Man I had my funds stolen in front of my eyes and it still hasn't been resolved since May 11th. There's no authorization email that was implemented saying that my funds was withdrawn, or any way for me to verify the withdrawal through my email. This is ridiculous.

I’m still waiting for the admin to get back to me about this but like I said in the previous email, the most that we can do is review which IP it was withdrawn from and try to prevent this from happening again. It is definitely a client-side issue, meaning that either your account info was compromised/phished from your computer or there is some sort of malicious backdoor on your computer. We take such requests very seriously and ensure that such issues are NOT due to any issues on our end for all of our players sake.

Can you try downloading a virus scanner on your computer and do a deep scan? Based on the nature of everything (given you said that you had set up 2fa), there must be some sort of unauthorized access to your computer. I’d be very careful with any financial sites you may use on that computer until you find out exactly what’s going on. If you can, PM me in SD chat the next time I’m online and we can go through some steps in real-time to figure out what the culprit was.

One thing everyone here needs to consider is that yes, you see more “negative” posts here regarding support however 90% of the support requests that I take care of in a timely manner are never displayed here. Its pretty common for people to run to post when something is considered negative to them but once they’ve been taken care of they completely forget about the request.

As support, this is very frustrating as I know just how many support requests I handle successfully yet the perception on here is that “we just don’t care”, when this is HARDLY the case. One thing I do have to say is that if we really weren’t handling any support requests in a timely manner, there would be no way that we’d still be in business 4 years after opening...I’ve stated multiple times on this thread for players to PM me on here if they needed help, yet I’ve not received a single PM since I posted such things. This shows just how “important” these requests are to the players complaining on here....figured I’d let everyone know our side of the story, or rather supports side.

Once again, if anyone has ANY need for support, please PM me here with DETAILS which I need in order to help you. Just writing “my money never showed” up WILL NOT help me help you...send me your TX ID, address, SD username, and anything else that I could use to expedited the process. Id say 90% of the support requests that take longer than expected are not due to supports side, but bc the player does not send over the details needed to handle their request on time. Doing so will significantly help me take care of the request, so please think for a few seconds and gather some info before PMing me with your support request.

Hello ! Tell me where I can get acquainted with the limitations of this platform, what are the conditions for charging and withdrawing money here ?

Im not exactly sure what you’re asking but if you are inquiring about withdrawal minimums/fees, here they are:

BTC WITHDRAWAL MIN: 0.001BTC
BTC WITHDRAWAL FEE: 0.00005BTC

XMR WITHDRAWAL MIN: 0.1XMR
XMR WITHDRAWAL FEE: FREE

BCH WITHDRAWAL MIN: 0.001BCH
BCH WITHDRAWAL FEE: 0.00005BCH

All fees are subtracted from the total you withdraw. For example if you withdraw 0.001BTC you’ll receive 0.00095BTC. So if you want a flat amount sent, be sure to add the fee to the withdrawal amount. The withdrawal fees are always static, however funds are always sent with high priority even when network fees have increased. SD will cover the rest of the fee amount in such situations. Also, there are NO MINIMUM DEPOSIT requirements for any of the coins.

I hope this answers any questions you had regarding site minimums. Furthermore, unlike most sites that allow you to invest, there are NO minimums for investing on the site. You can invest/divest as much or as little as you want, whenever you want. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. I’ll be checking BCT daily from here on out btw, so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask away!

Hi everyone,

As most of you may know, BCH has been down at SD ever since the global network update. I’m very happy to announce that the admin has finally fixed the issue causing deposits/withdrawals from not working and everything is back to normal. If you were one of the players who were waiting on your deposit to be credited to your account, you should now see it in your balance Smiley

I’m very sorry this took so long to fix, and I hope everyone’s issues have now been solved. If you still need assistance, please do not hesitate to either PM me on here or on SD chat. Thanks for everyone’s patience, and good luck to everyone!

ALSO: We have a wager contest coming up very soon with prizes attached Smiley I’ll be sure to let everyone know as soon as this starts so you have the most time possible to wager and win!

@SDMOD @SafeDice

Are you going to let us recover lost usernames and passwords? I haven't been able to connect to my account for now months ... I also sent a mail to the support many times but I didn't get any help yet.

Of course they do, I believe they already posted their support email there and you should contact them by emailing them. You can see it on a few posts above you. Btw if there is no money or no deposit at all for period of time, why dont you make a new account with a good security of course so there will be no this kind of problems occur

I know that you can email them. That's what I've done. I meant are they going to add an option on their website to recover lost passwords and account names like almost every website by simply clicking on "I lost my password/username" instead of emailing them. That was my point

Hi there,

Yes this is actually in the plans but we do have a few other features that we're trying to roll out prior to it. The only issue with recovering lost passwords is that SD offers the use of "temporary accounts" using a secret key, which is impossible to be validated other than manually through signing a message with a BTC address that was used to send to the account. Furthermore, since SD doesn't require an email to sign up for even a regular account, most would not be able to use a forgot password function. One thing we may do is set it up where you can validate your account automatically through signing a message with a BTC address used to send funds to the account. The only issue here is that since SD offers XMR and BCH as well, things can get a bit confusing.

Anyhow, this is duly noted and I will pass it along to the admin. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to PM me on here if you need assistance with getting into a past account. I'll do my best to assist you with it Smiley

Hi Safedice, i have submitted a few emails regarding my XMR deposit issue

i sent an XMR deposit and and it has been over 24+ Hours without being credited, are you able to assist? Smiley

Thank you for your time!

Safedice Name : ImSigma

Hi there,

We were having some issues with XMR deposits but it has been fixed promptly. Your funds should be in your account now Smiley sorry about the delay, and please let me know if you need further assistance with this.

Anyone else who had issues with XMR should have their funds credited to their account now!

Since we are on the topic of Monero just wondering if you guys will be supporting the Monero classic fork.

Basically there is much controversies of the algo switch and how ASICs are good for the network, many will follow the original Monero basically just like Ethereum classic.

If you don't support it, will you let people withdraw their Monero classic coins if the coin actually had some value.

Good question - I'm not sure exactly what we'll do yet, however I'll ask the admin for you to see if he has any plans for it currently. I'll definitely keep you updated when I hear back!

So we've made some wonderful updates to SafeDice recently, specifically for mobile players!

First things first, we've gotten rid of the payout and wager amount column to make way for the Bet ID column. This allows users to click on the Bet ID to see all the details about each bet, which is something that has been requested for some time now Smiley

The next feature that we decided to add for mobile users is one that has been requested time and time again: SD chat for mobile users. You should now see the minimized chat window in the bottom right corner, just like you see on the desktop version of the site! Now you can be anywhere in the world on your mobile device and still have the ability to chat with other members Smiley Below is a screenshot of what the mobile version of the site looks like with the changes made:

If you don't see the changes, make sure you clear your cache/cookies on your mobile browser so that the updated features can take effect. I know that development updates have been a bit slow in the past, however we are starting to get back into the swing of things to make SD a better place to play/invest at. If you ever have any suggestions for the site, feel free to let me know and I'll see what I can do to add the requested features should we get enough people interested.

Lastly, we have another big change in the works currently that we hope to roll out in the next week or so, which is getting Seuntjie's bot working again with SD. Stay tuned for more details on this in the next few weeks, and on behalf of SD I'd like to say thank you to everyone who continues to support SafeDice.com!

BTW: We also finally got around to updating the original BCT post in this thread with a lot of updated info - Feel free to take a look if you're interested!

Hey, I Deposited BCH into my account today and after 6 confirmations i still haven't received it in my account. The username is the same here as on safedice is you could please check.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Sorry you’ve been having issues with deposits. Our BCH and XMR nodes were down momentarily for updates, which is what most likely caused this. All deposits are now back up but there is a possibility that some transactions are still stuck. Please PM me with the details here so that I can further assist you with getting the funds credited to your account.

It would be better to send them an email to their official technical support as what SDmod had said here which I think is much faster way for you to have a response. SafeDice moderator here is not known to be responsive on the concerns made in their thread as they are often inactive or offline on during the rest of the time. Just update us here instead if they are responsive to their emails.

This are their official tech support emails. Try to reach out to them here instead.

Can we see BCH stats as well?
Hello there,

I’m actually looking into this to see if we can figure out a way to display the BCH stats on dicesites.com. Currently, only BTC and XMR are displayed, but hopefully BCH can be added soon Smiley will post here when I receive a reply/solution to this!

Also the safedice xmr wallet is still not allowing withdrawals... not even for small amounts (e.g. 0.1 xmr)

Hi there,

Sorry you’ve been having issues withdrawing with XMR. Can you please try now and let me know if it goes through? If it doesn’t, please let me know what error message you receive so I can look into it for you. Thanks for your patience and hopefully you’ve been able to withdraw already!
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: March 26, 2018, 09:44:36 PM
Why not list bustabit and bustadice on the front page?
Well bustabit isn't really a dice site. On new version of my site I made a filter so you can still show it, but unfortunately I didn't work on it for over a year. One day.. lol.

Bustadice was relatively new. I only add popular sites that have been around for a while (even though trusted Ryan is auditor on there.) However in less than 2 weeks bustadice will be 6 months old, so I just added it to frontpage Smiley

PS, on an unrelated note, there was an issue with the bitsler verifier for the game "multicolor" where I calculated the correct roll result but incorrect color/payout multiplier for specific rolls (it seems mostly roll 8-11.5); this is fixed now.

PS2, I noticed SafeDice hired a support guy, so that is great to see Smiley I will just observe for a bit more and then re-add them if it looks like their support is really improved.

NLNico,

I wanted to introduce myself to you, my name is Ethan and I'm the new Sr. Mod/Support over at SafeDice.com. I've been working with Sam, the site owner here for a few weeks now and we've been working hard to get support up to par with the sites reputation here recently. So far, things have been running smoothly and response times have been reduced significantly for both BCT posts as well as email inquiries. SD chat has picked up as well recently due to better support response times, which has increased overall trust in players Smiley I've noticed that SD has been off the DiceSites front page for a little while now, is there anything we can do to get listed back on there? A few players have been asking us about this, and I think that it would be in our best interest to work with you to be re-listed on the site. Any input on this subject (or any others) would be much appreciated, and I look forward to hopefully working with you on this!

17  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: March 26, 2018, 09:23:44 PM
Thx to everyone who posted explaining how things work  Smiley As various users on here stated, programming anything in the casinos favor beyond the set house edge would be out of their favor in the long run as it would be noticeable compared to other dice sites. Given that SafeDice has been around since 2014, most players have found that SD is not only "fair", but the reduced house edge of 0.5% compared to the industry standard is actually noticeably advantageous to the player overall.

As stated before, SD is a provably fair casino (verifiable rolls w/ seed pairs), and there is an option to set a custom client seed (by clicking "fair"f on the top menu), which I might add is an important feature to ensure that seed pairs cannot be "predetermined" in the houses favor. I would definitely recommend to all dice rollers you set your own client seed whenever possible and be very cautious of any dice sites that do not allow you to do so. In addition, you also want to make sure any sites that you play on give you the ability to verify your previous rolls once you change seeds. I actually encourage players to spot check rolls for validity every once in a while. Doing so keeps the casino in line and also gives you more confidence in the casinos that you wager your hard earned coins on. Thinking positive may very well help your gameplay/profits, and anything you can do to help in this regard is definitely in your favor Smiley
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: March 25, 2018, 06:06:50 PM
Just letting everyone know that we've been monitoring XMR deposits for the past few days and all is well Smiley You can now deposit as normal! If you have a delay with your XMR deposit, please wait a few minutes and it should go through. Thanks again for everyone's patience and please let me know if you need any support on SD.
I noticed that when btc is deposited into ur site,  it take a long while before it reflects after confirmation,  my take is that you are trying to programme the person outcome that's why u are delaying.  If you know u aint doing that,  allow btc to reflect in balance immediately after 1 confirmation

Not sure where you came up with such a theory, but this is hardly the case at all. I'm not sure how many times you've attempted to deposit funds on SD in the past but there are many times where funds are deposited within seconds after 1 confirmation. Let me try and explain how this all works:

The reason why there are times where it can take slightly longer to be credited to your account after seeing 1 confirm on a public blockchain (and by slight, I mean a few minutes afterwards) is because our Bitcoin node needs to pick up the transaction which is separate from other public blockchains. We run our own full node so that we do not have to depend on another service should they ever go down. Running a full node also makes it so that we do not have to trust another service should they be hacked/etc (which is very important for gambling sites), and coming along with this is requirement for us to download all new BTC transactions made. As this is the case, there are going to be times where 1 confirmation on whichever block explorer you checked does not coincide with our node in exact realtime since our server needs to download the new TXes constantly. This is obviously quite resource intensive in conjunction to the other resources required to run a safe and secure dice site, so we don't have it checking every second but rather periodically (by this I mean every few minutes). Another variable that can cause a slight delay in having your funds credited to your SD account are when transactions increase for whatever reason on the network. Please review the following link:

https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactions?timespan=180days

As you can see, there are some days where transaction volume on the BTC network are 3x higher than other days which can slow down the network. Lastly, just like any other running node we have a series of checks built into our system to automatically verify all transactions. All nodes build their own transaction pools. Just to give you an idea, here are just a few general checks that need to be ran for each incoming transaction:

1. The transactions syntax and data structure are correct.
2. The input and outputs have values.
3. The transaction is less than the block size of 1 MB.
4. The values must be more than 0 and less than 21 million.
5. None of the inputs have a hash that is equal to 0.
6. The locktime is less than the maximum allowed number.
7. The transaction size is greater than or equal to 100 bytes.
8. The number of signatures is less than the signature limit.
9. The unlocking script can only push numbers onto the stack.
10. The locking script must match is standard format.
11. A matching transaction must exist.
12. If a transaction is missing move the transaction to the orphan transaction pool.
13. If the transaction is a coinbase transaction then it must have a maturity of 100 confirmations.
14. For each input the output must exist and not have been spent.
15. Check that each input value is in the required range.
16. Reject if the input value is less than the output value.
17. Reject if the transaction value is to low to get into an empty block.
18. The unlocking scripts for each input must be verified against the output locking scripts.

As you can see, there are quite a bit of moving pieces when it comes to validating Bitcoin transactions and must be done for every incoming TX. Since we handle a significant amount of BTC daily, we must ensure that every transaction is verified properly the first time. Everything I've discussed here is automated and done programmatically so there isn't some person sitting there reviewing your transactions coming in. That just wouldn't be feasible or reasonable in any situation. With all of this being said, your take on SD "programming the persons outcome" just doesn't make sense. Furthermore, if this were the case we wouldn't have players winning 6+BTC in a single day...Our system is set up to be fair from beginning to end, and we have no interest in "rigging" any part of the gambling experience. After all, that's the whole point of any casino having a house edge built in, is to make things fair yet generate profit for the casino operator. After all, we (nor any other casino) are non-profit organizations.

Hopefully this dispels any misconceived "theories" you may have about why deposits can sometimes take slightly longer, and I also hope that the information I provided you above helps you understand better how transactions are handled by Bitcoin nodes. Again, I can assure you that we have no interest in figuring out the outcome of anything prior to the user playing. If you still think this is the case, there is a simple solution: Roll 5 or more times with no wager, then change the server seed and change the client seed manually to anything you'd like. You can easily validate the rolls once you change your seed again as the previously used server seed will be revealed to you by clicking on any bet ID from that set. We are indeed a provably fair gambling site, so every roll can be validated which requires the server seed along with the client seed. Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions about this subject  Smiley

Also, forgot to post details on this the other day:

We had a player win 3.42BTC with a 29BTC wager! The bet was placed on a 89% chance (1.11x) - Figured some would find this interesting as it was high stakes and the player luckily hit GREEN! Details on the bet posted below:

Notice how the house edge was still at 0.5% even with such a high wager amount! We offer one of the highest dice wager/profit limits by utilizing a variable house edge on larger bets. The multiplier and wager amount are factored into calculating the edge which doesn't increase from 0.5% until the upper limits. You can view the house edge at all times in realtime (below the payout box), just enter the desired bet amount and win chance/payout Smiley

Keep the greens coming, and I wish you much luck at SD!

Thanks to everyone who has been participating in the giveaways/contests that we've been running! Still have one contest running for 0.05XMR - You just need to hit 77.7x and post your bet in SD chat Smiley Must wager at least 100 sats/0.001xmr/0.00001bch for the bet to qualify, and must be from a registered SD account (one with a password set). Will post the winner here once someone hits it. Good luck everyone!
