For ETH or for ZEC?
why would he post in ETH topit if it is for ZEC?

^ Grin

Anyone switching back to Eth (from ZEC?) Price of ZEC really gone down lately

Hi @Claymore

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1792180.0
what can you say about it?
is it trojan?

Use at your own risk.

v11.1 Linux version released.

Thank you.

Thanks Claymore, keep up the good work 😀

Thanks. Updated to 11.1 on my Ethos rig: http://ethosdistro.com/kb/#adding-claymore

whats the best ethereum pool at the moment?

Ethermine.org has been solid for me

if your have many rigs go for ethpool

if you have only 1 or 2 rigs for ethermine

I have more than 2 rigs, could switch to ethpool after I'm done mining ZEC (if & when that happens)

How long has it been down for?  Huh

Due to technical maintenance the website will be offline for a short period of time. All your shares are calculated, all pool servers work. The main server will be migrated. Payments will be started as soon as possible.

I would really love if someone could help me with an annoying issue.

I really dont know if it is the miner causing it, windows, or maybe the GPU...

For some reason, after a couple of hours mining perfectly, one gpu drops its mem clock from whatever stock setting it is to 300, which causes that gpu to mine a 1/5 % of the speed, usually around 47 sols/s (amd 470 4 gb modded). so I am constantly having to reinstall drivers, patch, etc, to get it work normally again, since simple restarts do not solve the problem.

I am using 6x 470 4gb cards, z97 gaming 5 mobo, 8gb ram, windows 8.1

Do you have a screen plugged in (or dummy plug)? If it's the 'out card' it could be a restful state issue that your power management is forcing the card into.

HI! yes, i keep a screen plugged in all the time. I always use the same port to connect the pc to the scree, i think its the first 16x port, I think it is also the only one that allows me to enter the BIOS settings.

Double check, I had the same 300MHz problem when I first set up my rigs, it turns out I had to have a monitor plugged in to the primary slot - for me that was the 2nd PCI e slot from the top (not the first 1x slot).

Do 2GB GPU's still work with eth mining?

My 2GB radeon r9 270 do not work with eth mining. I'm continuing mining with my 280x GPUS. Using 270 for zec mining for now.

Ok, how profitable is ZEC compared to eth?

Hi,

Fanspeeds stuck at 20%

I tried:
-tt -70
-fanmin 70

What to do?

regards,
Eric

Did you try AMD's Wattmann tool instead?

If that doesn't work take a look at this:

MSI Z97A Gaming 6 Intel Z97 Socket 1150 ATX Desktop Motherboard
Will this work the same as  Z97 Gaming 5,  MSI Z97 Intel LGA 1150 DDR3 USB 3.0 ATX Gaming Motherboard?
Anybody using this mobo yet?

FWIW, I have an older MSI Z97 Gaming 7 and I've gotten 6 GPUs to work with it.

Well, my Platimax 1200 has problems ( freezes ) with 6 480's. No problem with 5 of them. PM shows 850 - ish @ the wall so not registering spikes

With Corsair PSUs, using corsair link it is quite easy to see the spikes. With v9, there's some wonky things going on at the same v8 intensity levels.

Can you post a screenshot of your graph, is it similar to this?

That's it, all rigs are on V9, let's see how stable it will work, only one rig out of 94 turned off, I will check it tomorrow.

Also I wanted to ask about the benefits of ssl connection for mining ?
You have 94 rigs?Huh? How the f**k.

lol

I was thinking I am on the Zcash miner thread, apparently I was wrong.  Huh

All this XMR talk lately makes me wanna switch a rig from ZEC to XMR..

Anyone mining XMR direct to a pool address?

not me know any good pools that let you do that.

I've been mining ZEC direct to a Poloniex address and haven't had any problems for the past month, if I can do the same with XMR that'd be great as I don't have to bother with syncing the XMR blockchain/addresses etc...

if you are looking for ones that will allow you to mine to a exchange (such as poloniex) they are out there as well but you cannot withdraw until you have mined 5 XMR
Can't withdraw XMR - but selling for BTC should be ok right? (no minimums?)

Network Hashrate increase = lower profit for miners???

Let's see if ZEC recovers but it's trending down.

Where did you get these graphs ?

Really thinking to switch to ETH

Check http://whattomine.com/ and you'll see you shouldn't switch, at least not yet

which zcash pool should i connect to?

I've been using http://zcash.flypool.org/ (made by same people at ethermine), mining directly to a Poloniex address

I'm mining siacon on nanopool but my balance after 24h is still unconfirmed, do u know why ? there r any problem with this pool ?

change to siamining. I had the same problem on nanopool for eth and sia... mined for few hours, shares sent but website does not recognize.

This is going nowhere. OP hasn't been online in two days.

Maybe he's busy making the video?
