Maybe, troll, but other trolls can inflame with nonsense opinion, obviously derived from smoke and/or mirrors. Why was troll posting about X card, when basic knowledge/search/reading/comprehension shows X is in the subset of all?
Some poster: X card will be less profitable in the future Troll dyslexia poster: All card will be less profitable you troll Meta-troll: What?!? He said troll to "X card" and I didn't get 2 replies! Scoff! I'll show them! Wikipedia troll reference-pow!
You're the first one to call me a troll on these forums; this issue has nothing to do with any potential offense taken by me. I was just trying to inform people on the correct use of a word. Wouldn't a carpenter correct someone who is pointing at a lathe and calling it a planer?

Just think this from a profit standpoint:
If you generated X bitcoin with Y hashing power, would you really want to rent that for anything less than what you'd be getting from selling bitcoins? If you're buying Y hashing power, would you want to rent it for more than your making from selling X bitcoin?

I think one of your workers is configured wrong or a graphics card isn't registering with the system. Maybe one of your cards isn't being recognized by the program, so slot [2] is being replaced by the processor. Try using GUIminer to test it out, since it's nice interface with hardware-selection drop down list will show what hardware is being found.

Seriously people, a troll is not someone who has a different opinion that yours. Read up on it if you have to on Wikipedia. How many times will I have to see this scenario repeated again and again:* Some poster: X card will be less profitable in the future Troll dyslexia poster: All card will be less profitable you troll Or Some poster: You should think about X Troll dyslexia poster: No, troll, I disagree. *(Note: examples are subjected to extreme paraphrasing. See back for details)

I remember back in the day when oil was used as fuel for power, and when you wanted to cool your CPU, you'd blow on it. Now they're trying to use wind power to generate electricity, and oil to cool computers. The world has gone backwards one me.

30mh/s is still crappy for mining.
You should really wait and buy a decent mining card instead of something that gets 8x less hashing power. You've got to spend money to make money.

Are you running the cards in a case? Have you tried adding a side fan if possible?

I don't get why you're giving him shit.
He's specifically comparing the 5830 to a 6870 and making a suggestion to not buy the cards $50 overpriced which is close to the same price as a 6870, which is a superior mining card.
Of course his argument doesn't make sense when you bring other cards into the equation, but did he once say "Don't buy anything below number 6870?"

I don't feel sorry for anyone who didn't change email and/or password. It's not like every bitcoin related site has the hack news posted on it asking you to change your passwords.

Most pools are similar. The main differences are the fee's and stability of the pool.
I've used deepbit, and currently use BTCGuild. I like BTCGuild, now that they've solved their traffic issue, since they have optional fees. Deepbit is a good backup pool since it's a pretty stable, but they charge a 3% fee.

The world cannot be overpopulated, so long as private property rights are understood and enforced. Have a million children if you so wish - it will create a million new minds and productive bodies. People, in general, are not parasites on the planet. We produce more than we consume, on net, and this computer on which I type is proof of that.
Overpopulation is a non-issue. The real issue is ensuring those who are born, live in a society that respects their individual rights.
Amen. I agree with you. Respect and humans right have to be the priority; anything else will come automatically (sustentability, for example). If only human greed and the struggle for power didn't get in the way. I really want to do a social experiment (maybe I should look up if it's be done) that involves taking very intelligent, scientist like people and isolate them in their own society and see what develops there.

Kinda funny how he's "teaming" up with Anonymous. I know what it means, just made me laugh a little since the point of anonymous is to, well, be anonymous.

You could probably get more hashing with overclocking. Overclocking is pretty easy. Only challenge is the time involved in finding the ideal clock speeds.
Also, if you do end up overclocking, don't have the programs apply overclocking when the system starts up. This can cause a lot of headache and lost time.

My 5850 runs around 80-82. The two 5830s I have going are around 75 if I remember correctly (I don't want to walk across the room).
They're only OC'ed to the CCC limits because a few days ago the power went out, and all of my "stable" OC's in afterburner because very unstable, and I had to go into safe mode to uninstall afterburner. Lesson learned: Don't enable overclocking on start-up with afterburner.

You didn't find blocks. It means the same as when pooled mining I believe.
I just tested out a solo miner on my computer, and got 2 shares in a about a second.
