Can anyone advise on issue above please? I am using the  V.15 wallet and it wont sync

of which wallet?

I use the Odarhome wallet but its only version 0.90.9.6

I am using the original V.15 QT wallet for over year now.I know nothing about this Odarhome version and do not know how to use it or masternodes.I also have more than 1 wallet . dat so cannot sync them all at the same time anyway even if I was to try this Odarham version.

there are also several QT wallets for BTX - I would suggest trying a newer version, you could do one wallet.dat file at a time. Odarhome QT wallet can open each one separately. you can then alwasy decide whether to merge them/sweep them into one if you wanted to.

The issue is whether I am now on different algo or something as my version 0.015.2.2 QT wallet which is a GUI node for bitcore has stopped syncing at block 670861 and if I put wallet. dat into this odarham wallet or whatever then there will be some conflict with my wallet. dat causing coins to be lost.I want confirmation from developer as to what I need to do or whether I can continue using V.015 wallet and this sync problem can be addressed without changing version.

I need clear instructions how to sync numerous wallet .dat files if updating to this new wallet and algo to prevent coins being compromised.

yes the algo changed and your old version wallet will not sync past where the change occurred.  When I updated to the new QT wallet, all I did was download it and then opened my .dat files and I had zero issues.

If concerned about corrupting the .dat files, you could always make copies of the .dat files and put them in a different directory and try opening the copies with the newer version.

as for the developers giving you assurance, they should be along and hopefully they will answer you soon.

Thank you for your advise on matter and I have sent a pm to developer but they do not have been online since October 01.   I will wait a while to see if there is response before attempting this as I am not very adept unfortunately. Much appreciated

Get the newest wallet (...96)... backup your wallet.dat... get your privkey....
start new wallet and change "roaming folder".... restore your wallet via privkey... should solve ur problems...
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I downloaded this bootstrap and when I installed new Odarham wallet I searched %appdata% to open roaming file for wallet and delete chainstate and blocks and replaced with chainstate and blocks from bootstrap and put in my wallet .dat which synced it so it worked eventually.Thank you to all the useful advise from posters on the thread for pointing in right direction :-)

Question:  Does anyone know what daily/monthly/yearly payout in BTX coins for running 1 masternode?

simple solution - use the QT wallet and no need to pay any fees
I was away for too long and heard of the funding for coinomi's maintaining BTX on their wallet. I still have my BTX on coinomi, which is the best wallet to use from the official list guys on bitcore.cc?

I downloaded both of those wallets but here's a problem. Coinomi won't allow me to withdraw, it says the wallet is offline but my funds are safe.
How do I get it out of coinomi, what should I do? I tried withdrawing but it's not going through.

You have to use this for now: https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000009717-what-is-the-recovery-tool-and-how-do-i-export-my-private-keys-

This assumes you have your recovery phrase saved previously. The procedure is a bit cumbersome, but it works (I have used it once to get the privkeys for another coin). As soon as you get your private key, you can import it into QT (Odarhom) wallet using its debug window with command line. If your QT wallet is fully synced , you'll see your balance then.

We've added Bitcore to our multi-pool @ http://BlockMasters.co! Only 0.25% Fee's!

Choose your payout style.  We pay out in this coin, BTC, LTC, and any coin we currently have listed on the pool!  Also choose from our USA, Europe, or Asia stratum servers!

Example Config is Below for Bitcore Pay:
Code:
-a megabtx -o stratum+tcp://blockmasters.co:7066 -u 14fRSqUGSWEw3MusCKVZ1tKt8CorYwUWHP -p c=BTX

To mine only this coin use mc=BTX.  You can also only mine this coin and get paid in another coin by using c=BTC,mc=BTX as your password.
Code:
-a megabtx -o stratum+tcp://blockmasters.co:7066 -u 1JFx3fE462vMsTeYkNK5yvdWeg2wpmxvBD -p c=BTX,mc=BTX

Example Config Below to mine Bitcore & convert into BTC
Code:
-a megabtx -o stratum+tcp://blockmasters.co:7066 -u 1JFx3fE462vMsTeYkNK5yvdWeg2wpmxvBD -p c=BTC

To mine our Europe server use eu.blockmasters.co, to mine our Asia stratum use as.blockmasters.co .

We also allow party & solo mining!  Please add m=SOLO or m=PARTY.partypassword to your password in your config file!

The coins being mined are limited and fixed - how much you get depends on how many Masternodes are out there.

Where would a good place be for mining with the updated Algo ?

I don't get your question...
U need a mining location?
Or you have cheap electricity and want to know where you should place your miner @home?

Thanks!
Is this still GPU mineable? All I see for instructions is WildRig which is GPU only.
I had thought they went to a CPU heavy algo.
