281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Site Buys $100 Million of Bitcoin Every Month to Pay Players in BTC on: November 26, 2020, 11:11:55 PM
Strange though,,, I thought bookies only pay out in the same currency that players deposit in, so would you not only be paying out Bitcoin from deposits? And since most casinos should be making their profits in deposits accepted, they should not be buying more BTC to pay out.

Or am I missing something in the picture here?
It depends on the casino that you are playing. There are websites the same as OP posted, that offer their players to choose the currency they want for their payout. And yes, casinos should be making their profits from the deposits so they shouldn't but BTC for payout, however, as per the article, gamblers are depositing using dollar deposits and choosing bitcoin when they withdraw.

Maybe this thing only applicable on casino's who newly shift on bitcoins that's why this buying thing always happened to them and I don't get surprise from this actually since I think this really happened especially when there winners hit the jackpot prize in some certain instance.

Nothing to be surprised with because gamblers had their options to choose, and I believed bitcoin nowadays is more dominant particular on several countries who really patronized digital currency. The real reason behind why most people prefers btc is that they can store it as an asset, it can be tradable when they want to divert their money aside from gambling. Potential growth is there of their btc holdings.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: November 26, 2020, 10:21:23 PM
This is obviously a Golovkin fight, but I probably won't place a bet on this as it seems the betting odds so far are not enticing enough. As quite expected, GGG is the huge favorite and the largely unknown Szeremeta the underdog.

Yes, much better if we just wait for the outcome of this fight, not attractive because of his opponents are not known to us.

An ML bet on Golovkin winning the fight is only at 1.03, at least as offered by Bet365. That doesn't sound worth risking at all. So far, I haven't found odds on Asian total, winning method, or round range. If I do find some nice odds on these, I might also bet a little amount.

That low? damn, perhaps as the fight gets closer, there might be some nice odds on sport bookies. And perhaps we might find it bit enticing like what rounds will GGG will win. But ML bet is not that good even if you bet huge amount, might be better to play it on dice with at least 90% chance of winning.  Smiley

That's good if playing dice would have such rewards but per experience it was just a random results in the end you'll lose. With boxing I think both players would win by draw and it doesn't make sense betting without winning a good amount of money. Much better if they'll have a entitled rematch after the fight in order for gamblers to have assurance of another bets, to cover up the possible draw results.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: Different online business we can involve in on: November 25, 2020, 11:47:02 PM
This is a nice list but there's more we can actually offer, we just need to have skills to start an online business. We can maximize the use of the internet to find income, and I have seen a lot of people shifting to online business, they just need the know what they are good at to offer services, or they can also offer products since online selling is now popular. Online platforms can be a big help especially now that we are in a pandemic where people don't usually go outside and most jobs are affected.

Having online business needs a huge buffer which is your capital and as you said about skills, then it's too hard if you're not having proper guidance towards the system. The competition was too high and the outstanding online business like alibaba, or ebay was just about to cater all the potential products that goes out towards consumer should be considered. However, this pandemic really pushed us to learn and apply more extraordinary things, that's why online selling, other digital stuffs founded to be a sustainable source of passive income.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: November 25, 2020, 11:19:35 PM

Now that there is already a vaccine , could it be the end of covid- 19 virus? How are you after one year of covid-19 pandemic?

There is a saying," Behind the Clouds the Sun is still Shining".

the situation we are in today has a pretty good development. people are already doing their usual activities. in various countries have started to struggle to get up little by little to improve the economic system. does not rule out that the corona virus will disappear soon. I am sure that the government in every country will find the best way for the welfare of its people.

Gladly it has been initiating good enough to cover up those declined economy, and i believed that pandemic gave us more reasons to strive harder in life. If the vaccine will successfully be finalized, hopefully this will protect a lot of sickly person around the world and I think everyone would be protected with it. Economic growth will soon rise and all of us will enjoy our profit specially when you're crypto oriented person having discreet assets.
285  Economy / Speculation / Re: INFLUENCE OF BITCON ON ETHEREUM's PRICE on: November 24, 2020, 11:33:48 PM
AS IF THE BITCOIN HITS $20000 TILL DECEMBER 2020 WHICH IS VERY OBVIOUS THAT IT WILL HIT THAT PRICE, THEN THE RATE OF ETHEREUM WILL BREAK ITS PREVIOUS HIGH OF $1440 BACK IN 2017 BULLISH MARKET.

THE FACT BEHIND THIS METHODOLOGY IS THAT THE PRICE OF ETH SHOULD BE 1/17TH OF THE BITCOIN AT CURRENT CIRCULATION RATE SO AT THE CURRENT PRICE OF BITCOIN ($18400), ETH's PRICE SHOULD BE AROUND $1082 Shocked BUT IT IS TRADED AT $615 WHICH IS MORE OBVIOUS THAT THE BULL WILL HIT THE ETH's PRICE AND TILL THE END OF DECEMBER 2020, ETH WILL GET 1-2 PARABOLIC GROWTH IN THE PRICE AND WILL SURELY BREAK ITS PREVIOUS HIGH OF BACK IN 2017

WRITE VIEWS REGARDING THE OTHER INFLUENCES OF BOTH CRYPTOCURRENCIES ON EACH OTHER.

As per checking on the current status on both btc and eth, they both performing an outstanding phase of the line right now. Truly it's an amazing movement that attracts and influenced ethereum's demand increase. More holders and new investors tend to accumulate more asset instead of dumping it, because of the ongoing trend that spiked consistently few days ago.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Eth2 substantially increase Ether's price? on: November 24, 2020, 10:13:42 PM
Will the scaling upgrades and the staking of Eth2 make Ethereum significantly more valuable?

I'm talking about instead of Ethereum launching up into the low to mid four digits, could Eth2 push Ethereum to say 5 digits in the coming years so that Ethereum joins Bitcoin as a dominant chain in the blockchain industry, rather than just the main chain in the market of what's left over outside of Bitcoin?

What sort of price future do you see for Ethereum in the coming years as Eth2 is implemented and fully brought on line. Will we see another vast expansion of Ethereum that far outstrips other top coins? Or you just think Eth2 will allow Ethereum to remain relevant and continue the sort of expansion you'd expect with the general crypto market expansion?

I think so, there's always a broad capabilities that eth may bring in the future of our asset. However, that eth2 would do more great things in our lives but considering the fact that transaction fee always matters most. The value maybe soon expensive, but don't expect fees could be the same during lean times. Everything changes so people should learn how to adopt certain fluctuations.
287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 - 2020. Better price not yet to come. Be careful on: November 24, 2020, 09:08:03 PM
There is no time greed is good, even if any trader is futunate to escape the loss by chance, making your profit can begin from this little pump, never wait until you see the peak of the bull run, many will even use the strength and aggression of the 2017 losses to hunt this upcoming season bull but it requires wisdom to make it up, just like the post starter said, you can't make your profit that way, if you miss it this time around, your guess is as good as mine..another 4 years carry over.
We need to stay focused despite of the raging speculations, it might not sustain if greed was still in your heart. Profit starts with determination, and if you're weak on your decision making, I guess wisdom won't be with you as long as you remain consistent with daily goals with trading. Losses will happen, just make it as good lessons and for sure we will be successful in the near future.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum updated 2020 high on: November 23, 2020, 11:42:33 PM
The deposits made by everyone for the launching of 2.0 is pushing it to reach a higher price. We may soon see it get back to $1k but not so fast, that would be the after-effect of 2.0 when it's already launched.

yes, and for me the price could grow more and even touch about $700 - $800 in this year but if bitcoin price growing more and break its ATH
i think ethereum price can reach about $1000 if this positive markets continues
It really can but we won't know when it will hit $1k again.

That's highly possible eth will reach on that price as long as market attracts more investors to deal with it everything will happen accordingly. However as growing state inspired us a lot, I would highly recommend to choose wisely what coins will prosper at the end. Sometimes beeing too rush might affects us emotionally that's why our wrong moves will suddenly stressed us on buy and sell timings.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) Breaking out on: November 23, 2020, 10:27:21 PM

Ripple XRP Price Chart pumped to $0.44 today.
It has broken the very long resistance and looking extremely bullish. Is it time to take profit or will you hold your XRP for more gains ?

I am waiting for slight fluctuations for this coin and ripple abundantly pumped up, potential gains will be there for all of us. The resistance was broken down and eventually it's surprising to see as market goes active of its trading. Recently the green indicated more positive response and signs of bullish is now happening, so let's wait and take every steps as a chance in order to grab the best opportunity.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH ideal transaction fee using MEW? on: November 20, 2020, 11:58:54 PM
Code:
Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas]

i tried sending about $50 to someone using the browser extension of MEW on firefox. i pick the fast transaction that the MEW set for users and the gas is about $1.10, but why do i get the error " Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas] "?

i tried slow, average and fast all transactions didn't went thru so i want to use the advance option, how much should the ideal fee to put for transaction to go?

It's so frustrating to see this kind of eth fee situation unlike the old days that I can send fund immediately. Right now it felt not normal, since that went so bad because we need to gas up so high in order to send coins successfully. I am hoping that erc20 network will soon correct this scenario to avoid holders pulling out from this coin as their asset and divert to other altcoins.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin with BTC pair is at the bottom on: November 20, 2020, 10:45:32 PM
If you maybe are talking about alts that are paired with BTC showing all red or decreasing its value to BTC it's because the price of BTC to USD recently is increasing quite significantly. If you trying to invest into these coins that are paired with BTC try to check whether the value of the alts (to BTC) equal to the value if exchanged to USDT.

That's very important to confirm the current volume of alts that you're going to invest with. What I observed with several coins, doesn't coincide with usdt exchange value due to small volume percentage when activity fluctuates. We need to determine a good pairing before deciding which altcoins can be sustainable in the future of our assets, because it's too risky once you've struggled so much with less return.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 19, 2020, 09:42:53 PM
In my whole year stay in the Philippines I got a taste of their gambling shenanigans, they have a similar thing going on which is called "ending" where you basically guess the last digit of the scores of both teams. If you win, you take all of the bets with some commission to the person who roams to take your bets. If you lose, you lose. They usually don't bet too high on this game as these are usually found in slums and high-poverty areas. And their usual betting would cost as low as $0.50 which to be fair, is a good amount of money in that country.
Basically that type of gambling was really shady with respect to the results of the game and I think it has been manipulated by the operation team. There's no fair game draw which was published through television, that's why it's illegal in a certain country. Though there's a random winners but, it was just selected randomly because the betting numbers were submitted to the main office for tabulations so that could pick potential winning combinations.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap UNI Token Farming Ended November 17 on: November 19, 2020, 01:57:44 PM
It looks like this is the end for Uniswap, if seen from the price I guarantee that the price of UNI will drop sharply after the farming is complete,
because we know liquidity has been deleted, of course this makes UNI weaker, especially if UNI's supply circulation is already a lot and Demand is low, then UNI will not be able to grow again in terms of price.

Can you share some of the track history of how this situation tend to occur? What I am aware about UNI was promising, and yet this news explodes unexpectedly hearing that the price won't recover. We can't predict what will really happen in the next few months, because cryptocurrency is still developing its strength in order come up a sustainable solutions for our dying assets.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: November 18, 2020, 11:31:54 PM
Bitcoin will make another ATH soon and it may run over the altcoins on its way. However, in the event that your altcoin is one of the best ones, you don't need to stress over it. I think the expansion is very acceptable, however a considerable amount of altcoins have dropped in value on account of the exorbitant cost of bitcoin.

This is already an history of previous bitcoin bounce last 2017, because after that highest climb of btc price altcoins also had a good time pumping. But we didn't know how long we could wait further until such time everything will subside according to normal situations. For now let's just be patient enough since the world still battling economic situation which pandemic really affects the whole world's economy.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 LUCKIEST LOTTERY WINNERS PART 2 on: November 18, 2020, 09:17:35 PM
Because of their number of wins I just remember a movie The Time Travelers Wife.
Because of them I now think that time travel could be true  Grin ,
But they sure are a bunch of lucky person for winning more than once.

Wishing that we could got that lucky charms same with the winners mate, that awesome thing if we do achieve that kind of rewards in gambling. Luck is rarely happening, so we need to purse and don't stop pushing for our future in betting because we don't know what tommorow may bring for all of us. Lol, time traveling was just a movie and reality in life is always the true travel as we lived we're traveling in time.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 18, 2020, 08:35:06 PM
Not all gamblers faced the situation like loosing all the time. If you are clearly deal the gambling on betting and ideal games, you may win more than loosing funds. Sometimes you may get attracted slot roll or lucky spin kind of games, mostly these games users are finding loss more than other way gamblers.

So that means picking good gambling games would give us definite confidence in winning? I think roll and lucky spin doesn't guarantee us a lucky wins based on how I understand with your statement, and  probability of losing such is likely to happen. Experienced gamblers really avoided these games in order to keep their funds and as per observations they're more hesitant with other non profitable betting games.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Markets Correct Resulting to DeFi Tokens Bleed Out on: November 17, 2020, 11:38:38 PM
Bitcoin is at 16k$ again now, and the DeFi tokens and most of the Alts are in red mark again. What are your thoughts on this? Would Bitcoin break 16K$ and make its new ATH? Or would it have pullback again? https://crypto.co/news/crypto-markets-correct-resulting-to-defi-tokens-bleed-out/

This is really hard to predict right now, because most altcoins was really struggling to go up higher. As bitcoin soar higher it pulled down the value of other coins, and there's no progress happening because it still not growing a good price. My thoughts isn't that good, but we need to be strong for the holdings that we had and don't panic. If we lose hope then nothing will happen but failures in the end. So have a strong determination and don't give up as long as cryptocurrency still exists in this world.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Basic Coinbase Trading? Question on Fees on: November 17, 2020, 06:30:15 PM
That is the reason that makes Coinbase a reputable exchange as well as a very powerful exchange in the Crypto market. In terms of security, Coinbase seems to be at the top compared to other Big Exchanges like Binance, Huobi Global or Okex.
The Coinbase fee and interface are both really impressive for its users, but it needs to scale up to Asia in order to grow even bigger. Coinbase's biggest downside is that they limit the country to participate in Coinbase.

I guess they had a serious reasons why they're limiting the countries to do transactions with them. Most particular on asian countries, there's an occurrence of possible hacking on the system that's why some important aspects were seen before implementing this kind of rules. Though it's hard for them to impose this certain regulations, I guess it's only for the benefit of entire trading site. We must consider their conditions at first because our future begins with them during our profit times.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will YFI go down again? on: November 16, 2020, 11:02:41 PM
This is not a good time to buy YFI and hold it. Currently, there are a lot of bad news about Defi trend in general and Defi projects in particular.
As Bitcoin actually grew, it eclipsed Defi's hype, which reduced the transaction volume on Uniswap and had more scam projects than before.
Besides, APY has just been hacked 2 million DAI right in their hot wallet. The security issue of Defi projects is really problematic and investing now is very risky.
Quite honestly the risks of DeFi coins have always been there, what happens is that people ignored those risks because they were happy with the profits that they could get but now that it seems that the DeFi hype has finally died people are not happy that they are being scammed left and right and that they have no way to protect themselves, the truth is that anyone that has experimented the market growth of 2017 knew this was coming and for the most part they left the DeFi market early even if that meant sacrificing some profits just so they could keep their earnings this time around, while all of those that were new to this market and have not experimented those market conditions are still probably holding their coins and are lamenting the fact that they did not sold them earlier.

Many people chooses to hold their coins rather than wasting for a very cheap value, because of the mindset that it will grow after all myths predictions. As DeFi market influenced the entire market, expectations is really a big factor why fascinated followers remained trusting the system and never leave on their backs. This is a biggest challenge to face for several investing as well as traders who delightfully keeping their strong holds for cryptocurrency.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitter accounts of crypto gambling sites on: November 13, 2020, 11:18:46 PM
Very much helpful contacts to know the other contact of each casino that we're gambling. If there's no response of their on-site support, they could go to the forum ann thread and, if still there's no response then that's the time they can also use those twitter accounts to contact for help.
And for updates, they usually use those accounts to post updates that they have including contests and other the same thing.
Yes this is very helpful since social media is the second or third option to contact the casino if they don't manage to reply to the live support or the email. Also just like batang_bitcoin says we could get good information to their twitter account like maintenance updates or something like that.

Hopefully this ways will help many gamblers be attended in their future concerns, because some reports said that some gambling supports won't response on their problems. I'm expecting every twitter accounts for each gambling sites to be more active in social media in order to address everyone for their updates. We need to be feed by legit informations, to avoid certain confusions during site maintenance or whatsoever.
