I always wondered what is the problem for BTC to be finally adopted in the wide range of business, I was expecting at least a great adaption in the online business but even so, what stops business from adapting BTC, the volatility? The low rates of adoption? Or maybe a lack of propaganda? BTC is so great and I really wish I could use it in more places IRL!
There are three main reasons that are acting as bottlenecks for bitcoin's adoption. 1. Legal framework 2. Liquidity 3. Volatility Propaganda can't help unless we find a solution to these three points. There are few companies that are trying to solve the liquidity issue by providing settlement services to the merchants, but then volatility is eating into the profits and brings uncertainty to the merchants. If the solution to these three problems are found, the adoption rate will increase exponentially. But sadly, none of these are in our hands. Thanks for your reply, it really brightened my ideas and I realized I haven't think about it yet, indeed there are more challenges to bictoin besides propaganda and media. I hope with things working the USA the other governments will follow suit.

That's really sad! I hope he manages to recover his BTC even tho it's virtually impossible at this point, also I believe that was a dumb move he made I believe.

He is talking because he believes Russia is in a very fragile spot where other countries are constantly waging war and setting bases along their borders so Putin believes he needs to avoid World War 3 but won't step down if he deems it necessary.

Yes, I believe cryptocurrency will never surpass or takes fiat place because standard money is an ancient association within the culture of all countries at some point and crypto is not flawless and can't cover all sorts of operations, also is dependable of networks etc. Money has all the banking structure to back them up and crypto will be very hard to adapt, at best it will be one of the payment options.

I gave you 1 merit for supporting bitcoin, We need more people like you. As posters above me already mentioned, Investing what is not your own into something as volatile as bitcoin is a very risky move but without taking such risks there will be no reward. Make sure to sell with profit and invest that money somewhere with guaranteed ROI if that's all the money your uncle has.
This is great! It's people like you that keep this forum running healthy, indeed the original poster was very bold trusting in Bitcoin over banking, even after the media backlash and all the negativity around, it's good to see people that are smart enough to see through these things.

I listen a lot to analytics, they are often right and try to analyze and predict everything with very good data and logic, so in that way, I can even make my own decisions about the subject. If your analyst is really trying to convince or impose something on you or his audience, please get suspicious!

English language is powerful of course, but the most powerful one I think is Chinese. It's a language of the future.
Why? What do you mean by powerful to start with? English is the most spoken language used because of Europe, the English Commonwealth and the Brittish former colonies spread around the world, also in Europe many nations from different language families have many common things with English, as it unifies vocabulary from the Romance and Germanic language trees, which already covers most of the continent, also most things were developed in the United States specially on the internet, etc. There is no such a thing as "powerful" but accessibility, that's why people started using English.

Are you using translation tools? Because your posts make zero sense. It's clear you can't speak English so the English speaking board probably isn't suitable for you.
This. The post is pretty much unreadable.

The only people who think that Bitcoin is a scam still are those who are completely out from the technology sphere and just hold prejudices in some subjects, they're just trolling at the end of the day, they don't really care.

I've heard and read many analysts actually optimistic about this last big dive in the market flow, they believe it's a signal for a big bull in the next semester. But I find hard to believe as I'm not seeing why exactly they see that, what you guys think?

I've seen a lot of topics like this but I don't know how to do it.
In my case if I need any then I copy the others. Click quote next to the title and you will see the text, copy it and the use it. Or just highlight it > Right click > Copy/paste on subject line. - OP, you can find everything on "Emojipedia".
- Not everything works (I added few on the subject line). - You won't be able to see some of the emojis on preview window/mode.
Thank you very much for the link!

I'm horrible at explaining such things, it either end up as "So it's a scam, right" or "So it's like digital gold, right?" and that makes me really angry! At least with my friends, I'm done...

Me personally I really don't writing too, especially those times in college when you're pretty much forced to write papers on certain topics. Lately though, I've been writing a bit on topics that I'm knowledgeable and interested in, and let me tell you. I enjoyed it A LOT more. They should just pick a topic/niche that they're interested in. May it be gaming, sports, a certain branch of science, business, you name it.
I love writing but yeah, I know that feeling of being forced to write something that you're totally not interested at all is horrible! Where I can check the progress by the way? It's been few days and I just came back to check how things are going! I'm not an english speaker myself and I commit some mistakes (out of laziness to be honest), but I believe I can help a lot and even learn.

Your certainly won't read this post after so many, but if you're really looking for something exotic and different, I suggest you heard Bossa Nova or MPB (Popular Brazilian Music), they are passionate or cheerful genres, the most famous singers are either Antônio Carlos Jobim or Chico Buarque de Holanda, look it up on youtube!

Reading this got me thinking, I wonder if it would be possible to set up a smart contract to transfer all of your funds into a wallet that she controls after a certain timeout (say a year) unless explicitly stopped by you. Kind of like a failsafe. So that once a year you cancel the transaction before it happens, but if you pop your clogs, it goes through
That's a really nice and interesting. Also, I believe for a small fee there are banking services that holds your belongings in a safe coffer, there in the event of your death, they can open the coffer and give your wife whatever was stored in there, including all your passwords and crucial information. These services are generally well spoken, as they hold no value for bandits and are secured 24 hours / day, I believe you can even check the security cameras yourself. I believe your wife won't be interesting on keeping investing like you (unless shes into that) and she is going to cash out.

I don't know about you guys, but the greatest thing that made me interested about cryptocurrency was the dreamy chance to earn lots and lots of money "doing nothing", of course the idea itself was extraordinary, and it was hell to get to know even the smallest process about it. Yes, I was one the people that had the chance to invest in 2008 and wanst just that much interested, due to many things, I lost so much money thinking now... I had the money to invest, but no the time. But whatever, everyday is a good day to earn! And I suppose most of you in the begginers forum is looking for some juicy bounty, opportunity and interesting information, well I got one right here. How to mine BTC Effectively, of course. Step 1: Save your money! The hardest part. Stop immediatly buying those candies, sodas, useless clothes or anything you buy out of luxury. You gonna need all the money you can to make the best of your investments, pay your bills and try to save as much as possible for the next step. Step 2: Buy a miner The second hardest part. They can be kinda expensive depending on where you from, but you need to choose your miner, CPU and GPU are no longer so good to mine for a lot of reaons, they are almost obsolete these days. And miners are simply too good, they are machines working 100% to mine and use all their power to make you earn. Some famous miners are Antminer , Pandaminer , Avalon and many others, research very well before buying it! Some are build especially for one sort of coin like ETH or XMR. Step 3: Download BTC core Let's say you bought a nice miner and have it at your home set-up and plugged with your computer. Read the manual! The process to install the rig might differ from branch, honestly I'm not certain, but I wouldn't be surprised. Now that you went through this small and boring step, go to bitcoin.org/download and download the core, it might take a while depending on your speed connection! Follow the guidelines on the website and proceed to the next step. Step 4: Download a miner software If your rig already don't have one of their preference, there are several mining programs of very skilled programmers on their knees imploring you to use them. For BTC the most famous (and some that I used myself) are: Bitcoin Miner, BTC miner (very criative names), EasyMiner, NiceHash and others. It really depends on your Operational System, look carefully! Step 5: Set up your wallet This is harder than you think. Okay, this is a hot topic so I will just show you the most famous online wallets. Keep in mind, that are several sort of wallets, normally you can start with an online wallet without a care, but if you're really worried about security you can look for a hardware wallet, which is in fact safer and better in general. But everything is up to you! All I can tell you is that I went to Coin.space or BitGo. Step 6: Choose your mining pool That's up to you Bitcoin mining pools are a way for Bitcoin miners to pool their resources together and share their hashing power while splitting the reward equally according to the amount of shares they contributed to solving a block. It's not necessary and it might take a while to solve your first block, but I strongly suggest you do that for a start. I can't say much about it as the topic is kinda complicated but if you ever try it out choose AntPool, F2Pool or BW.com! Step 7: Commence mining Hold your coins in your wallet, there are many services with small fees out there that you can use to cash out. But be careful, you can be losing a lot of money doing that, keep an eye on the market and watch BTC current price and trends, a good website for that is CryptoCompare, with charts and everything you need for BTC and all altcoins. If that ever helped you one day, please let me know!

Personally, they are discouraging this kind of activities but not banning it. I wonder why would this happen? It will causes to misled and mis-informed.
Yeah I believe it's because such situations might be difficult to judge/track, that's what I believe... A moderator answer on that would be nice!
