Since you need good service and excellent services, I suggest these:  http://lifehacker.com/5911651/five-best-web-hosting-companies

I've heard good things about most of them over the years, especially a small orange

If tou're going the virtual server route, why not bitvps.com ? Wink Or amazon.

Why bother with BFGminer?
24  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 03, 2012, 06:16:42 AM
I think we all agree that would be the most awesome thing ever, however ethically maybe it is best to just stick to testnet in a box  Smiley

Please make sure that the device returns solutions quickly (instead of waiting to complete the workunit) so p2pool can get some love from these new ASICs Smiley

I vote abracadabra - he is an exceptionally smart, mature guy well suited to the task Smiley
27  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: "Avalon" ASIC mining machine, announcement & pre-order start. update:9/18 on: September 18, 2012, 10:06:54 PM
I would like to firmly place my vote on the energy saving side, some of us have very expensive electricity and it would be a shame to miss the opportunity for optimization.
28  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE features release schedule on: August 23, 2012, 09:20:16 AM
So will the site be faster soon?

If so, bonus!

Let me ask you (and by extension everyone else): Do you want us to ship out a small quantity of units first and then a larger quantity later (thereby giving the first shipments a major advantage) or hold on to the units until we have enough (I am still going over what the "enough" is, specifically) to satisfy a large portion of the first set of orders at once?

It was my impression that the overwhelming majority wanted the playing field to be as level as possible, thus holding on to the orders until there's enough to ship a reasonable quantity would be preferred over shipping out a handful of each right away?  Is that thinking incorrect?

Ship all per-orders at once and anything after the pre-order cutoff (I am assuming that might be October 1st) in a FIFO fashion.

Surely it isn't too hard to do considering ASICs tend to get manufactured in larger quantities, right?

You guys at BFL are doing a great job, the FPGA miners you were doing we're obviously using old chips that had sporadic supply and the design wasn't perfect.

Now you're taking the next step and releasing an ASIC product that is what has been viewed as the holy grail.

I am glad Inaba is there to help communicate with us better than has happened in the past.

Keep up the good work and we all look forward to your releasing these things I'm a timely manner given you are manufacturing them from scratch instead.

The only question that really matters to us that aren't jumping om the childish nay-sayer bandwagon: How quickly do you hope to ship all 4000-5000 orders so far?

It has gotten very tiresome to hear from all sides "I' ve nothing to do with it" maybe telling us who does would ease the pain

Maybe this guy?

Is "1PkHvfna7fHNi1BnbYjFe5tRDLQZqLYLyz" correct address for donations?

Thanks minimal. The Sites donation address is 1JArS6jzE3AJ9sZ3aFij1BmTcpFGgN86hA. I haven't really said anything about it much but the Site is much better funded now, so donations aren't critical. I am still the the main developer but no longer hold 100% equity.

Can you say who holds the rest of the equity, or how much you still have?

Are you still in charge of operations?

It is weird the UK company register charges for that information

Thanks for fixing the problems I was having with regards to balances being incorrect!

Appears to be fixed now Smiley
35  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE 2.0 open for testing on: August 13, 2012, 07:56:32 PM
The site is running slowly for me these past few days, has it been like this for a while?
36  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bitcoinica Consultancy abandons customers. Bitcoinica to enter Liquidation on: August 02, 2012, 06:04:39 AM
Rackspace hack

Was Rackspace itself actually hacked?

I thought it was only the bitcoinica system within the vm that was compromised.

Symantics aside, I applaud your work in doing the right thing by bitcoinica's users  Smiley

38  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: iPhone IOS Bitcoin wallet is here! (From Blockchain.info) on: July 26, 2012, 04:19:54 AM
Wtf. I logged in to an old wallet on blockchain.info and it shows a balance of more than zero yet I was certain I cleared it and blockexplorer.com shows zero too.

Something is definitely broken :/
