1662  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Robertt scammed me for 0.2BTC on: February 24, 2016, 01:40:57 AM
I had a feeling this user was going to scam someone sooner or later.
He put up threads in the trade exchange section recently that seemed odd to me.

1665  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 23, 2016, 08:40:52 PM
i think we must stop this discussion, everyday i found people says both of them is good
why not open the pool ? then lock this thread?

That's bitcointalk life. Just deal with it or it might affect you too.

Its very good to invest right now because of the halving is coming, so if you invest now you can make profit by it.
Its also that if you save money it can be good but you will make less more profit than if you invest in the bitcoin.

Learn the art of buying everytime the bitcoin price dip. If you hold then you already make a profit don't be greedy to take out more. Set another line of buying price everytime the price dip.

It's not all about the halving. You can make profit even when there's no halving that will occur.
I find this solid advice. Being too greedy does not help but impedes you from advancing to where you should be in saving.

1669  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: February 22, 2016, 11:33:15 PM
It America is so great, then to whom is it in debt to? That's curious. Or are they in debt amongst themselves? Which would be the funniest thing ever.

They issue debt, in the form of T-bills, which others can buy.  The two biggest are actually China and Japan.  If you have mutual funds, you most likely have some in your portfolio as it's viewed as a very safe investment.
Everybody knows that America is in debt to China because they borrowed so much from them and has not paid them back yet from previous debts yet.
Will they ever pay them back? I very much doubt it. Undecided

Unfortunately lost one bet last night.
Still have faith that Barcelona will win it for me as I put most of my btc on them.

I think I won your bets  Grin
Yeah you probably did  Cheesy
I bet on Colorado to beat Vancouver at hockey in NHL, small wager of 0.001btc and today Napoli to beat AC Milan but they both lost.
1671  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: February 22, 2016, 09:18:48 PM
It is has not failed. Would you say the same about the UK about it talking about leaving the Euro zone?
It might be a misguided nation but not a failure.
1672  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying btc with PP on: February 22, 2016, 09:14:18 PM
You are wanting a small amount but small amount to some is large amount to others here.
What amount are you asking to purchase? 0.01btc or 0.4btc?
Please send specifics.

1675  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have BTC and need $200+ PayPal (No fees) on: February 22, 2016, 07:37:59 AM
0.35 left.

I have US$114 in namecheap funds which can be withdrawn to any paypal account. It's not immediate, it takes 24-48h but it's also non-reversible (AFAIK). Let me know if interested (if you don't need the funds urgently).

0.26 sound good? Send me your BTC address.
Have anything left of that for sale? Looking to buy at your rate.
Send me a pm if you still need to sell.
Thank you.

Mixan

Sorry, can't do it. Only dealing with those who have a strong trade history here.

0.35 remaining until tomorrow.
Having 12+ successful trades using paypal is not strong enough for 0.35btc?
Ok then - you won't have a problem selling to another.

1678  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 22, 2016, 06:37:40 AM
this time it's better to save bitcoin that you have, because the current bitcoin prices are rising, and probably will last at $ 500  Grin

The price has been dropping by $10 since you posted this post so that means there isnt any guarantee that the price will keep on rising . The ride has stop and now the price has stabilize so perhaps in the next few days the price will be staying as it is, either way saving or investing in btc is just a same action with different logic though
This will happen til the end of bitcoin if that ever happens  Roll Eyes
There will always be unstability in the market no matter what currency you are talking about.
You just have to roll with it and take it as it comes.
$10 difference in the price isn't going to make or break anyone in this current market.

I like your system and the games offered are fairly wagered now with over 170+ users placing bets.
Placed two bets for tonight, so am hoping for wins on those.
Just needing Barcelona to pull out a win for the following day to say it was a good week for me. Wink
1680  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: February 21, 2016, 11:14:09 PM
Bitcoin will coexist with fiat for long time. It will not replace the fiats any time soon. It takes time for bitcoin to be popular.

Correct. Bitcoin needs fiat, while fiat can do without bitcoin.
Which is not bad, since you need fiat too for gold and other assets. There is no real competion between the two in my perception.
Bitcoin is not ready to venture out on its own yet. It will rely on other currencies until it has become more widely used and accepted to be a viable solution for people to use it in the first place. The volatility is there and that turns people off to it.
To me cash/gold is king, for now.
