First of all - you are in the wrong thread. Second - I wouldn't be that optimistic about these numbers. I read through this briefly: 95+% of changes there are 1) automatic code cleanup made by IDE and 2) a copy-paste of updated bitcoin code. The meaningful part is hard to derive from that mess. Yep~ I suddenly realize that i've seen any other crypto currency come here to advertise itself for a long time. There were even some competitors which had their own white paper~ But, where are they now? The only thing that never change all the way is WE Survive and our community become more stronger, more talent people join in our Great Dev-team, and continuing merchant/service adoption. The most important is: After several major innovation, The Darkcoin Project is closest to perfection. If you take 1drk for 100drk , the owner of that 100drk only be making .7 dark a month average. Which seens to be too low until masternodes payment reach to 60%. Making statements like this without knowing what is actually happening is irresponsible to say the least. Maybe some of my current clients will chime in. And they can let you know how I am ripping people off with high fee's. I hardly think that $1.10 to $2.00 in escrow fee a month is a high fee and Flare's fee of approx $0.90 per 100DRK for the server is high Well, i just got 2MN setup with flare which cost around 7.5DRK. So it is 3.75 drk ech. And if you add 1drk for 100drk , it comes up to close 14drk a month for whole 1000drk block. Considering .57drk average payment, 1000drk will return 17drk a month and eachso each 100 share will get back .7drk - I am not calling anything or saying that your are a bad person. But at that point, it is not appealing to be a art of masternode. I am entitled to have my opinion and I know what is actually hapenning. I am with flare too but mangled is running a different service, so you can not compare the 2 in price, as mangled (with his shared services) has much more work to do (find people for 1, escrow in and out, share the payouts,...) than flare who sets up 1 and no fuzz done ! They are both doing a great job ! Different Services, different fee Truth as well. The communication between shareholders takes quite much time and all work too TBH. |

Change log for this version? I can't seem to find any info over at darkcointalk. Am I the only one who gets nervous when a download link is only provided on BCT? I always feel better when I see the update info on both BCT and DCT so that I know ED's BCT account wasn't hacked and linking to a virus. The Spreadcoin dev is reviewing the Darkcoin code and just posted this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=715435.msg9839488#msg9839488Mr.spread,what's status of masternode and darksend developmnet?
It is far from ready yet but I think I found a potential vulnerability in DarkCoin which allows miners (actually pools) to not pay part of the block reward to masternodes. DarkCoin wallet checks the following things for each new block: 1) There is a payment to master node. 2) There is a payment with the same amount as a payment to master node should be (30%). But there is no check that this is the same payment. This means that if you generate a block you can pay 0.0000001 DRK to masternode and pay 30% and (70% - 0.0000001 DRK) to yourself as separate coinbase outputs. Such blocks should be accepted by DarkCoin network but I haven't tested it on testnet so I can't be 100% sure. I don't want any vulnerabilities out the wild so thought I'd check here. This is what happens when "Enforcement" is off, right? Or is this a separate issue and potential vulnerability? Is the Darkcoin web wallet http://darkcoin-e.com/ a scam ? One of our employees deposited 1 DRK to test it but was unable to withdraw. It's stuck on "processing" for several days and no replies to e-mails. It's high on Google search, right after the official wallet. Yes it is a scam. Ok now I got the new address 0 and dumppriv key as well as it is encrypted it and saved the wallet.dat backup. So how can I just dump the address to another wallet (just the address, not the wallet.dat) ?
And how do I get this to a cold wallet?
Assuming you are using the QT client, Help > Debug window > Console > type 'importprivkey privkey' and wait a few seconds. How can I import my MN wallet to a newly created darkcoin wallet instance? Do I have to replace the wallet.dat? or anyways I can import the keys from the original wallet and import it to a new wallet? is there any guide for this? I looked for it but could not find anything.
check if your pc is malware free create new wallet address (when offline it`s better - more secure) dumpprivkey <you_new_address> (print it) encrypt it - you will be requested to turn off the client - do it. (storage wallet.dat in a couple of places) DONE on your wallet with 1000 input go to console and write: walletpassphrase passphrase 300 send coins on new created address OR enter on you existent wallet with your coins. console --> getnewaddress 0 --> listaddressgroupings --> find newly created wallet --> send all coins on new created one --> coldstorage it & dumpprivkey of it. hope you were looking for it. |
