521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Negativity | POSITIVE/NEGATIVE STAKING | So you wanna be a Negative Nancy? on: August 11, 2015, 11:36:36 PM
Hello iGotSpots

First I want to say nice idea and positive/negative staking is a cool idea.

However your design has some flaws.
Like I can make my wallet only stake positive blocks by only staking the blocks with even numbers.
For example your design is odd blocks are negative and even blocks are positive, then I can do some changes in wallet.cpp and compile my wallet to not mine odd blocks.
Like if the block is odd, it just skips staking that block. So then I would only stake positive blocks.

please type getpeerinfo

524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MangoCoinz Official ANN Thread - Mine cryptocurrencies on you smart phone on: August 09, 2015, 11:54:46 PM
Hey everybody,

Just a quick update.
We've acquired a phone that has the mentioned bugs that some of you have experienced and we're pleased to tell you that we've fixed them.
We're talking about some crash bugs and timer issues.

The app will be available to update in a few days. We still need to button things up a bit before we can release it onto Google Play.

Also, we're considering making a hybrid comeback of the old way of mining.
The way we're considering this to work is by allowing all 24 hours in the day for mining with a max amount of coins that can be mined, but with an active internet connection requirement.
This is basically the old way of mining (from the old orange app) but with a internet connection.
Please tell us your thought on this.

Best regards, Srele from MangoCoinz.

please bring back the "lazy" or "passive"  miner some people are TIME REKT and seriously cannot shake their phone for 2 hours this will be awesome and remove all my new found hate of this product

Will revisit your sentence soon.

Also, anyone currently using a CPU. Use this it's up to 120% increase in hash.

https://github.com/nicehash/cpuminer-multi/releases

Got another version  Cheesy

This one increases my CPU from 120 h/s to massive 410 h/s:

Now, GPUs are not so much ahead any more, are they?

(BTW; this is all public code with just few extensions and modifications)

Will probably release this one tomorrow. But works only on CPUs with AVX&AVX2 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions). CPU runs very hot with it too, though Smiley

ur the best what did his gpu get

cpu 400
gpu 250

Wow, we leave for a bit to get some work done and suddenly we control 50% of supply? You are out of your mind. We put the miner right in the wallet, no pool configurations necessary and many people including yourselves mined and at a significant profit, the coin was traded on multiple exchanges for a few days below 2k satoshi. Give it a rest and let us get our work done without coming back here only to see you guys throwing speculative mud at it. If you can't prove it, it's FUD. There were so many miners joining the network that it overwhelmed our nodes.. This coin was designed from the start for fairness, and we will continue doing what we must to keep it that way. Just wait until you see this Algorithm we're working on.. you thought the first one was good.. Game over GPU miners.. Game Over.

Axiom Team

then they make a miner u change real fast......  have a fork ready

IMPORTANT NOTICE! IMPORTANT NOTICE! IMPORTANT NOTICE! IMPORTANT NOTICE!

NiceHash is providing you with improved, up to 120% faster CPU miner: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=23

anyway if they can implement an I/O task into the hashing process it will be very hard to gain an advantage for gpu ... u still have all that lag created by the disk.. this is a problem i have ran into on another project..
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AXIOM] AxiomMemHash, Schnorr Sigs, 8/3 Status Update, AxiomPOS 3.0, AXH 2.0 on: August 03, 2015, 03:05:18 PM
actually its more the miners who are exploiting the unemployed dev...

and always want more for free, and cry like babies if something is kept private

actually NO! If you come into an opensource project that is to benefit all, than taking that code to develop your project and closing the source is just like stealing.  U can rationalize anything to fit your viewpoint and make genocide sound fair. At the end of the day the profiteers and thieves will say we worked hard on it. Well so did the dev team  and you are stealing from them and ruining the goal of their project.. while i respect the talent and hardwork it takes to create this software, i think its regrettably dishonest  how you people introduce it into an open project .

its because the devs that create 'private' miners are actually keeping their OWN work private - not the opensource code ...

thats why they can and NOT stealing from anyone ...

if you could optimize and code the miners themselves - you would ... whether you release it to the public or keep it private is actually up to you as the person that developed it ...

the devs are not selling the opensource project - they are selling the work that they put into the open source project ...

there is nothing illegal about that ... stealing IS illegal ...

if they were doing something wrong - believe me i would be one of the first to say so ... but just because you dont agree with what the devs do with their OWN work and code - doesnt mean that they are doing something wrong at all ...

there are those that will take advantage of a situation that they can do so without doing anything illegal ( like stealing ) - and there are those that will not put their hands into their own pockets ( or help with the project ) and just whine about how unfair it is that they dont have a free miner ...

im neither here nor there with it ... if they are not breaking the law - then great ... if they are - then lock em up or punish them under the law ...

i dont see any authorities going after the devs - do you? ...

#crysx

i guess this is more of a philosophical debate than a legal one.. I hope BITCOIN crashes to a penny then u will see my point

yep, im stealing myself lol Wink i said it already, im not there to kill "cpu-only" coins

dude your talented no doubt .... come join the side of good

isnt this the opensource revolution?

Some of us are here for the goal and not the profits

i just hope u cheaters (like gpu miners and those that exploit it for profit) get what u deserve!
they come into an open source project release closed source software (based off open source work) then exploit it for profit . WWSD (what would satoshi do)

SHAME ON YOU
