20% interests per annum is not equivalent to 316 coins in 16 or 17 days (I assumed daily compounding of interests).
You're assuming everyone is staking. Bittrex holds ~47% of all coins and most of their wallet addresses seem to be flagged as belonging to them. I don't think I've ever seen one of those flagged addresses staking. How is the number of coins that are generated (by staking) in each block calculated? How does the formula look like? That's funny pbremen, now you're asking people to show you how their work was done? Nice turnaround. You seemed harmless and entertaining for a while, but now it seems wisest to ignore you. Can't say it's been a pleasure. |

Basically, the release model of this coin is made in a way that is likely to generate exponential rise in the price, but then, the coin count rise is ALSO exponential and one day the coin amount will catch up with it.
With Proof Of Work finished, only 913,592 coins in existence and 20% interest per annum you're not going to see anywhere near the inflation of most other coins which generate many thousands of coins a day. Even taking compound interest into account the slow rate at which new coins are being generated could be very easily absorbed by the market. There have been 316.4928275 new coins generated since proof of work ended on 18th July 2014. That is less than 20 new coins a day generated by way of Proof of Stake. They're trying soooo hard  |

I ran this code on various transactions and they aren't de-anoning anything. Showing the address of one of the mixers is not compromising anything and doesn't even require a program.
Lot of work to try to get price down a bit and buy in, then wait for rebound. Rather than this why not buy in and then help the project?

Thanks for addressing this dev...pretty sure we all knew it was FUD, but some people need to hear it straight from the horse's mouth. |

Were running our own tests as we speak, we will be documenting them.
Why don't you do the right thing and hire some competent mathematicians/cryptographers to prove (or disprove) that your anonymity method actually works? You could also publish the results in some respected scientific journal. This will give boost to the credibility of this coin. You seem like such a good Samaritan, maybe you could lend the cash to do so! |

Hey guys, just swinging by from the KEY thread! First I'd like to say that although I never held XC in the past, I always heard Dan Metcalf spoken very highly of. His peer review today of KEY's technology was a really stand-up move on his part -- I'm sure he's very busy with development on XC as it is. It's fantastic to see collaboration between so-called "competitors" in cryptocurrency, and hopefully this is something that can become a trend in the future. Competition breeds innovation, but cooperation is a fantastic way to refine those ideas into solid and stable features that can benefit users and investors alike. I'll be picking up some XC in the very near future, primarily due to Dan's show of goodwill. Thanks for letting us borrow him!  |

Look at total supply, look at realistic anonymity, speculate on the functionality of KEY OS and then consider DRK, if Shitcoin DRK can see .02 this coin is golden to hit the same if not higher, this may legitimately be a really big deal, especially with a functioning "Kali Linux" style OS made by the KEY team with anonymity in mind.. incredible work, by far better than any other job done to date... even better than CLOAK which is a very bold statement, I do think that CLOAK and VOOT are the only other anon to offer a realistic solution.
Agreed. Everyone getting in Key now, and holding are smart folks. It was posted on /r/Bitcoin that everyone buying Bitcoin now are still considered early adopters. I think this is even more so with Key. People getting in this cheap are early adopters and will be very happy in the not-to-distant future. Market cap/price potential for Key is incredible IMO.
