1781  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ore-Mine.org topic locked. on: January 17, 2016, 10:08:10 PM
I just heard about this from this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1330263.msg13577473#msg13577473

This is not looking good for the price as casualties keep rising and it is just half way into the first month of the year.
Thought ore-mine would of lasted longer than this. It was/is a Ponzi scheme after all but some say they got roi in 3 months  Wink
1782  Economy / Speculation / Re: DO NOT SELL - 15.01 dip in price explained for beginners on: January 17, 2016, 05:37:26 PM
Price has dropped to $359 today, why not sell? I will sell if I feel if the pressure to too much to bear to hold these worthless coins that I bought for $100 more 2 months ago  Undecided

If you are okay with taking such a big loss, go ahead and do it.
If you can stomach some more volatility, why not wait till the block reward halving takes place?
Who can guarantee this from happening? There is not some golden rule that this process will reap the reward of a huge spike. As you mentioned it is volatile. Meaning it can go either up or down, in a drastic fashion.

Thanks for motivating us. It is really a hard time for all of us as most of the users here most have bought coins for a higher price and some cannot afford their loses. It's actually a time when all should be encourages and I'm waiting for one positive news about bitcoin prices. Halving is a long wait but now if the prices fall below $300, not many of us would have any hope left.
At this time I don't have much hope for it right now. Hearn really fudded our expectations of a good year for 2016 being the year of  Roll Eyes  BTC  Roll Eyes
1783  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetBTC - Bitcoin Sports Betting | More Sports | Instant Payments | Like Betfair on: January 16, 2016, 05:28:00 PM
Hi I am a new user at Bet BTC
How mauch confirmation is required for a deposit to an account ?
I just make a deposit and a few minutes the game started I'm afraid too late to place a bet  Smiley
It would depend on the amount you deposited. If it is less than 0.01btc then it will take longer. If it is greater than 0.01btc then it takes 2 or 3 confirmations to reach your betbtc account.
1784  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise again on: January 16, 2016, 05:26:14 PM
Somebody wake me up when this nightmare is over please  Sad
It has not increased in the last 24 hours and looks to continue to drop in value every hour.
I can not see it rising until this dreadful month is over.  Undecided
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price is below 400$, What next? on: January 16, 2016, 03:58:15 AM
I don't think it will go any lower than $380. most people seem to think that this is a perfect buying opportunity because some stuff have been settled. I personally agree with them.
It has gone below that mark and falling faster than you can swing a stick at.
Oh dismal days are back again. Light at the end of the tunnel if you sold and not holding right now.

Come on now. Get real with this  Angry

There is turmoil in the ether and people are holding right now to what they got so no selling going on.
This drives the price downwards. Give it a week it will be back to $400 before you know it.
Just have faith. First get the Cryptsy thing out of the way first  then we will be gold again Cheesy
1788  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2016, 09:09:20 PM
Gambling with bitcoin is the worst mistake.
You don't know how much you are putting at risk with the stake you are putting at the table so don't realize how much you are putting at risk in the first place  Lips sealed

1790  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need $15 PayPal for my Bitcoin. on: January 15, 2016, 05:30:25 AM
I can do this for 18% which ever you prefer since I have never traded with you before.

I am confused, so I pay $15 worth of bitcoin + 18% for your $15 PayPal?
No. 18% of going rate from whatever exchange you want to use. Just multiply that amount by 18% and add that on top of it. Member who offered you +5 on top of that rate(1:1) has the right idea  Undecided
But he is taking a risk trading with no previous feedback and high chance of chargeback for only 5%  Roll Eyes

and you don't have previous trades. Paypal is almost impossible to do deal with here without it.
1792  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: January 15, 2016, 05:11:43 AM
It is very safe as the price is quite stable now and it won't suddenly drop in the near future. It is also going to shoot up soon.
It is surely going to shoot up soon. But buy now for it dropped all suddenly but looks like it is rebounding now. It was going to happen as this happens every start of the new year.
It is coming up slowly now so now is the time to buy that 1 bitcoin and watch it rise for the rest of the year!  Grin
1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet buying bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 12:42:31 AM
That is highly unlikely as he has publicly separated himself to have anything to do with it and said it will not last so do not invest or put anything towards it's growth.
He does not see it as a viable currency or have a future.
Narrow minded thinking.
1794  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] 40$ in bitcoins [W] Paypal on: January 13, 2016, 01:25:54 PM

We have done this transaction before in the past without any difficulties.

1795  Economy / Digital goods / Re: wtb Jr mem acc for a neg trust full mem on: January 13, 2016, 12:42:15 PM
This does not make sense.  Huh
Why would anybody give you a clear jr. member account for a negative one?
Unless you are offering on top of it such as extra btc or steam account I don't see this happening.
1796  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have btc - need pm on: January 13, 2016, 12:28:26 PM
I could do this for you just pm with how much btc you have to sell and the rate of course and we can work on an agreeable condition from there.  Smiley
Awaiting your response.
1797  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for .5 BTC Loan Will Repay .55 BTC 3-7 Day on: January 13, 2016, 06:21:00 AM
Would January 14th at midnight be to late for you so I can fund you the amount you need?
Let me know if I can be of service to you.

1799  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 1 BTC on: January 13, 2016, 03:09:13 AM
Do NOT go first with the this user. No one ever listens. You will get scammed. Nothing is forcing him to pay you after you go first, he can just make another account and start a new thread to get more money. That's considering he actually has some money. Use escrow if you want to see your money, if not consider it a donation.
I have dealt with these kind of deals before and I do not go first with them. Seeing he is just 2 posts on this forum does not make him a credible individual for anyone here to deal with.
I am asking for small amount and can risk only that amount that I have mentioned.
1800  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Play the Billion dollar Powerball with Bitcoin! on: January 13, 2016, 03:07:01 AM
I have seen this advertised on a website already with another deposit address to send $10 worth of bitcoins too so you can be on a list if the numbers win. That website had 4 people on there already.
There is not legal agreement saying that he will pay you if the numbers win.  Tongue
