1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gulden bringing CPU mining back with SIGMA on: February 26, 2021, 01:31:21 PM
Would be nice if you did not need a wallet on every pc on your network to mine this , or if it had a dashboard or cli command even to show the total  for your mining account since all my cpus mine to the same acct

yes this would be great.... you just import in every wallet ur seed and synch and start mining or something else to do?

Thanks!
Is this still GPU mineable? All I see for instructions is WildRig which is GPU only.
I had thought they went to a CPU heavy algo.

CPU at the beginning... (only "qt wallet miner" avaiable)

Now GPU  after 1st GPU Miners get rdy

Where would a good place be for mining with the updated Algo ?

I don't get your question...
U need a mining location?
Or you have cheap electricity and want to know where you should place your miner @home?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: October 24, 2020, 04:40:17 AM

Get the newest wallet (...96)... backup your wallet.dat... get your privkey....
start new wallet and change "roaming folder".... restore your wallet via privkey... should solve ur problems...

I downloaded this bootstrap and when I installed new Odarham wallet I searched %appdata% to open roaming file for wallet and delete chainstate and blocks and replaced with chainstate and blocks from bootstrap and put in my wallet .dat which synced it so it worked eventually.Thank you to all the useful advise from posters on the thread for pointing in right direction :-)

Question:  Does anyone know what daily/monthly/yearly payout in BTX coins for running 1 masternode?

0.78125000 BTX / Day / Masternode

simple solution - use the QT wallet and no need to pay any fees
I was away for too long and heard of the funding for coinomi's maintaining BTX on their wallet. I still have my BTX on coinomi, which is the best wallet to use from the official list guys on bitcore.cc?

Yeah QT Wallet... If you wanna use multi coin wallet i can suggest you ZelCore Wallet

Can anyone advise on issue above please? I am using the  V.15 wallet and it wont sync

of which wallet?

I use the Odarhome wallet but its only version 0.90.9.6

I am using the original V.15 QT wallet for over year now.I know nothing about this Odarhome version and do not know how to use it or masternodes.I also have more than 1 wallet . dat so cannot sync them all at the same time anyway even if I was to try this Odarham version.

there are also several QT wallets for BTX - I would suggest trying a newer version, you could do one wallet.dat file at a time. Odarhome QT wallet can open each one separately. you can then alwasy decide whether to merge them/sweep them into one if you wanted to.

The issue is whether I am now on different algo or something as my version 0.015.2.2 QT wallet which is a GUI node for bitcore has stopped syncing at block 670861 and if I put wallet. dat into this odarham wallet or whatever then there will be some conflict with my wallet. dat causing coins to be lost.I want confirmation from developer as to what I need to do or whether I can continue using V.015 wallet and this sync problem can be addressed without changing version.

I need clear instructions how to sync numerous wallet .dat files if updating to this new wallet and algo to prevent coins being compromised.

yes the algo changed and your old version wallet will not sync past where the change occurred.  When I updated to the new QT wallet, all I did was download it and then opened my .dat files and I had zero issues.

If concerned about corrupting the .dat files, you could always make copies of the .dat files and put them in a different directory and try opening the copies with the newer version.

as for the developers giving you assurance, they should be along and hopefully they will answer you soon.

Thank you for your advise on matter and I have sent a pm to developer but they do not have been online since October 01.   I will wait a while to see if there is response before attempting this as I am not very adept unfortunately. Much appreciated

Get the newest wallet (...96)... backup your wallet.dat... get your privkey....
start new wallet and change "roaming folder".... restore your wallet via privkey... should solve ur problems...

"... BitCore BTX community members reported Coinomi is delisting BitCore BTX without an official warning. BitCore BTX is actually delisted on that wallet, and Coinomi is asking 2 BTC for relisting us..."

And you still will support them... This is rly unpolite from coinomi and a rly strange behavior... I never used Coinomi... Zelcore, QT Wallet are fine... Maybe work with Exodus as mentioned before... ?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: October 08, 2020, 04:29:57 AM
we need to make a payment of 2 BTC
this payment is requested by Coinomi for the maintenance costs of nodes and platform, of this we have in collection fund 0.5 BTC, we are missing only 1.5 BTC.
So are the payments made periodically?
Is this what all those multicurrency wallets do? Ask for payments in order for one's coin to be supports

Sorry for the ignorance. This is all new to me. I just need some clarifications
I think this is only the case with Coinomi. I have never seen such a demand from other multi wallet operators, but that's just my guess.  Smiley

This would be interesting.... I rly dont care for coinomi... and if the are rly the only one doing this why support this?

Hallo,

ich betreibe hier keine aktive Nachforschung über die Angebote der Provider, der Beitrag lebt vom Feedback der User.
Also so aktuell wie User etwas melden.

Ist der Anbieter Insolvent? Dann nehme ich ihn mal aus der Liste raus.

Dear Devteam!

Is there any news about BTX GPU miner announcement? Now is more than a week past after BTX algo switched. Build-in miner is very slow. How can we support the project if we have no enough posibilities?

agreed - I have gotten a whole 7 blocks since 9/2

Wildrigminer will Not Support it because no Pools to Test... but without 0 config qt miner no pools...

Srbminer seems Not working on megabtx...

Nvidia trex dev will have a look...

So i think chances of gpu miner are low......... :-(

New wildrig miner with megabtx Implementation :-O

Glad to see the new wallet release. It looks good. Now the main question is:  where can I find instructions for building BTX masternodes inside the new wallet?

https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcore_btx/comments/fv9b8a/bitcore_masternode_guide/

just replace with new version (https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases/download/0.90.9.6/bitcore-x86_64-linux-gnu_no-wallet.tar.gz)

Thanks but this is Linux and I'm on Windows - the VPS section is not clear for Windows - and since now there is the Windows version of the new wallet I'd expect it to work on windows - does the MN not work without a VPS? When I try to start the MN I con't go beyond the "PRE_ENABLED" status of the MN.

At least you need a static ipv4 address...
You wanna run ur node at home? Then you need also a device with less power like a raspberry pi or something...
On a gaming/working pc its not worth running...

My PC is running all the time since I'm using it most of the time anyway and I'm staking other coins as well - so that's not an issue. As for the static IP I can use a VPN and that will make it static. Still, why can't I get over the status of  "PRE_ENABLED" MN?

the bitcored -daemon not working on windows so just using qt wallet for the node will maybe not working...  but i am not sure...  i am using raspberry pi 4 at home with linux and its working... from time to time need to change ip... thats all...

It turns out that the profitability calculator is not correct?

the calculator is calculating with old algo/network.... so it cant be correct....

networkhasrate is now about 1.03 MH/s

Is this coin mined at the GPU?

As far as I know, yes.

But no miner yet after Algo Change to megabtx
