Is this coin mined at the GPU?

As far as I know, yes.

But no miner yet after Algo Change to megabtx

Glad to see the new wallet release. It looks good. Now the main question is:  where can I find instructions for building BTX masternodes inside the new wallet?

https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcore_btx/comments/fv9b8a/bitcore_masternode_guide/

just replace with new version (https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases/download/0.90.9.6/bitcore-x86_64-linux-gnu_no-wallet.tar.gz)

Thanks but this is Linux and I'm on Windows - the VPS section is not clear for Windows - and since now there is the Windows version of the new wallet I'd expect it to work on windows - does the MN not work without a VPS? When I try to start the MN I con't go beyond the "PRE_ENABLED" status of the MN.

At least you need a static ipv4 address...
You wanna run ur node at home? Then you need also a device with less power like a raspberry pi or something...
On a gaming/working pc its not worth running...

My PC is running all the time since I'm using it most of the time anyway and I'm staking other coins as well - so that's not an issue. As for the static IP I can use a VPN and that will make it static. Still, why can't I get over the status of  "PRE_ENABLED" MN?

It turns out that the profitability calculator is not correct?

the bitcored -daemon not working on windows so just using qt wallet for the node will maybe not working...  but i am not sure...  i am using raspberry pi 4 at home with linux and its working... from time to time need to change ip... thats all...

edit:
also - I wanted to ask - how do we set how many threads/cores it uses? It is barely using 10% of my cpu processing power. I would like to know how to increase that.

also - why so many confirmations needed? my first block is at 391 of the needed 4033 confirmations - it has taken almost 20 hours to get to 391 confirmations, at this rate it will take almost 2 weeks per each block to get reward. Seems a bit long to me.

I think it was made due to very low current hashrate of Bitcore network to avoid 51% Attack. As soon as the hashrate increase devteam will decrease the number of required confirmation.

But we still wait any comments about GPU miner for new algo

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

Any instructions on how to build the qt-wallet?
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/blob/master/doc/build-unix.md

Or just download https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases/download/0.90.9.6/bitcore-x86_64-linux-gnu_qt5-dev.tar.gz and run bitcore-qt

So where is the wallet's source code?
and any build instructions?
Since https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/blob/master/doc/build-unix.md is instructions for building btc core
and https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases/download/0.90.9.6/bitcore-x86_64-linux-gnu_qt5-dev.tar.gz is precompiled?
Source code: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore
You can find build instructions and link to precompiled archive in my previous post. Or choose another one on https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases

Dear Devteam!

Is there any news about BTX GPU miner announcement? Now is more than a week past after BTX algo switched. Build-in miner is very slow. How can we support the project if we have no enough posibilities?

Wildrigminer will Not Support it because no Pools to Test... but without 0 config qt miner no pools...

Srbminer seems Not working on megabtx...

Nvidia trex dev will have a look...

So i think chances of gpu miner are low......... :-(

no matter what port I use - it rejects 99% of all shares as being too low diff

and while the miner(using wildrig) says that i "found shares" the pool still says nothing.

now wildrig is reporting that i am finding a block but pool still shows zero.

so the blocks it said I found were wrong or right? and do i need to change something?

edit - the miner is running more smoothly now but i am still curious about all those blocks it said i found - I stopped counting after 35 or so. though the miner says i am running at about 25 mh/s and the pool says 1.6 mh/s

for example i am getting this scrolling repeatedly

now its acting all goofy again - not sure if its the pool or the miner. but going to give it a break for a few days and see if any new updates come out.

we already found a block. the pool hashrate display was buggy. i tested with my pc, and displays same as the miner.

i dont know, why shows many foundblocks for you. Sad
