wanted to jump on the train b/c they think its gonna be a quick ride to the moon which its not going to be. That's all fine and dandy if you play that game but FLT isin't that type of game. There's a reason why FLT was added to the major exchanges within its first week on the scene without anyone having to beg, bribe, or vote for. How many coins out there right now made it to the top exchanges without any work at all? Not many if any.

FLT dev is not a ghost like ghostcoin/whitecoin dev. If there is any problems, he will fix it asap like he has been doing since the start. You dont have to worry about missing devs when you invest in FLT thats for sure.

When does POS start? I was mining within the first 2 hours of start and still no POS. Does it even work?

First, going forward it is refereed to as POT (proof-of-transaction)

2nd, its not that easy to achieve a match - if you send 100 transactions your odds are slim.

3rd Only the first match counts

4th it will not be active for POS or adjacent POS blocks (which will make it rarer)

5th its only active on blocks with a small number of TX's

6th in the next release, that will be fine-tuned even further to look within each TX

I am positive people have been trying this already as well...

I am also thinking of changing the reward structure as years go by etc

Just finished mining WC so moving my computers back to FLT.

A year + from now people will be wishing they had bought FLT at this price b/c its the first coin of its kind with POT. How many of these other coins will be around a year from now? I doubt many. If I had to use one coin besides BTC to actually purchase stuff, it would be FLT. Who wouldn't want to use FLT with its POT chance of getting more coins? I'd use FLT over LTC any day if it ever becomes a coin where you can purchase stuff like BTC. I wish coinbase didn't take 3 days to wait for BTC so I could purchase more..

When does POS start? Just right after block 10000 ? Do the coins have to be held a certain # of days?
