MinerFarm topic that we used to make announcements and answer questions, which was under "Service Announcements" category for almost 5 months, has been moved under "Gambling" category by Bitcointalk moderator Cyrus. We kindly tried to explain our objection but unfortunately we couldn't get a reply.
This action is really disturbing for MinerFarm developers and admins. This is disturbing because we are trying to create value added services for our players and community. MinerFarm is an investment based strategy game and strictly nothing related to gambling.
For the sake of our efforts on MinerFarm, we do not want to be represented under "Gambling" category and announce to community that we will not post under this topic anymore within these conditions.

I thought you asked for my username to find a fix for this issue, hired another tech, still 67 minutes, guess selling the miner is only option left for users who have miners below 60%
I just have 130 Ghs and now I have around 70 (thanks to your virtual = real = twice in a day login + daily decrease in mining capacity feature), understandable, not complaining. I am not whining about my 130 GHs, but, I posted a review about minerfarm on my blog (not to get referrals, just to help beginners who are new to mining), a transparent review for a transparent site (not so transparent), but I guess you should update your FAQ with "miners below 60% health are not worth getting repaired, it will compel users to get their miners repaired on a routine basis."

Contact Aliser. Hiring the tech should have done most of the repairs. From what I've seen a 1 hour tech will repair ~30% total damage. If your miner didn't get repaired at all, Aliser needs to know about it. But I can't imagine why you would let your miner get that damaged tbh.
I do not think 1 hour tech will repair up to 30% damage within an hour. I have already hired three technicians for 20 MHs miner (55% health) and it is taking 67 minutes to get repaired. @Aliser, it would be great if we were able to transfer our earnings from your faucets to MinerFarm without any transfer fee.
Hi Various. MinerFarm and faucets are independent and separate systems. So unfortunately, I cannot provide a service that connects MinerFarm and faucets due to this secure design. |

You should introduce CPA ads to your site and encourage the users to click on them at least once in a day in order to get revenue from them and to run the game smoothly. Users need to think that this is not a real mining platform. It is just a mining simulation just like "train simulation games" where real trains are not running on your android phones right? Also it will be better if you reduce the faucet interval to 6 hours and add a notification ringtone which will ring as soon as 6 hours has passed (we must need to keep our tab open for this feature to work). All the best for your game Hi @Indianacoin. It is against AdSense policies to encourage site visitors to click ads, so we cannot do such a thing. Will there be stronger miners, with higher hashrate be avaliable in the future?
We are trying to keep the game as realistic as possible. But we are considering other reasonable miner options for the future. Thank you for the question. |
