Before the bounty distribution, I think the price was around 3500 (I think) and after that, the price went to 2700 so I don't think that's much of a dump caused by bounty distribution.

I am not sure but I participated in some bounty campaigns which gave me my reward token in a split like 50% after the campaign finished and another 50% after 4-6 months so I think it might be possible what you are saying.

All you describe is the shitkoins. Is it hard to understand? With the increasing popularity of cryptocurrency on the market, a lot of shitcoins appeared.
That's why the best thing you can do is assume that all the coins in the market are shitcoin unless and until they prove you otherwise. |

What happens to the price? Why strong fall lately?
Already three times fell in dollars from the peak of the price against the background of the growth of the remaining tokens where there is a small capitalization.
The couple of reason I can think for the sudden price drop is. 1. Bitcoin's sudden price surge which resulted in many people selling their alts. 2. ZeroCoin Vulnerability is showing its impacts on price now. 3. Bounty was just distributed (though it shouldn't have made much difference). |

For me, Any coin that keeps losing the value even if everything around the project is rising and the coins whose daily trading volume took a sudden nosedive.

I read somewhere in the ANN thread that it is possible to create the snapshots on our own. So once I am able to download the full wallet, I will try creating a snapshot. I don't mind if it takes a few days. Because I have zero coins in my wallet, and unless I have 10,000 VEIL, I can't mine any of these coins using the PoW algorithm. Please correct me, if I was wrong.
What made you say that? You don't require any number of coins for mining Veil using PoW. All you require is a hash power. Also no need to create a snapshot of the blockchain because the official team members are doing it already and frequently. |

If possible buy a data(bandwidth) booster pack that will allow you to download the full blockchain snapshot at one go. This would help you a lot because sometimes the wallet just stops syncing.

In light with recently discovered vulnerabilities on Zerocoin based projects, it is interesting to note that VEIL will not be using or implementing anymore Zerocoin technology as the base core of its protocol as per their official blog - https://veil-project.com/blog/2019-05-09-state-of-veil/ . Any thoughts about this? The good thing is they removed the vulnerabilities from the wallet really quickly bad news is temporarily anonymity feature is disabled on VEIL hopefully we will soon get back a way to make an anonymous transaction through VEIL. |

I have downloaded the Veil wallet, but it is consuming a lot of bandwidth. I installed the wallet yesterday and it is downloading the blocks ever since. My daily quota of 3 GB was consumed for a second day straight and still around 50% is remaining. Is there a light wallet available for Veil, which I can use instead of the full desktop wallet?
For now, keep downloading the chain either by blockchain snapshots or through the wallet because according to their website they might soon release Veil wallet for smartphones. |

I wish the price was declining so my bag would get filled. Nobody is selling.  Price of Veil might go down a little bit more against bitcoin if BTC continuous the run it is currently on. So it's highly possible that your bag will get filled I also opened an order at around 3.3k let's see what happens next. |

Mostly when i try to send a coin to a different chain like usdt to btc, exchange gives a warning and doesn't execute the transaction.
But at the end, you did the mistake and you need them.
True. It's a bit weird that an error didn't pop out when using incorrect address format. Isn't the public address format of USDT and BTC different from each other? |

Wait for the response from the support. But keep in mind that you might never receive your USDT back. The only way you will get back the amount is if the transaction fails from binance's side.

No emission for staking and mining after years 19 and that means if the hardcap will have achieved by veil in the next 19 years from now. Remember after the hardcap has already achieved and no more emission will be produced and staking and mining will not get any reward from the block. I just got that from the veil.

Somehow, I’m not very positive about this coin in 2019. Too much she lost in value, and it saddens me a little. But the team seems to be working.

I won't believe that we are in a bull market unless the price of bitcoin crosses $10k till then I will try to scrap as much btc as I possibly can (below 6k).
