Which is why I see no logical reason not to go open source relatively (1-2 months)
Nobody can predict the future. Qora may become the most famous cryptocurrency tomorrow, then there's no reason not to go open source. Or we may float on the same level for the next 6 months and would need to protect it by keeping the source closed. From feedback from outsiders to Qora they nearly all say the same thing, it's a clone of NXT and why isn't it OS. Keeping the source closed is way more controversial and unknown than going OS like all other coins do. The risk in my mind is even thinking about keeping it closed. It will piss the bigger community off and alienate Qora. The core Nxt dev confirmed that Qora is unique and has nothing to do with Nxt. Qora is the next big thing, most of us don't care about some rare fudsters. glad to see this great news, hope still close source. |
