I will help develop this coin for you for free. 25 BTC is far more than you would ever need for this kind of project.

Good luck.

1184  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Earn Free CEX.io Vouchers on: August 06, 2014, 02:26:21 PM
the site works really well, in 30 minutes I had my voucher Smiley

Again a new account posting about how they got the voucher...

I'm encouraging my customers to post here, most of them don't have bitcointalk accounts. I'm switching it to another forum, so you won't have to worry about it any more. Thought this site would appreciate me sending them new members.

And for the guy who said I don't have any vouchers (whatever that means), here are my current CEX.io stats:

http://www.cexvouchers.com/status.html

This forum just doesn't trust brand new websites. Give us actual proof of these vouchers, or allow some sort of audit of your site.

Maybe this is real, though it's doubtful; Time will tell.
1185  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2 Deposits not posting to Cryptsy? on: August 06, 2014, 02:00:37 PM

I transferred two small amounts to my Cryptsy LTC account. Both did not show up. I have opened a ticket but have not heard back.
Anyway have any similar experiences? And, will the coin ever show up?

Any experts around that can deduct information from this:

The transactions have gone through, confirmed on the Litecoin block explorer: http://block-explorer.com/tx/736a7d63c93d858b6e7138ed2fd6b239953fdb4bd80815b91d4ceec14a29ee0c

Check your balance again - There may be a refresh feature? I wouldn't worry.

A new Ebay account (less than a month old) with 0 bid history bought out the auction on Ebay. I have a feeling this is a fradulant bid. Once I deny them the sale I will get back to those of you who contacted me via PM. Sorry about the delay.

Assuming they pay, once you ship the item paypal may take your side. Always escrow.
1187  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (testing waters) Looking to Sell 927Mhash Scypt on ZenCloud Hosting. on: August 06, 2014, 11:30:32 AM
Looking for the same information as the rest here: What you're asking price is, how much the fees per day is, and how difficult it is to have these units transferred to a different account. Also, are you willing to split them up?
1188  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: LTC 28M SCRYPT miner i on: August 06, 2014, 04:03:53 AM
Will you accept escrow? Do you have any screenshots, etc?

Both use paypal so that it's secure? That just sounds terrible.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: looking for know how of make own bitcoin on: August 06, 2014, 03:41:36 AM

General consensus: If you have to ask someone how to do it, you probably shouldn't attempt this project without some serious research first.

1193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie question physical bitcoins on: August 06, 2014, 02:58:06 AM
I personally do not see any value in physical bitcoin. Bitcoin gets it value from the security of the network and blockchain. Having something in your hand does not give you anything.
I think along the same lines as this.

Physical Bitcoins don't necessarily have a value, unless there is a wallet stored on the coin. Otherwise, why don't I go make a bunch of copper physical Bitcoins, and sell them for $600? See where I'm going with this?

Physical coins are just for show, unless you have an urge to print out a copy of your wallet onto paper.

There's a fairly good market for these coins as collectors items though.
1194  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Earn Free CEX.io Vouchers on: August 05, 2014, 01:24:29 AM
Some countries have more free offers than others, that's the way marketing goes. If you don't like my site, then don't visit. Plenty of people have received a lot of GH/s so far.

Roxas50 has been emailing me hysterical (lots of exclamation points) about vouchers they say I owe them, I have no record of them completing offers and have suggested that they not complete any more.

If an offer is going to cost you money, don't do it if you don't want, nobody is making you. I am trying to provide a service that helps users who cannot access cloud hashing while earning a little money for myself, instead I get flamed and called a scam.

Maybe I'll just shut the whole thing down.

I think ignoring the entire idea of having a Full/Sr/Hero member review this is really great for you.  Roll Eyes
1195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to mining and something of possible interest for Spreadsheet users on: August 04, 2014, 11:51:17 PM
1st, I have been calling them production runs, but is there a name for when you get paid?  I know it could be something simple as "Paid" or Payout", would just like to know if there is a vernacular that I need to know.

Most people just refer to them as payouts, from my understanding.

2nd, Is there any animosity if someone new comes along and sudden puts in a 6TH machine?  Not that I am going to do that as that is WAY out of my price range.

Quite honestly (and I hate to sound rude) but nobody really cares where you put your hashrate. (I promise that I mean this in the nicest way possible!). The only time people tend to care is when everyone starts freaking out about possible 51% attacks, and as long as you keep your eyes open you'll be able to judge those situations on your own.

More information on the "51% attack":

Good luck with mining, feel free to contact me at any time if you run into more questions. Enjoy your time here!
1196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Question About Hash rate on: August 04, 2014, 11:47:43 PM
Hi All

I have buy miner btc device

The hash rate are real?
for Example: 4410 gh hash rate =$212.50

Give us a link to what miner you are referring to? 4,000 GH's would be 4 TH's, which obviously doesn't seem right.
1197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin core problem on: August 04, 2014, 09:47:50 PM
Hello, thanks for taking the time to read my post.

I have downloaded bitcoin core. I am new to the whole bitcoin scene so go easy on me please. I purchased 0.2bitcoins and got them sent to my wallet within bitcoin core. Due to me being new to bitcoin i was unaware that I would have to wait for the wallet to sync for me to be able to access my bitcoins.

So with the bitcoin purchased I am now proceeding with syncing my wallet so I am able to access these bitcoins. However when syncing I am finding that it gets stuck on certain block levels. I have found my shutting down the program and reopening the programme this solves the issue and it continues syncing. But I cant do this for the how ever many days it looks like it will take. It doesnt help that my internet is extremely slow due to the area that I live in.

I have started downloading the bootstrap torrent after reading that is a quicker way ( all 17GB ). However I am wondering if this method is possible because I have already purchased my bitcoins. If it possible to download the bootstrap torrent without losing my bitcoins that I have already got I would be very grateful for some assistance on how to do this.

My other option which again I dont know if this is possibe, is to transfer the bitcoins to an online wallet??? But I am not sure if this is possible due to the fact that I cant see them in current wallet as it is not yet synced.

Once again I appreciate any help, I have been trawling the internet all evening to try and find a solution.

Thanks Dan

Moving forward, be sure that your wallet is synced before all transactions. Anyway, leaving that behind:

I don't think it is possible to transfer the Bitcoins at the moment using Bitcoin core; If you get the private key of your address and then imported that to an online wallet (such as with Blockchain.info) then you could use your Bitcoin.

What address did you send them to? Check with blockchain.info (which has it's bugs, but is generally very reliable) and make sure that the Bitcoins are where you sent them; if they are, then you're just fine and have to wait for the download to finish.

Regarding the download constantly getting stuck - I remember this happening to me and I just remember closing and reopening the client as well. I assume after a certain period of time it would automatically become "unstuck".
1198  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Earn Free CEX.io Vouchers on: August 04, 2014, 04:38:00 AM
Almost every post to this thread is from a brand new account with few posts.

Send me a voucher and I will say whether or not this is legit; If you don't trust me, then pick someone higher than me. Either way, don't just have 1 or 2 post accounts saying "Oh, this is the greatest I've ever seen." It means nothing.

We will be going to Cryptolina (well, I personally will!) to give a presentation on GreenCoin and to also just do some general marketing. We have a twenty minute slot, and more information can be found here:

http://www.cryptolina.com/

Our official logo can be found on that page as well.

Thanks all! Very excited for this event.
