Wow the p2p nodes (34% DOA+orphan)  @ 2.5gh/s.  That means like almost 1GH/s is being wasted.. wow. ouch.

my wallet can not sync to latest now, what's the problem ?

Had a few people in my channel talk about this as well. Wallets seem to be getting hung up on the KWG fork.

crikey, the top hasher on dedicatedpool is pumping out aound 240MH/s

even at half the hash rate, how the bloomin' hell is this possible?

Holy hell, okay now i see what just happened.  Registrations closed.  PLEASE SPREAD HASH AROUND  - and please, oh please, set donations so we can donate to the EXE developer/fund.  This is a NO-PREMINE coin guys.  Please donate so we can pass the donations on to the dev!

Seems like one of the pools didn't updated a coin daemon in time and their miners backed up to dedicatedpool. I'm fully supporting binaryclock's incentives to donate and donating too from time to time from exe.poolz.net proceeds.

No, it was a farm of 250mh/s.  One guy.  He mined for an hour, but he's gone now and we dropped back down to a good hash rate.

Reopened registrations.

Okay what just happened.  I walked away for 30 minutes and came back to 1gh/s out of 1.3gh/s.  What big pool went down?  I locked registrations now, but I think it'll do no good because it looks like everyone is using failovers.

731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXE] Execoin - Fast | ASIC resistant | Multipool resistant | no-premine on: March 14, 2014, 03:11:15 PM

Congratulations!

Kimoto Gravity Well has been successfully digged out and is working perfectly! :-)

EXECOIN, GJ man!  I was watching it too Wink

Hmmm.. trying to manually withdraw EXE from dedicatedpool.... taking forever..

Anyone else having problems?

Nope.  Come in to IRC and ask around.  Send me a PM if you didn't get a payout yet, but crons seem to be ok.

We have re-opened registrations now that we are 39% of the nethash.  Before this, registrations have been locked for 6-8 hours.

Dedicatedpool is at 40% nethash now.  We are reopening pool to let a few miners get onboard that have been asking for the past 6-8 hours since we have been locked.

Please spread the hash around or we'll have to relock again quickly.

735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXE] Execoin - Fast | ASIC resistant | Multipool resistant | no-premine on: March 13, 2014, 10:26:09 PM
The coin is too much undervaluated. It can go up to 2-3$ easy.

Why do you think it can surpass VTC? I mean it would be nice but I dont know why exactly. Ok, the execution time is much better but on the other hand the VTC team is not sleeping eather - they are permanently on their way to enhance the infrastructure of VTC.

Much more agressive N-factor change, bigger thorn in the side of ASIC manufacturers.

YEP!  It's great Smiley

ANNOUNCEMENT:

http://EXE.DEDICATEDPOOL.COM  - has temporarily closed registrations due to hash approaching 45%.

Please mine on another pool, or check back with us later.

Glad to see the cooperation between the coin and its best pool. Was looking pretty heated there, so thanks to both of you for working it out.

I always try to co-operate.. you know me.  I think we just had some miscommunication.  The delay in PMs through mail on this forum back and forth caused it.

IRC is the better option.

DEDICATEDPOOL RULES!

We were kicking this coin in the but way before the whole community jumped on the bandwagon with the pump.

Binary is THE man also. Be good to him. He is doing a hell of a job.

If your looking for a pool to trust you might want to check out Dedicated.

Also...... NEED MORE COFFEE!!!!

+1 !

Still waiting with a locked account for my e-mail to get back in for all my coins, yeah they're just greeat no response yet.

Sorry I'm 75 tickets behind schedule.  I'm working down the list now.  Is this for exe coin?  I'll unlock it now for you sir.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXE] Execoin - Fast | ASIC resistant | Multipool resistant | no-premine on: March 13, 2014, 08:00:10 PM
Why do people get so excited when a pool has 50% of the hash?

You know that means nothing right?

Now if I had 50% of a coin ever produced or 51% then I have a better chance to double spend or disrupt the network for a very short time(51% attack).

But even then it is not automatic coin death and it is still really hard to do. It's not a I win button and I run away with everyone's coins; plus there are actions that can be taken to ban addresses to mitigate it and shut down an attack through a policy off waiting for multiple transactions before verification.

Plus people are going to have to not be watching to not figure out what I am up to before I do it. It's hard to keep a big operation like that secret.

It's hard to set up the kind of big operation needed to pull it off and even then there are no guarantees that it will happen and and if it is successful there is very little reward if any. Your better off just building a reputable business as far as profits go or using the hash power to simply mine for profit.

It's best u guys figure this out before u start witch hunting small pools to death just because they have 50% or more hash of a coin. It's silly lol. Sky is falling! Grab your torches!

Be a bit more educated before you over react like that. Your going to miss out if you don't.

Educate:

I agree completely!  However it is good to spread the hash around.  50% isn't a magical number, like you said.. even then it's hard to fork.. you have to try to do it.

I always try to work with the developers though.  This developer wants me to close approaching 50% and bring it back down to around 40%.  I will comply and I agree that it's better for the coin to have hash spread around.

But again, thank you for educating people.

Guys, the version of the new wallet (with KGW) is the same as the old one. Are you sure it's safe to transfer my coins?

Sir, the fork has not happened yet.  You will be safe to transfer your coins with either wallet right now.  Why do you say that it is the same BTW?
