81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you join airdrop? on: April 29, 2018, 05:20:54 PM
There is a long history of prices running up before an airdrop only to come crashing down just before the event. I would use extreme caution in partaking although there are many gains to be made on the run up prior to the event.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: April 29, 2018, 05:13:42 PM
Once something has been compromised like this it would take a while for me to trust them again. I believe everyone deserves a second chance, especially in this emerging space. But I’d want to see a long track record with no issues before jumping back in.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: April 29, 2018, 04:57:41 PM
ONLY keep your coins on an exchange if you plan on selling/trading them. If you are not making short term plays it is FAR more secure to keep your holdings in a cold wallet. If you use anything other than this, you are placing the responsibility of your assets in someone else’s hands.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin under 1$ to invest in now? on: April 29, 2018, 02:03:25 AM
Question shouldn’t be about coins under $1 as much as it should be about market caps under $100 mln. The value of a single coin is completely related to how many coins exist. I’d say I’m this category wagerr, emc2 and storj
86  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BitcoinTalkShow on: April 29, 2018, 01:47:46 AM
Thanks. Agree the more media the better. It might be a bit ambitions to run that large of a cycle. But glad to hear that there is demand for such things. Planning on starting small w a weekly hour long segment and then working it up from there.
87  Economy / Marketplace / BitcoinTalkShow on: April 28, 2018, 08:43:54 PM
Hey all. I live in LA and have some connections to studios/networks etc out here. Planning on putting together a pitch for a show. What are your thoughts on a hosted show on Bitcoin and crypto related events?

Here are the main questions:

What types of content would you want to see?

How often? Daily, weekly?

What things would you prefer not be covered on the show (if any)

If you're interested in helping us get on more exchanges please reach out to the following and request EMC2: binance, okex, and Gate.io
Also, we are trying to do the same for Ledger.

You can pm me directly if you have any questions.

Thanks again for all the support.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: April 28, 2018, 07:07:26 PM
Any plans for Emc2 to be listed on binance? if yes it would be of great volume and less volatile

We have submitted our application, now just waiting on them to respond.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start Trading for newbie on: April 28, 2018, 06:26:02 PM
Best two exchanges are bittrex and binance. You can acquire some BTC from Coinbase or Gemini and then move it over to the exchanges once you are registered.
91  Economy / Marketplace / Re: LOOKING TO INVEST MY LIFE SAVINGS NEED ADVICE on: April 28, 2018, 09:44:19 AM
I share the same view as many of the other respondents. Although many of us believe in the future of this tech, it's anyone's guess which of these assets will perform and how well. If you have an appetite for risk, I'd maybe go as high as 20% of your net worth. But to invest everything is a mistake, no matter what. It is only wise to create diversity with your investments and hedge your bets. There are plenty of cryptos as well with a lot of room to grow, so my suggestion would be to find a few smaller projects that excite you and throw a small amount into those projects. If you are dead set on BTC and ETH, I'd do 60/40 or 70/30 in favor of BTC. Bitcoin for two reasons: 1) it is tried and true, battle tested and continues to gain traction/adoption and 2) ETH is technically a security, though there are many petitioning to erase that from the history books. Additionally, it has a lot of competition now with XLM, EOS, ADA etc.

Hope that helps and may the crypto g-ds be forever in your favor.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Blockchain for transparency and accountability on: April 28, 2018, 02:13:42 AM
This is probably a highly controversial topic, however I'd like to see what everyone things about utilizing blockchain to create more transparency, especially for fundraising and charity. While privacy is important when it comes to our basic human rights, transparency is essential to ensure that elections are not corrupted and donations are not embezzled.

What does everything think about this?

What features could we implement in the bitcoin code to create a new standard for these types of financial events?
96  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project Promotion and Engagement on: April 28, 2018, 02:07:04 AM
telegram is probably the largest. Here is good as well but I agree with the others. Incubate the idea first, then share some info with others to help build a team. Word of mouth is always the strongest for a new project.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! A few of the EMC2 team members will be attending the Crypto Invest Summit next week. If anyone is in town and would like to link up, please message me or bluelab!

Check out Einsteinium. A fork of the Litecoin network focused on fundraising. They are doing some exciting things right now.

To make it very clear:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/emc2/address.dws?EKnqTC9XEuucZEhD3miDGnbJxBptcxhByA.htm

A full history of the Foundation Wallet. You can see quite clearly that no funds have been removed from the wallet since May 19th, 2017 when 100,000 coins were spent on marketing (a total of $3,000 at that time). Prior to that, there were only 4 instances of withdrawals:

- April 6th, 2017  222,222 EMC2 (USD Value of $1098.66)
- Dec 2nd, 2016  365,000 EMC2 (USD Value of $365)
- July 4, 2016     1,974,843 EMC2 (USD Value of $3748.25)
- March 3, 2016  200,000 EMC2 (USD Value of $66)

The new team took over in 2017, so is responsible for withdrawals totaling $4,098.66.

If you have issues or concerns regarding past events we want to reiterate that the current group of people running the Foundation were not associated with this project prior to 2017.

Furthermore, we encourage all those who are genuinely interested in seeing this project succeed to get in touch with us directly and become part of the family. This currency is about openness and inclusion.

We are ushering in a new era of transparency, and the Foundation is committed to this effort. We do not want people looking for information regarding this, or any other cryptocurrency, being misled by false rumors, comments or anything else not backed up by facts. We kindly request that all in this forum refrain from doing such.

WHO NOW CONTROLS THAT WALLET? (*crickets*) ... EXACTLY = YOU MISSED THE BOAT ... WHEN YOU PLANNING ON DUMPING YOUR BAGS? HMMM

"OPENNESS AND TRANSPARENCY" MY ASS LOLLLL YOU ARE NOT A NON-PROFIT SORRY TO BREAK IT TO YOU ~  I GOT BANNED FROM YOUR TELEGRAM CHANNEL WITHIN MINUTES OF CALLING YOU OUT ON YOUR BULLSHIT!!

The foundation controls the wallet, and the history is public, which is precisely why no can accuse us of 'dumping' coins.

So please, ARTIST COLONY or DANIELRAMOS1 or OWSLEY or GEMBITZ, whichever avatar you want to be addressed as:

Stop spreading false information. If you are displeased with this project, you have our full blessing to go create your own.
