I got it here is how you compensate for never ending pow and basically bittorrent books .... burn coins at a 1lib:1KB RATE so that the more books through the network the less coins .... the more used the network the more valuable the coin is then neverending pow is not a factor and the price will be dictated by the networks usefulness or better yet a fixed us dollar amt per kb say 1 cent then you could have a formula using btc price in usd say x=($/ BTC) /100 than burn= x/l(ib price in satoshi) so a 250 dollar bitcoin with a 500 sat value would burn 8 lib per kb or u could change dollar value to $0.0001 and change to x=($/B)/10000 than a $250 BTC would cost.008 lib per kb and it would take a ton of books to use more than 10 coins also i see this as a way for unpopular ideas to be monetized thereby assuring a level platform for ideas

April 02, 2015, 07:27:23 PM Reply with quote #50 Quote from: kondiomir on April 02, 2015, 04:58:06 PM This project remains me of Crave coin. They forked old $CRAVE code. Which is ok, if you guys make some unique tech that's cool. Concept of this coin is cool, gfx are cool, specs are nice, for some reason reminds me of SYNC maybe.
But, you have couple of things to fix/clean up...
First is simple, you have the bug where it reindexes the address index completely every wallet start. You have to change default of reindexaddr argument parsing in init.cpp from true to false, so that it only does it if user specifies -reindexaddr on command line. For now workaround is put -reindexaddr=false and it won't do it.
Second, is you set the alert and checkpoint keys to "". You need to generate keypairs and put the public key in there. Otherwise, you cannot broadcast alert to network, and you cannot run checkpointing node. You have PoS coin, need to run checkpointing from any node or your own wallet by putting the checkpointkey in your .conf and putting your private key there.
Otherwise over time you will have syncing problems and people going off on own forks.
To make keypairs, just open your wallet and use makekeypair command...easy! Wink
You could make wallet really cool if reskin to be like a HUD or panel from crysis or far cry Cheesy Anyway nethash already high on this one so maybe I wait for exchange to scoop up. Pretty good FUD, but it just looks like a shakeout to me. Price is still really low for the unit count, so I will take the gamble myself. So you are taking ICM's post as a sign of something? if anything he is acknowledging they forked his coin and is actually giving them advice, that right there shows an adult mature mentality, instead of being pissed for not crediting his work he's all chill about it. Invest (speculate) in the Dev's talent, creativity and ability to write the code, that's what you all should be doing instead of whining that a major feature is a few hours overdue. damn brats fighting for scraps................. booyakasha

make a commitment
"When good me conspire in earnest, great things have occurred" I dont know if thats a famous quote but, it damm well should be. This is not the time to forget why we all got into crypto. I don't know about you folks but , I didnt come here to get rich. I wanted to be part of an economic system that is fair , transparent and free. A system where anyone can prosper through hard work guts and determination. I think we can build that with crypto. Here with this project, we have a chance to create a new kind of financial system. One where an individual or group can buy whatever they want without fear of people snooping. it dosent mean illegal things but it could and that is how the current model works as well. with CRAVE you get the best of both worlds. a secure payment processing system with a public ledger that can be used for everyday purposes on the clearnet and, so on. Now if that is not your style you can use this network in conjunction with the onion router and no one will know what you actually were buying. this is a good thing because we in america fight every day for this right. Not only this but it gives rise to a new kind of de-centralization. a worldwide financial market where goods and services can flow as fast as the BLOCKCHAIN. a market which no one force can dictate authority or power. Now we are at a turning point the point where the people in this for a quick profit will most likely exit in search of the next big thing. This is the moment you have been waiting for NOW! Is the time to act!. Lets show those jaded profit hungry washed up wanna be warren buffet clones, what an emerging market looks like. If you ever believed in de-centralized free markets and actually came here to try to change the system, then u better not sell! you better fucking put all your btc up where your big fucking mouth is and buy those fuckers out. AND if u came for a quick buck, u made it allready. hold and stake OR GTFOTHATS HOW WE GET THIS DONE I WILL, NOW IS THE TIME

Look how the orderbook flipped, its almost as if someone knows something we dont.
you really think those orders would be on sell side and not just dumped. they making you want to sell. my order got filled boom boom. that just ttells me of how much of a good pump this will be Time for her to go down for a while. whatever you say but orderbook says thy accumulating. the sooner people dump the sooner we will see it rise Oh don't get me wrong she will spring back up, but there is much to be made in pushing it down first. depends how far they willing to as others will just snap it off their hands notice how they selling into orders and not actually placing low sell orders so they are not bought The whole point is to slowly break the buy resistance until it reaches a point where people decided "Fuck this shit, I'm out". People panic when they see just how much control one or two individuals with 20 or so BTC can exert over the market and sell out. true but they wouldnt want those that sold higher to buy big chunks back lower from their orders as theyl then be back at square one Remember often the buy support will be them as well, it's all a calculated risk - they don't the sorta BTC stash they have from getting beaten at their own game by smaller fish. they know what they doing i have some btc ready just incase i get lucky but have enough atm This is also why, as a dev, you don't tell people you're going to release something at a certain time, then don't deliver. It causes people to panic and it makes it easier for whales to manipulate the market. The dev is the only one with the full picture. Whales operate off signals, they swing the market in the direction of the news. Delays mean she is going down, release means a massive dump, rumors mean a pump. well said bd
