1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There are some indispensable things that new traders need to know. on: November 15, 2018, 08:08:17 AM
Please read all steps carefully and

Let me know if I made any mistakes

and very sorry. Cause I can't add any picture for good attraction  Sad

Pictures are not really important. The written content is what counts the most, and you covered all the basics of trading especially for a newbies who is starting up.

If you are really interested in it though you can check out this thread Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images.
Alternatively with quality posts you'd earn merist and with the required activity you'd become a Jr member and would be able to post images.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM are prone to fraud on: November 15, 2018, 07:59:44 AM
ATMs can help scammers because it is easy to use so victims can buy them more easily. Much better than setting up an account with coinbase and waiting ages for approval

I don't quite understand what you are trying to say.
Victims of what exactly?
Bitcoin ATMs are connected to an exchange and of course you credit card links it to your bank account. That's an identity that is traceable back to you.
They are not yet widespread and  most developing countries are yet to get them as yet.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: What occurs BTC falling down again? on: November 14, 2018, 07:41:38 PM
Some of the analysts say they do not expect the bitcoin price to find a floor until the second quarter of 2019, meaning that the market could face another seven months of downward pressure before conditions improve. So the BTC’s nearest future is not as bright as we would like it to be. What's more, NVTS (Bitcoin network valuation divided by transaction value) is broken below its support level, which is a classic sell signal.  So for now we'll have to observe just how it goes.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is falling !! on: November 14, 2018, 07:30:39 PM
A stable currency is a tether, as well as a dollar. And bitcoin is really a speculative tool.

I would not bank on tether as a stable currency in any thing but name.
Bitcoin is of cause determined by market forces if demand and supply and such actions are influenced by a lot of factors.

I would not call this situation a massive crash but we are in territories we have not been in for a while.
I would expect corrections in the market soon.
5  Other / Meta / Re: Account compromised on: November 13, 2018, 06:16:04 PM
Did you stake your bitcointalk address on this thread; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.0 using a signed message?
Then you should message Cyrus or Theymos with certain information as detailed in this thread; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

It usually takes a while, so you would have to wait in line. You should also provide proof on this thread so a DT can leave a negative feedback in the account to limit the activities of the hacker and warn other users.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Need To Put Your Emotion in Trading ? on: November 13, 2018, 05:58:36 PM
It is utterly impossible to trade without emotions. And emotional trading is a recipe for failure, so a good trader should learn the art of training themselves mentally and reducing the effects of emotions on their decisions to the bearest minimum.

It's not about what you want the market to do, it's about what you have analysed that could happen based on available tools and guides.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2013 and 2018 on: November 12, 2018, 08:02:00 PM
2013 and 2018 are huge contrasts in bitcoin's dynamis and growth.
2013 and 2017 were very much similar in about every aspect.
The peak of butcoin which was reached in 2013 was not matched until 2017 and the price soared so high and that peak has not been matched till date.

2018 has been a very slow, stable year with more sustained prices.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever exist in currency notes? on: November 12, 2018, 07:54:14 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency which fuels the blockchain technology and is the custom countries which can be transferred through it.

Having as a bank note is retrogressive and unnecessary.
It can of course be stored in hardware wallets which is offline.
The world is gradually  rapidly moving towards a cashless society, we can't be going in the opposite direction
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will we have a good Bitcoin Black Friday this year? on: November 11, 2018, 06:00:39 PM
I believe the sentiments shared by most would be to Hodl their bitcoins.
There are lots of differences between last year and this current market.

When expenses call for it, and you find a good deal, of course I would if bitcoin is a payment option.
I would take a green Friday to a black Friday any time.
20% profit looks better than a 20% discount.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SOS-Childrensvillages (NGO) accepts bitcoin (and altcoin) donations on: November 10, 2018, 01:09:19 PM
Bitcoin as a donation has been accepted by various organizations for years now.
It has actual value, it is fast, convenient and borderless. And it provides anonymity to the donator.

This sort of news is always welcome as it puts bitcoin in a bit of good light. Not like it is a point on the score board, but people associate fraud and illegal activities to bitcoin.
This humanitarian service can also be associated with it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favourite oxymoron? on: November 10, 2018, 12:50:46 PM
Bitcoin community, it seems to be constantly confused with bitcointalk community.

While the former represents the entire bitcoin space, with notable contributions from individuals to the core development process.

The latter is restricted to the forum and parameters used to judge users here.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will SEC approve BITCOIN ETF ? on: November 09, 2018, 03:31:34 PM
Bitcoin ETF approval does not automatically translate to a bull run for all cryptocurrencies. The market is largely unpredictable.
But a piece of supposed good news is very welcome and if it's well received by institutional investors, the price would surely surge.
I don't know if it would be a sustained pump.

With the series of rejections I am not too optimistic about the chances of acceptance. And for good reason.
The problem of possible manipulations and centralization is not to be taken lightly.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be replace by ALTS in the future? on: November 09, 2018, 03:27:28 PM
Bear in mind that altcoins is not a currency, but a general term used to describe all other coins apart from bitcoin.
So the remaining 2092 coins share less than 50% of the market.

New coins come out everyday, some shitcoins and some gems.
The ever expanding market means bitcoin's dominance would reduce without direct loss of investments.
14  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I want to buy BTC in Dubai on: November 07, 2018, 10:20:14 PM
Face to face transactions are very risky and if you must do it. Then take necessary precautions and safety measures.
You wouldn't just want the recommendations of anyone.
I would advise you do a little research, probably someone who has bought or sold in person successfully.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the rise of immersive technologies increase the popularity of Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2018, 10:17:37 PM
I think bitcoin is past the skepticism around it's survival, we recently passed the ten year anniversary if the bitcoin whitepaper and it has grown and matured as a currency over that time.

I invested in crypto late 2017 and just don't feel like selling currently  Undecided

Well no one would want to sell for a loss.
It's rather unlucky you bought at the peak.
But there is so much potential for growth, but you have to Hodl to benefit.
16  Other / Meta / Re: These turds look like they are group spamming the same crap on: November 07, 2018, 08:12:51 AM
Please re-read then try again.

Your mum jokes are irrelevant given the fact their post history proves all 3 are  pumping the same shit icos over and over.

You are missing the point entirely.

They are not spamming sharding. They are using any discussion they can think of to join together to collude and spam the same ico's

Regardless, you always have the option to report to moderator and their posts would likely be deleted or thrashed.
Or if you feel any stricter penalty is needed you can make a post on meta just as you did.
Joining the spam on the thread is not one of the ways to handle the situation.
17  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] Add Warning Message ---> Please, search before starting a new topic on: November 06, 2018, 10:38:54 PM
It would sure improve awareness as most of the forum users are not aware of the risks available to them. And reminding users to search could maybe help reduce redundant topics.

Toggling between forum search and Google Search could help hit a more accurate feedback.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need bitcoin control? on: November 06, 2018, 10:18:29 PM
I don't see why every country would develop it's own custom cryptocurrency.
The block ledger technology can be adopted and modified to function in various sectors.

And the creation of new cryptocurrencies does not really directly affect bitcoin or it's decentralization. Nor would it give authorities control over the digital currency market.
19  Other / Meta / Re: Continuous Bumping for Long Time | Report to mod? on: November 05, 2018, 01:28:12 PM
However @ OP , you can try by reporting single reply. If mod take action then report others reply. I did same thing sometimes. If marked unhandled then I avoid further report on similar case.
I still can't see stats of report. I have reported already. Let me see what happened. I will update if the thread/post get deleted.

Try clicking report to moderator for another post (not necessarily a post you plan on reporting)
You would get the stats of your previous reports and your percentage accuracy.
It usually takes a while and you can be correct while the issue is not yet handled.
20  Other / Meta / Re: Shame on Administrator of Bitcointalk on: November 05, 2018, 01:21:57 PM
Well I doubt this rant would enable you get your account back any faster.
I believe there's a long line of users whose accounts were hacked (or supposedly hacked) who are waiting to be it recovered.

The system might be automated soon but for now, lots of things run very slowly.
Best to wait a feedback and as has already been stated post the signed account so DTs can leave a red trust in it to limit the activities of the hacker and warn other users.
