1  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent portfolio: When you can't afford to lose money on: May 30, 2018, 02:59:13 AM
This is the prerogative of long-term active and passive investment. This is a passive strategy built on diversification. Not using market time.

This is a defensive investment strategy that also generates a decent return. But remember, the goal is stability.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits? on: May 23, 2018, 04:16:34 PM
Bank of Spain, in Madrid, says that the bank of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin, it's not worth it, and there are more risks than benefits. There are more innovations and they are having more effect.

What is your opinion?

Well, Yes, perhaps bitcoin is now in an extremely risky zone, and can certainly collapse, but I think still this will not happen, and it will only rise and will work for a long time.
maybe if we look, a lot of risk on bitcoin. but I think bitcoin especially krypto money is generally being drafted to reduce risk. and in fact bitcoin is very potential for economic progress in the future.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: New York City Launches First Blockchain Initiatives on: May 22, 2018, 06:29:46 PM
How far have we progressed from New York trying to stomp out the competition by introducing the "BitLicence" and creating a barrier to entry for small Bitcoin Businesses, to them embracing Blockchain technology like this? Some might say that they are backing the competition by doing this and sabotaging Bitcoin once again.

I think, if they open their city to all Crypto currencies and not just some Blockchain based solutions that are endorsed by them, then people would support this endeavour.  Wink
Georgia-based Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), a company operating 23 regulated exchanges and marketplaces, and the owner of the New York Stock Exchange has been creating an online platform to allow investors to buy and hold Bitcoin. ICE first appeared in the digital currencies market through a cryptocurrency data feed in March.

ICE has organised talks with other financial institutions about the project being developed and it has been asking not to be identified due to confidentiality of the conversations otherwise the project could be aborted prematurely.

In December 2017, Wall Street firms started giving clients futures from Cboe Global Markets and CME Group, but the financial sector has been timid from trading bitcoin. The reason is that virtual currencies can be hacked and stolen and this problem has happened very many times on most cryptocurrency firms. So traditional Wall Street firms will have to find out how to reserve such assets safely in order to facilitate and boom investment.

Wall Street bank Goldman Sachs disclosed that it was operating on a cryptocurrency trading desk earlier in May. Very many trading firms have been dealing with cryptocurrency including Chicago-based HFTs like  Jump Trading and DRW

Potential investors may be given swaps by Intercontinental Exchange that would end with the consumer owning bitcoin the following day. These contracts would set the trading under the control of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Jeffrey Sprecher, ICE Chief Executive Officer promised to reject offering contracts based on digital currencies, in last month's interview:

"There is a trend here we can't ignore in my mind, so I don't discount it."
The undertaking will have a bigger advantage over existing cryptocurrency exchanges firms that lack the mature market structure of equities exchanges such as Nasdaq and the NYSE.

Goldman Sachs Group has been tirelessly working on enlarging contract types available to different investors as it arranges to open a bitcoin trading business. The bank will presumably buy and sell bitcoin futures in a principal, market-making capacity and will make non-deliverable forward products.

In April, Nasdaq partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Gemini and is soon launching a futures cryptocurrency market. Adena Friedman, CEO Nasdaq said the firm could in future launch a crypto exchange.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware of KYC on: May 22, 2018, 05:29:12 PM
I think ICO projects that use KYC or do not have the same risk. but those using KYC make it a bit more difficult to work.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best country for crypto on: May 22, 2018, 05:50:16 AM
Other countries in Europe are also beginning to consider issuing digital currency through their central bank. Similar to Norway, Sweden Riksbank is considering e-krona as a result of declining cash circulation.
The Swiss Federal Council has requested a nationally supported digital currency study that examines risks and shipping opportunities. Now, the lower house of the Swiss parliament must decide whether to support the Federal Council's request for research. If the proposal is approved, the Swiss Ministry of Finance will conduct research.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: May 18, 2018, 05:49:42 PM
I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
That's only because people believe, that it has a value. BTC is a great archetype of cryptocurrencies, but future are alt coins with real value in some form. I can give you an example. Nebula Network is a decentralized storage cloud with emission mechanism tied to their supply. That means it is not minned, but has a solid backing in computational power and disc space. Due to this fact, its rate of exchange will be rock stable and separated from Bitcoin. It's worth to read some about this project on their site, I thing there will be more coins like this one soon.

8  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin become a long-term trusted store of value? on: May 16, 2018, 10:40:23 PM

If it does become a long-term trusted store of value, BTC should trade around $2,000,000 a coin (depending on how many coins are lost and are actually in circulation). That is over 100x the price of where BTC is today.

Where do you get this figure from?

Bitcoin has the basic characteristics of a store of value, the main one being a limited supply. It will need to have some utility for it to be trusted as a store of value so it must succeed in some form as a currency.
True, bitcoin has the perfect characteristics to be a store of value in fact its characteristics are even better than gold, however there is a lot of competition with many other alts trying to take its place so if bitcoin is become a store of value it needs to leave no doubt that it is the best coin in the market and for that it needs to be adopted as a currency or have some other use.
although bitcoin there is a lot of competition with many other alts, but bitcoin is still the first.
This proves a coin that is trusted for the future.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the challenges for investment with Small capital? on: May 16, 2018, 09:37:04 AM
In the study of economics, Investment mean any addition in physical stock as well as stock of finished goods,  or you can say any putting money in anything for the motive of profit.I want to know your opinion that what are main challenges for small investors in any type of business now a days, If he/she has nothing after his investment?

challenge of small invertor, they must have high speculative power.
because declines and price increases mean a lot to them.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: tool in market trading on: May 16, 2018, 07:53:34 AM
I think to start trading the market:
1. Must have strong analytical power.
2. Must have courage and patience.
may be enough to start trading for a beginner.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook and blockchain on: May 13, 2018, 07:27:26 AM
rich facebook does not want to miss getting bigger assets. but why the facebook management team ever issued a ban on crypto ads, but they did create their own cryptocurrency.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading will be faded !!?? on: May 12, 2018, 12:23:22 AM
any coins that will become stronger, nothing can be predicted. Cryptocurrency certainly will not fade in the near future may be stronger because of the increasing number of users.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: May 11, 2018, 08:32:03 PM
This question is like the question that bitcoin will be invincible. No one can be sure. But if I see from its development bitcoin is still number 1. the enthusiasm of bitcoin everywhere still creates a very high demand. I believe prices will continue to soar many times over.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 10, 2018, 04:23:41 AM
I don't think so but to my mind the answer is obvious because the number of scams has increased. It is difficult to define who is who. That's why a lot of people think that it is necessary to be careful with everyone
Yes,and today alot of fakes news spreading in social media and sometimes bitcoin is the topic. And because this people dont have any idea about bitcoin they believe on what they hear or see and sometimes they watch. So that they dont want to involved in cryptocurrency.
Why let it be, if we can afford it we must provide the correct information to provide a true understanding of Bitcoin.
Scammer must be resisted because it is very dangerous, they can give panic to anyone with lies
although many people who experience it but not all through it.
sometimes there is support or not, where we should be more careful choosing it.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: You're not wealthy yet, so you're not allowed to be wealthy on: May 09, 2018, 03:50:38 AM
perseverance and patience can also turn a person into a rich person. does not mean the poor do not have the opportunity to become rich.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: May 09, 2018, 01:06:40 AM
ETH has excellent potential, many ICO projects use ETH.
for that I continue to support with the development of ETH.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks are still "stalking" Bitcoin users on: May 08, 2018, 06:37:19 PM
a very reasonable fear to "stalk" Bitcoin users. I'm sure the decrease in bitcoin value is not so low that it will not take long to recover.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ? on: May 08, 2018, 05:07:51 PM
yes, not a few people get rich by cryptocurrency. This shows that cryptocurrency can turn people into a lot of wealth.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for someone to manipulate the virtual currency market? on: May 06, 2018, 05:34:46 AM
If an entity is large and powerful enough, is it possible for it to gain a monopoly advantage and manipulate the rises and falls of the virtual currency market?
a blockchain based virtual money transaction is unimaginable can be manipulated. everything will be transparent and everyone will know it.
but I think the problem with the price in the market could be a monopoly advantage and manipulate the increase and decrease.
20  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system should be removed ! on: May 05, 2018, 05:15:31 PM
personally me think merit system should not be there and ranks should be done via there post counts and quality of its posts

as of its too hard for new comers too to gather merits from old members who always do trades and exchange merit only for them but the person who is new and if he dont has btc to exchange then its less chance for him even after posting quality post on bitcointalk forum

lol now dont give me merit for this i know the points which me said is true and many will agree Tongue

proof of merit abuse done on this forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3402060.0

I hope you are more patient, this is the rule we must take.
even though we have desires, we must see ourselves first. the extent to which we can do the job well.
then we think of reciprocity.
I personally though without rank also if we are diligent, I think will succeed.
