1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is boring on: January 08, 2022, 06:36:04 AM
That's right that new projects can give you a bigger profit so it is better to find something more risky, but it is important to have some conservative investments as well, Bitcoin is conservative investment as for me, of course there are different bones and treasures, but they are more boring for me, so I prefer take some fundamental crypto currencies as my conservative investments.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc hodlers vs short time traders on: January 08, 2022, 06:32:07 AM
You are absolutely right that long-term holders get a bigger profit than short-term traders as it is so difficult to guess where the market will go as there are too many factors that can influence on market. Personally I follow the strategy of buying almost every month some Bitcoin and other solid crypto currencies, it is my monthly investment.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When people said hype and utility is most important on: January 08, 2022, 06:28:19 AM
The slowest crypto that walk from grass to grace is BTC, it's the first decentralized crypto asset that works with zero hype since the Dev decided to went hidden and remain unknown to the world, BTC works with no hype at all, slowly this asset confused the world that it matters but projects of today talk and talk about thousands of promises only to end up queueing under BTC LMAO
Bitcoin has its strengths. First of all, it is really decentralized and it is the first cryptocurrency, here is why it is so popular, but actually, I don't think that it will be able to hold this position for long as the thing is that people want this system to become faster and more comfortable and there are many alternative chains that offer new technologies that allow people to feel more comfortable.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 07, 2022, 04:52:46 AM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that it’s the start of the bearish market. Should we sell all crypto now?
Nobody can tell for sure, it is up to your own strategy. If you have a long-term portfolio and you can wait, then you don't need to sell as your portfolio will increase in price within time, but if you can't wait so long, you should sell off now. The main thing is to get rid of coins you don't believe in such as tokens of strange platforms and meme coins.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 07, 2022, 04:49:31 AM
99% of projects that appear this way will fail. It is so hard to say for sure which 1% will be successful and I don't like that there are so many projects, investors are tired of them all and they are confused by such a big number of projects. Personally I check this page https://dropsearn.com/ so as to monitor new projects and participate in airdrops or presales.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 13.4% Drop As Result of KAZAKH Government Resigns. on: January 06, 2022, 03:23:32 PM
Almost the entire country of Kazakhstan has shut down the Internet and in the current situation miners may start to leave Kazakhstan and thereby bring down the bitcoin hashrate. There is 18.1% of the network hashrate in the country. Falling hashrate will led to fall of Bitcoin price. That's  a really bad situation. Mining company BitFuFu has already shut down devices located in Kazakhstan due to power supply problems in the country and began to relocate equipment to the United States. Other industry representatives have also decided to take this step.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin was main currency, what's gonna be the BTC value? on: January 06, 2022, 03:17:50 PM
Actually, we can estimate the value of dollar and other fiat money as well. First of all, the value of currency can be taken as the value of economy of the country that releases this currency. One more thing of how we can estimate their value is to think about how much we can buy for one unit. As bitcoin is the global currency, we would not be able to think about it like value of economy of one country so we would estimate it based on how much we can buy on one BTC
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fees wtf airdrop on: January 06, 2022, 08:33:21 AM
Has anyone noticed this? Or anyone have seen their eth gas fee spend on wtf dapp? I think you will be delighted to know that it will be compensated via airdrop on feeswtf however this is likely to be the same with gasdao that you need to claim and spend gas fee again. Check the metrics of the airdrops.

https://twitter.com/feeswtf/status/1478186679609401348?t=yc4F3LPqdb8oIbAfSdwwrA&s=19

Not sure if this will recover the gas fee value we spend on the past years on trading but if they do then that's good.
There are 100k+ people who can participate in this airdrop so the probability of normal drop is low, what is more, the commission for claim will be exorbitant. But if you anyway has spent the required amount, you can try, but don't try to reach this number now as they more probably have already made a list of those who meet the requirements.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing in meme coins on: January 06, 2022, 08:25:58 AM
why most of the peoples are not investing in meme coins??
People invest for the long-term in something that has fundamentals and as a result has potential, but meme coins are completely useless so they are supported only by hype and nobody knows if there will be a new wave of hype or meme coins will be completely abandoned in the future. If they don't develop new use cases, they are unlikely to survive long.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: January 05, 2022, 03:21:56 PM
As for me, I don't think about what amount of Bitcoins I want to owe, but maybe it is a good and specific goal if you know an exact number of Bitcoin you want, but personally I think about it in a little bit another manner. I just want to become financially independent, it means that all my bills and other expanses will be paid off by my passive income so apart from holding Bitcoin I need something that brings dividends.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin is less privacy protected,( Query being a new member) on: January 05, 2022, 03:15:05 PM
I'm here new have lot of queries regarding bitcoins, one of the main concern does bitcoin is privacy protected or not. As per my search bitcoin have less privacy. Each transaction is recorded on a distributed public ledger, i.e., on the blockchain, making users switch from bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies. People trust bitcoin because they have heard of a misconception that says bitcoin is a private system. But the reality is completely different, and users must understand that the bitcoin network is anonymous but not completely private.

This is just based on my search what does your experience said. Specially requested to senior members to elaborate this and help me out if I have mistaken.
That's right, Bitcoin is not private, everyone who monitors the blockchain can track your transactions. Every centralized exchange looks after its users so as to ban transactions if they are performing using dirty Bitcoin and to provide the government with the information in case they require. But actually, if you use mixers, you can become private.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most private cryptocurrency on: January 05, 2022, 05:06:34 AM
Cryptocurrencies are definitely not so anonymous as we thought in the past, transactions could be traced and our identity could still be exposed (hope I haven't been too dramatic lol).

I know there are cryptos that focus specifically on privacy like Monero, Zcash and others, so, when it comes to transactions anonymity and wallet exposure, what do you believe to be the best cryptocurrency in this field?

P.S: I'm not looking for financial advice

As far as I know the greatest privacy is given by Monero, but it is not essential to use private coins so as to be anonymous. You can make even your bitcoin and other currencies private because privacy is a feature that can be added to any blockchain. Just use mixers that makes it unclear then who is the owner of those coins (Tornado.Cash, Coinjoin).
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung to introduce NFT platform within its new smart TVs on: January 05, 2022, 05:02:00 AM
Samsung launches NFT platform for smart TVs. South Korean giant Samsung becomes the first major TV manufacturer to add NFT support.
Samsung has presented the lineup of TVs for 2022. The new Neo QLED 2022 and select Smart TV models later this year will include a special section dedicated to gaming. The new models will add support for cloud gaming services, as well as, NFT-platform on which users can buy and sell NFT. That's a wonderful news as there are more and more companies that integrate crypto.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Won't let me swap Dogecoin through Pancake Swap on: January 04, 2022, 06:36:49 PM
Maybe your dogecoins are on Ethereum mainnet or on another chain but not on Binance Smart chain where pancake swap works so you should check what network you are using. Also it is a common thing that there is an insufficient liquidity it means that there are not enough tokens in a protocol so as to perform your swap especially when you want to swap a big amount of tokens straightaway.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot DOT a good investment q1 2022 on: January 04, 2022, 09:51:09 AM
I was looking at some of the top 50 stablecoins ,and im thinking Polkadot. Apart from erc and bep tokens
DOT is not stablecoin. Stablecoin is a token that doesn't change its price so it is stable (USDT, USDC, DAI), but DOT is a native token of Polkadot blockchain and it changes its price within time.
Personally I am optimistic about its price, I believe that it will grow in the long-term as a lot of good projects that develop the Web3 appear on it and I think that the ecosystem of Polkadot will be really huge.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: January 04, 2022, 09:41:42 AM
Each holder will definitely have their own interests, but the true holder will definitely be stronger to plant crypto in a long time. So if we want to cuan, have to save coins for a long time. If you agree or disagree, please give me good feedback. thanks
I share your point of vies that long-term investment is the most profitable and safe strategy, but so as to become a strong holder you need to choose a right project first. If you find a project with good fundamentals, innovative ideas and technologies and the team with impressive portfolio behind it, then you can be calm that this project will be successful so you can just hold not worrying about short fluctuations.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: January 03, 2022, 12:26:34 PM
When basic technologies such as AR and VR are not yet mature, are all the metaverse projects in the market a bubble?

Can $SAND $MANA still be invested?
As for now I think that SandBox and decentraland are really overhyped so I don't think that it is a right time now to invest. Nevertheless, when there is a dip you can consider these tokens. I believe that this sphere will continue to be trendy and there will be a lot of projects connected with it so we will be able to find new gems and become their investors.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MUSK coins ,Scam or not? on: January 03, 2022, 12:22:34 PM
Do you have a MUSK token investment?

Name coins: METAMUSK
Contract: 0x734c5f3f8f6ad9697b26ecc6388678aafd3db3b2
Official Site: https://muskmetaverse.io/

I bought MUSK coins (via ICO or via Pancakeswap) and it's really annoying that the MUSK coins can't be resold.
Do you think this project is a scam?
Absolutely!
The skam token imitates the MetaMask governance token (MASK), which has not been released yet.
One Twitter user under the nickname lindyape shared a screenshot of the transaction history of an Ethereum holder who bought MASK for 22 ETH (almost $88,000) and cannot sell it for any price. According to Etherscan, the number of victims of this scam is approaching 400. The token is issued by the shadowy decentralized company "MaskDAO," whose website was registered on December 27.
Be extremely careful and don't buy tokens that official sources don't tell you about on their social networks!
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: January 02, 2022, 03:34:12 PM
Actually, Bitcoin has no influencers that can manipulate the price. I mean that for example in terms of Ethereum it is Vitalik Buterin who can influence a lot on a Bitcoin's price. Nevertheless, there can be different news that have impact on people so they pump or dump it. Of course, some people will say that Elon Musk manipulates the market, but do strong holders really care about his tweets?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin mistake In 2020-2021 on: January 02, 2022, 03:25:00 PM
I absolutely agree with you that Bitcoin is a long-term investment and we should hold it, but not to sell as it will be much more expensive in the future. My strategy is to buy more and more bitcoin on every correction and wait 5 or 10 years and then I believe that I will lock up a huge profit from my crypto investment. Apart from Bitcoin, I also hold Ethereum, BNB and Matic.
