A simple explain to this will be . They want to protect investors from getting scammed . ICO gained a very bad name to it , How many millions lost to a fake ico !! . This money lost is money going out from a country , Which they will never see again . This might be the simplest dumbest way to explain this  Yes, ICO is a very high risk investment and many greedy dev teams are trying to raise a lot of money, I think the government should regulate this market, but they should not ban them. |

I don't think ICO's will die in 2018 but more likely to stay the same level or even grow.
As long as more and more people are learning about Bitcoin there are more and more potential investors, so alt coins will still hold ICO's.
I can not agree more, as you can see there are many incoming ICO projects and many ICO projects which was over recently turned out to be very successful, such as the Bread, STK and so on. |

Etherdelta and Idex are decentralized Ethereum based token exchanges, since tokens are released already you can trade them there. I'm waiting for bounty tokens to release to, that would boost total trading volume.
I am also waiting for the bounty distribution since I can buy some cheap tokens from the panic bounty hunters, I have make many profit by this way a few weeks ago, I bought the STorm, Link, AST and so on from the etherdelta. I think you can buy some AVT on bitfinex or BRD on binnace, these two coin are very hot in ICO stage, but the price is not too high, I think they will pump soon.

I think you should buy it back soon because the price is much higher than the ICO price even there is no big exchanges, if it can be listed on Binance or bittrex, it will be much higher, also, that will not be too long in my opinion. |

this is based on what I did
short term = day trading : can earn small amount in a matter of 10 buy and selling 6 of it had me failed and my earnings loose a little bit or sometimes even more, also time consuming
long term = holding for a month I think : can earn big if you got a good valueble have potenatial coin. much smaller risk of failure.
time consuming if you will think but if you will not be paranoid it will not.
after I do this I think long term is best. I am now holding ripple and stoped day trading because ripple are so hyped and I know ripple have future.
do your own research of course of those coins you want to hold or invest happy earning
That is a reasonable answer, I think both daily trading and long term holding are fine, daily trading will help you to learn more latest news about the market, while the long term holding will help you to get great profit instead of selling them too early. |

I know this project since it was sold out in a short time on binanace launchpad, it was so hot that only a few buyers bought the tokens, so I think it will sure be listed on binance and the price will be higher than ico price.
You are right, this coins has been listed on binanace and the price is about two times of the ico price, I think there are big whales behind it since they raised so much money but not so widely discussed on this forum, maybe it is another BAT. |

I really don't rate the project that high though some people do, they want to do some big things like be a bank, all this concept of being a bank stands against what crypto stands for in the first place
As far as I can see, the bank means you can exchange your different cryptocurrencies, I think it means exchanges, maybe it is a little different with the exchanges like bianance or bittrex, maybe less exchange fees or better interfaces. |

Yes the history will repeat,Q1 of 2018 would be alts months and after that its another bloodbath but it will comeback when the last quarte came in,
It seems true that some history will be repeated, but there are different situations now, the marketcap of the cryptocurrency is much bigger than before, the cheap coins period will not be repeated again. |
