321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and rejected on: August 25, 2020, 11:10:26 AM
Just the same in our country. You are free to use bitcoin and cryptocurrency and can cash out in local money tax free but i don't know if how long it will last that the government will not regulate it or ban it because of scammers around that using crypto to scam people like ponzi scheme. Many people not afraid of the government even if they are punished by doing such evil things to their fellow country men.

I also have the same situation here in my country. Now that cryptocurrency is getting more known, many took this advantage to deceive others and I am afraid because they are giving the crypto a bad image to the eyes of the authority.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: key safety strategies? on: August 24, 2020, 02:49:04 PM
This key safety is among the many struggle of crypto enthusiasts. It is important to choose storage that are surely trusted but never get too assured and comfortable about these storage because it is also better if you know it by yourself.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam victims on: August 24, 2020, 02:17:46 PM
I feel so sorry for you man. I really am. Because I think there really is too little of a chance (if there is any) for you to be able to get back all those losses. This is because I too learned the hard way. It just so happened that I am lucky enough to not lose as much as what you have lost plus loans. That's why I really wish everyone who are just about to enter this industry would really put in the effort to do a thorough research about this industry. Because things like these happening only make the crypto currency industry look bad for the general public. Im not saying literally that you didn't do enough research because in some cases people just get caught off guard but you really should have been cautious. I hope others may learn from your story and be cautious about everything in this industry. Because it never hurts to be too cautious. Id rather be called paranoid than to lose my assets again.

Very well said. As I always tell those who are telling me that they want to start investing with cryptocurrency, always DOUBT everything first. In that way, you will investigate everything first before proceeding to any decisions. After all, it's better to be safe than sorry. As per the recovery of your losses, I do not think that it will really be possible to get them back.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoins before the upcoming banking crisis states author of Rich Dad Poor D on: August 24, 2020, 01:19:57 PM

a good choice if we bought bitcoin before the bank was in really bad shape. if the bank experiences a downturn and the dollar price is getting lower, bitcoin will experience a very high price increase. investors will hunt bitcoin, if this happens then our opportunity to buy bitcoin at a low price will not meet again.
a person who has held a very large amount of bitcoin at this point is getting ready to become the very lucky person in the crypto world.

What you are saying right now is really making sense. During this pandemic, people are constantly using their assets to sustain their needs and making investment is a big question since there is a global crisis, where economy are mostly down. That is why Bitcoin is what seen as the optimal alternative for the many.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for thesis? on: August 22, 2020, 03:25:22 PM
This would be good way to spread awareness and more knowledge about bitcoin. It would be a nice study to make and to share as well to other people like professors, friends, colleagues for them to understand deeper what is bitcoin and how it could play a huge factor on their chosen career, field, or investment.

Using bitcoin as a subject for thesis could contribute greatly on spreading bitcoin cryptocurrency awareness since many people don’t know what even bitcoin is and has A LOT of misconceptions about it. Majority doesn’t even know its advantages and uses. This study would be beneficial specially for those who want to learn and have a gist of what nature it have and how to utilize it. After all, i think bitcoin would be widely used in the future for transactions and many more.

Who knows, this study could pave a way for the government and other community to take a look at it and see what it offers. In that way, our community would benefit as well.

I agree. And the fact that when making a thesis, evidences and facts are collected, when it is finished and successfully defended then it will be easier to present it to the public. Because it is a study that came from a thorough investigation, people would be more interested to entertain it, to know its content.
326  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: August 21, 2020, 01:27:39 PM
Creation of ANN thread is not mandatory or some kind of requirement yet, it is necessary not just for promotional purposes but also to establish an engagement with the community. ANN thread can help in answering concerns and receiving suggestions.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: August 21, 2020, 12:22:05 PM
I am one of the persons that looking forward to see it in person. The new ideas is great , can we know what kind of gambling games is already available to play?  I cant imagine how gamblers will play it using VR.

Exactly, we should see it in person to know how good it is. I always support new ideas but I like to see in reality how it works. There will be some gamblers who will not be so delighted with such idea and, yes, it's hard to imagine how the playing using VR would look like. Although we should give it a try

Indeed. Presenting a unique and interesting idea is one thing, but the execution and operation of the ideas is crucial to put it into reality. I am really looking forward for this concept, who knows it might become a new trend.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Restaurant convert entire savings to Bitcoin on: August 20, 2020, 02:44:00 PM
Smart move. The conversion of their fiat currency into bitcoin is the most bussiness driven decision they have made. They only insured the future of their business as there is no certainty on t he resultant effect of the money printing of the government. At leas they know the exact number of bitcoin they have in ther wallet irrespective of the volatility.
This move can also backfire on the owners as they have brought bitcoin in a period of pump and if the price dumps, which it definitely will, then a lot of their savings will be washed off. I guess, they should have waited for the pump to finish and the market to go down again for getting a good deal, taking bitcoins at an inflated price is not at all a good move to be honest, they should have planned their entry point very well.
Although it is a great initiative and a big leap of faith taken by the restaurant owners to convert their entire savings into bitcoins, I just hope they don't regret it in the short term when the price falls again below $10k, but in the long run they will definitely enjoy watching their investment grow.

Indeed. Maybe this is what they have seen as their last chance to get by and maximize their savings, through gaining profits in the crypto world. Hospitality industry is among the most affected industries during this pandemic, many had huge losses and there are also businesses which declared bankruptcy. This a good contingency plan but it should have been thoroughly planned as they may lose everything if mistakes are not anticipated.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 20, 2020, 01:22:25 PM
In every business there's always scammers who are on the lookout and waiting for the opportunity to attack, specially if the business is popular it will increasingly attract fraudsters. Same with crytpo world it's because cryptocurrency is gradually being received and used by people all over the world that's why scammers want to make it an instrument to deceive people. At first the people they fooled will talk negatively about bitcoin specially when there's a huge amount involved, but if they look closely at how they were fooled maybe they will know that bitcoin is not a scam but the people who use it's name, and many will still prove that bitcoin is real and not scam.

That is true. It is what people do not realized immediately, that Bitcoin is just being dragged into these illicit acts and just involved because it was used as an instrument and commodity to the intention that was done to them.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sports Industry taking over the Crypto space on: August 19, 2020, 11:32:48 AM
Anyone here heard about Chilliz and the partnerships they have been signing recently. I beleive the sport industry is going to take over the crypto space sooner or later because i see a great movement in what they are building. They have signed partnership with so many big Footbal clubs and i am so excited with what they are building.
Brother, it is other way around, blockchain technology and crypto is taking over all the industries and sectors among which sports is also one of them. Slowly but surely crypto will be adopted everywhere and we will see it in our everyday life more and more.

I get your point and I agree with you. Surely, sports industry has been all over the crypto space for some time now. Yes, it got attention of many enthusiasts of different sports into engaging with cryptocurrencies but I do not think that sports industry will be taking over here. As commented earlier, there many projects sponsored by sports industry which just failed. And I believe crypto will be taking over across different industries, in time.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: August 19, 2020, 08:49:59 AM
Absolutely! Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has a lot of great features that could really help people especially in this severe crisis. If only everybody in the world believes and trust it's usage and the benefits that it brought to us,  then probably the spread of virus can be lessened and the world's economy will never drop at its worst.

Not all of the people would be interested in such.

We can't push them to like and learn to use Bitcoin, a lot of people are even thinking that it is a scam despite the years it is pumping. We never know when will they ride the wave, all they know is that they heard it first as a scam, and that's all there is. Still, there are other ways to pay online. They will not be thinking about Bitcoin first.

Indeed. That is why they need to learn about these misconceptions about Bitcoin, enabling them to learn is one way to correct their thoughts and to provide some new visions to them. Although, that doesn't really ensure their thoughts and interest would change, but it is a way to make a difference. As I can see, during this pandemic, lots of people have started thinking and really engaging with Bitcoin despite their ignorance about it before.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi tokens - do they have a real value? on: August 18, 2020, 03:51:58 PM
Hi guys,

I would like to share with you my idea about all DeFi tokens. I am little bit confused what is the real value of all DeFi tokens. If I think about it, their are now valuable because there is a hype around all DeFi protocols, a lot of buyers, less sellers.

If they don't then they will not be recording such huge profit as they're. The likes of $Link can be used as a case study. I think I don't have to go into all the details since it's quite obvious from the contribution above, that area have been covered. Although most project are taking advantage of the hype to decieve Investors into patronizing their projects still there are great ones out there that would be big in future.

I believe one of the ways to stay safe in this hype is not to rush into anyone out there but take your time to research further in understanding it. I know because I have fallen a victim not too long ago.

I agree. As we see DeFi projects are prospering right now because people, who are following the trend in the market, are hyping this up. Maybe this is their way of coping up in the crypto world. They see prices going up, without hesitation even with no proper research, they would dive in. In time, we'll see what would be the end of it all or if what will end of it.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea and Australia, they are bitcoin pro on: August 18, 2020, 03:07:35 PM
There are really countries that are leading when it comes to crypto adoption and I think if it shows a good response to the people in these countries, others will follow. And we have already heard various news for crypto in South Korea and it's really great.  One of their advantages is the country is already technologically advanced that's why we can see more adoption.

It's really nice to see other countries being positive towards crypto because it's a step to achieve mass adoption. I just hope that after some years, more countries will also follow Korea and Australia.
It is because they know how could this technology gives them a satisfying result out from negativity they've heard. Those leaders have good insights and they don't want to be left behind while the others are already adopting it.

Soth Korea and Australia's leaders have further to see what could be happening in the future and how Bitcoin being potential. Not only it gains trust but people see this as a big opportunity for them to make money despite the big challenge aside from being used as a payment option.

I think that mass adoption would be possible if leaders who are bold enough to make such movement, following their visions, would encourage their supporters to do so. In this time, where people are somehow reliant with the opinion and beliefs of their idols, they can be influenced through endorsements. Bitcoin has so much to offer to our future and I hope people would start to realize this soon.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin casinos to surge in German market? on: August 17, 2020, 04:24:38 PM
If Bitcoin along with other cryptocurrencies will be allowed to be used in casino sites in Germany, this will be a good thing for the entirety of crypto world because demand will rise. Although, I see the dilemma being interfered by the government, their decision would be the determinant if Bitcoin casino will be prospering the country.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: August 17, 2020, 03:54:29 PM
One of my biggest regret here in the crypto world is when I was too complacent during the golden years of Bitcoin and I was not able to maximize the opprtunity that I got. Now, I am still hoping and waiting for another abundant year here in crypto world.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid crisis & evolving phases on: August 17, 2020, 03:14:49 PM
As the covid crisis is evolving step-by-step, started as a health crisis it is bending towards economic crisis which is showing an elevation from physical to digital.
Does Coronavirus pandemic will permanently change consumer behaviour towards digital currency?  Huh

YES! During these Covid Pandemic, we are forced to do every transaction online. Order food, clothes, services, etc online.
which leads payment to be made thru online banking transfer , online wallet transfer and accepting cryptocurrencies is also being made an option as well.

I certainly agree with you. Every transactions now are encouraged to be made online. And these past few months, I have seen people on my social media platforms that started to get interested with cryptocurrencies because of remote working system and home quarantine they decided to try and explore it.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think the house can counter your strategy? on: August 16, 2020, 02:21:22 PM
There is no point for them to counter your strategy.

We all know that there is no strategy that can actually defeat the casinos, its been a long time and I don't think there is a strategy that can actually beat the system of these casinos. These strategies are our ways of increasing the percentage of us not losing the game, for example martingale though this strat increases the risk despite that.

I certainly have the same though as yours. Some also said that the house would make adjustments once a player's strategy is found out, possibly I think. But the house would only do such if your winnings result great impact to the entire casino. Although, I thought that maybe if the casino is really fair they won't do such thing.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fortnite Betting? on: August 16, 2020, 01:12:23 PM
I think Fortnite Betting is too impossible. It is simply just a rip-off from many shooting games such as CSGO and PUBG, only made different by planting walls and stairs made from resources on the map. I don't play the game as I found it not that addicting nor strategic at all, especially if you were looking for games that requires a good team play. Hence, I don't see it fit to be bet nor to have a good gambling market.
While some says Fortnite is much better as it's suitable to all age and clearer graphics than Pubg, there are some charts in google that tallies their popularity too but for sure it will depend on what player prefers to play. Betting part will happen when there will be maybe a set of groups or target audience or bettor, they will sure make research whenever that happens as many where into Mobile legends  and Dota betting than this 2.

I don't think Fortnite will win in popularity against other games. I guess its not that popular in my country. It sure became popular years ago but no streamers now in my country are still into Fortnite. Dota 2, moblie legends, pubg are the most streamed games here. I don't in any other country as well. Is popularity a need for an esports to really be included in the olympics? Well I think so.

I understand your view point. I must say that the popularity of Fortnite is not that absolute to everyone. Some really likes it, some do not. But I do agree that Esports should be taken into consideration on being part of the Olympics or some huge competition since during this "new normal" people are much inclined with online activities. However, when it comes to betting, I think that the Esports game involve should be popular and being participated by the many. As mentioned, Mobile Legends and Dota are some examples of popular games worldwide.
