Well about the logo or banner, it would be best if eveyrone gives out some ideas. Its really hard for a designer that was never into cryptos to do something without any guidance Smiley

Relaunch gonna be Scrypt-N again or are there any changes ?
Also is there a timer anywhere for the restart ?
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ¤ CREDITS: Marketplace - Custom & Android Wallets - FAIR - No multipools - ASIC? on: March 03, 2014, 08:42:49 AM
So at launch there will be only 4 official pools ? You are not gonna let other pool offer this coin ? If yes, why ?
The "official" pools, will they have servers all over the world ?

Other people can make their own pools, there are just 4 OFFICIAL ones. If you'd like to make your own, Google "php-mpos" and that should help you out.

Did i somewhere state that i would like to make my own pool ?
There are a lot of big trusted pools that offer different coins and have servers all over the world, so i can choose the one best for me.
Here i see now info whatsoever on this matter. And i never saw a coin being launched with only "official" pools ...
I am asking a valid question cuz i would like to mine this coin but i do not see enough information on this.
If you would like to be a dick about it, great, good for you, here - take a cookie.

I still belive in the coin. I did not invest anything except the power of my small farm and for that i have paid out with half of my MINT balance.
The rest i will keep and try to help this coin and its community to grow.
I do not know the dev's personaly but i just do not think that they have sold the pre-mine.
Why would they bother answering to anyone ( and yes i do message them and they do answer when they have time ) ? Why would they try to make a new wallet ? Why would they keep working on the coin at all ?
So i do not think that they are dumping the coin and going to the next project. I might be wrong but time will tell very soon.
For me i know that i like the coin and the community so i will support it and try to do what i can.

And one more time - if everything is good with the dev's, and i think we will know about that in the next 10 days, its the community that makes a coin strong. So whoever wants to see THIS coin grow, just spend a bit more time helping out then discussing the trolls and panicing Smiley

Hi guys, I hope you can help me out here,

I posted here earlier already but I get this error:

error -4 enqueueing kernel onto command

i have 4 R9 280x and 4gb is that the problem?
in short i believe yes for more than 2 cards mining u need 8 gb ram minimum

I find that a good rule of thumb is 4gb per card, I have rigs with 4 x 290 and they were fail at 8gb so I installed 16 gb and it worked just fine. If I were to make a guess I would imagine you need to match your combined GPU memory in available system memory.

More system ram does nothing for mining. I've seen 6gpu rigs running 2GB (linux). 4GB is all you need for Win.

but issnt this n-scrypt something different that you need more ram? Since I can run 4 cards for normal scrypts but on this n-scrypt I get the error about the kernel and disabling gpu

It is deffinetly different. I could not get 3 290 running with any settings. However when i put in another 4gb of ram ( 8 total for 3 cards ) its running perfect.

There are a lot of people working on the coin, and this can be seen in this thread and on mintcointalk.
If some one does not like the coin or wants to cash out then thats totaly fine.
But stop saying bullshit and trying to confuse other people.
Coins has dropen in price ... bu huuu ...
Also do not forget that there multipools are still dumping to pay the miners so this should also be taken into consideration.

Some one dumping like crazy on cryptsi while mintpal is in maintainance ... what a coincidence haha
Now people are gonna panic, sell it cheap and they will then trade them on mintpal ...

Okay everything is set up and i will be mining this coin for sure, lets see how that vertminer works Smiley
Dev's please make this coin somethin good, we all need that with all the shit coins flooding the place !
Get a EU partner ASAP and lets get some GPU's Smiley
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Launch 02MAR14 | IPO Available on: March 02, 2014, 01:05:50 PM
And just one more question to the OP, how many people are working on this project ? You say we but if its not a problem please clearify.
Just to make sure you understand me good, i am not trying to say anything bad, i just think this is a pretty big project. Aside from the development of the coin itself ( for which you obv need some very skilled dev's ) and some people in the marketing department ( facebook, twiter, google+, reddit and what not ), there is a need for pure man power for accepting, packaging, shipping of the orders.
I think the idea of the coin is good and i will try to mine it ( as long as i manage to set up everything okay with Scrypt-N and i find a decend pool )
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Launch 02MAR14 | IPO Available on: March 02, 2014, 12:57:20 PM
Any idea why no of the bigger pools has this coin ? is it due the Scrypt-N ?
I am talking about pools like dedicatedpool, hashstrike, hash.so etc ?
Not that i have anything against the pools listed in the thread but i guess i do not feel all that secure after i checked them Smiley
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Launch 02MAR14 | IPO Available on: March 02, 2014, 12:46:15 PM
switched to scrypt N?

I'm in.

Thats what it says on the OP.
However it would be a good idea if we can get a definitive confirmation that it will be Scrypt-N ( spent 1 hour to set up my 7950's, finaly got 300 from each which i think is very good ).

The original post needs some work on Smiley
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The big VTC Vertcoin settings thread on: March 02, 2014, 12:01:33 PM
Okay i cant get it running with any thread different then 8192. I am trying to run 4 7950's with 4 gb of ram, is this enoguh ? Is the problem in the RAM , do i need more ?
Anything i get other then 8192 it simply does not work.
