I have an idea for an ETO. First thing first, I haven't seen anything like this so far so I'm just wondering if there is something like this.
Ok, so It's about a project where your tokens will rise in value as the project does, so if you hold on those tokens and wait for the value of the project to rise so will be with your tokens. Basic ETO principles so far.
But this is my main idea: I'm thinking about a project which is based on re-selling, you know, buying in bulk and selling at a better price. I think that this concept of buying bulk and selling at higher prices after it's been around for ages and it's working ever since but you need the money to start something like this and I think that an ETO is just the right way to start.

could be that bitcoin is on the way up. if you apply technical chart analysis to the bitcoin price chart then you see it had a double bottom @ 14 apr and 26apr.
lets hope greece is not going to be saved. then bitcoin is a safe haven for investors. like gold/silver etc.
bitcoinprice recovery is good for all altcoins.

NASDAQ is up in this bitch already. It only takes a couple whales joining the party, we don't need "Mass adoption" to hit 6 figures per coin.
I wonder. These people are hardened pros. They're not going to pump money in when they know they can be dumped all over by a bunch of spotty oiks who lucked out. If they do want to separate a lot of people from their coins they'll be doing it in a rather sneakier and scarier manner. Perhaps it has been happening for a while. We might learn something about that in the years to come. i have been in the stockmarket for quite some time now.... take oil as an example. there is still much oversupply and just recently there was a 30% increase in price. the markets dont have anything to do with supply and demand. oil is still way oversupplied. markets follow the direction the big banks like goldman suckx direct it to. also when they start buying, this will trigger algo's that start buying even more.... everyone will get scared to miss out again and start buying as well... just one big signal is needed. when it comes... dont know. maybe within next 1.5year since the stockmarket is near to the end of the current cycle. think they are already buying silently. so no-one notices. i see bitcoin like gold. gold is also near it lows. |

The next push, would not be that dramatic... the "Willy bot" has been revealed.
I expect a $400/btc to the end of the year and it would stay around there for quite some time.. {pure speculation}
Transaction volumes are still very healthy and the road was paved for Wall Street to enter the Bitcoin field.
investors will flock to alternatives ( commodities, which can be argued bitcoin is one of ) when stocks and bonds go out of favor. some new financial crisis. they ( fed, ecb ) "solved" the last debt-crisis with making more debt. doesnt make sense :S |

if those programs do not support your current blockversion you might need to patch and recompile the sourcecode manually. dont know if you are familiar with coding. mayb ask your question in the specific altcoins forums... |

just wait until the stockmarket crashes again... with these artificially, fed/ecb inflated, markets... will come with a 50% correction.
i expect, like gold, the bitcoin price will rise if such an event occurs. we are nearing the end of this market cycle. markets really do not want to go much higher atm.
however, current market correction is near its end... it was 1 month in correction modus. exciting times there.
there will be a large market depression anywhere within the next 1.5years.
could be sooner rather then later; imagine if greece is expelled from the euro-zone. probably wont happen ( because russians are cheering on the sideline with bags of rescue cash ). but we dont know atm.
holding tightly to my cheap bitcoins. will buy more if price drops below 200.

It is best to keep talking about that something is going on, planned and incoming yes, but we want to have an "open" schedule and not rush things too much. anyways, we are working on it. no promises, just steps being made. when all is done. it will be launched. i think your idea is nice however a revival procedure is already in progress.
you may help out on certain issues of the coin but a complete re-release of the wallet on github is something we wont allow and is not needed ( except for the heartbleed for which we have an update ).
the original developer ( me ) is not gone. you can see it like i am having a holiday currently ( as is stated on the original website ).
in a couple of weeks i will be back.
the problem is not coin software etc. the problem is sell walls and marketing + additional services need to be revived ( p2pool software, foundation and multibit, android ).
if you can help with these, sure, go ahead.. i can even provide you with problem descriptions and what i have done so far.
we have never been completely gone.
just very busy times at work etc.

Please do your homework, this coin is not being deserted by the dev's .

I see this as a cheap way of takingover(stealing) a coin and its community.

We do not have the intention of stealing. Honestly, I'm not much into leafcoin, but if something had some issues, problems or simply died or was left alone, then why bother? There is plenty of other coins which are rather better atm. Good luck anyway and thx for the initiative!
Why bother? To make altcoins more reliable. you can work together with us on reviving the coin but only if you know something about the following codes: p2pool, android wallet, leafcoinj and/or have marketing skills. cheers. |
