41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do some people hide to gamble on: April 14, 2024, 01:17:17 PM

So at this point I decided to bring it here to know or see different views from different intellects here on why do some people hide just to gamble or if it is the best way to gamble ?.

Even if we hide with gambling, that doesn't matter as long as you don't bother relatives or even family members with gambling capital you had.
It's an independent decision that we choose to have for each and everyone in this world of cryptocurrency.
Moreover, in crypto currency not all individuals has the knowledge about it most of them only got an idea from physical money or fiat money betting which circulated online on most online casino and not crypto casino.

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: October 06, 2023, 06:32:12 PM
2024 / 2025 (hopefully) will be my first bull run and the majority of my crypto is currently on cold storage and I am wondering if I should get some ETH ready now to pay for fees when it comes to selling or if I should wait till next year when I actually do sell - is there any difference?

I do not hold Ethereum but do have a few tokens that will require me to pay fees so wondering what is best to do have it ready now or if it doesn't matter and just wait till it actually comes to selling and pay then but obviously the price of Ethereum will be a lot higher next year then it is now so thinking is it best to buy now whilst cheaper?

If I think Ethereum price compared 5 years ago, maybe that the definition of cheap price if we compared to latest modern price. The old days is the top opportunity to say that eth brought us a comfortable life in terms of cryptocurrency, same with erc20 platform tokens. My advice to old token holders is to monitor the community where it belongs with, and if there's no future then dump it while there's certain value.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage greed to place your bet on: October 06, 2023, 07:06:33 AM
We can't avoid blaming ourselves when placing small bet if there's an instance that winning huge amount will be possible. However, if you're greed comes so high most probably regrets comes after if losses tend to occur with highest percentage.
Placing a bet should become a mindset, that you can afford to lose that amount of money in order to keep yourself free from frustrations. Always be satisfied of what decision you've come up with.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardwork pays not luck! on: October 05, 2023, 10:45:47 PM
Don't expect much with lotto winnings in times of no assurance, because if you base your life with luck you can't establish a financial stability. In trading your crypto, you should say to it that every decision is in line with your goals and perspectives. If those old days of 2017 and 2018 bounty tokens will again wake up and got good value, I guess that's the very best ideas to take steps. These days I'm still expecting luck from those assets even though the value was zero.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: October 05, 2023, 06:08:36 PM
Yes, Gambling addiction has strained a lot of relationships through financial instabilities emotional turmoil, social isolation, and family problems. Gambling which was meant to be a popular kind of entertainment for many and was designed to provide a temporary escape from everyday life and also help one to be more observant mentally task your brain and it is also good for your mental brain. When it becomes an addiction it causes financial strain the strain can manifest in various ways including the loss of shared savings, debt accumulation, and financial secrecy which may lead to strained communication between partners. This communication breakdown can prevent couples, friends, and associates from working together.

Depending on what idea this gambling will activity will affect each and every relationship, but what's really disturbing was the issues with couples. Friendship and other associated with gambling came from their respective influences. More friends who brought you to the habits will always mold you to be more addicted with gambling, however an addict with gambling will be out of tolerance once they fight with conflict on money owing each other with huge amount that cannot he settled.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: October 04, 2023, 11:11:57 PM
Literally it ruined my peace of mind, many times I was really bothered of several situations like the old coins I had with zero value these days. I was wondering that bull run could take place once again, but it's kinda dream for now. Let's just keep it an inspiration, hopefully in perfect time we'll be able to survive this very rough situation that we've gone through.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage greed to place your bet on: October 03, 2023, 04:17:54 PM
Basically, a person regrets every decision made its because of an idea of winning huge amount of money. What's making it bad in the long run, was the idea of putting your future at risk. You might tend to become more aggressive once you observed from other people's luck. Without thinking your own benefit, but rather the wrong mindset that you became inspired when you saw a person doing the same thing as a winner.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 03, 2023, 01:19:03 AM
My advice to everyone, particular with old people who were not financially able to sustain with this kind of entertainment and luck seeking activity. They shouldn't waste their time and effort, because it has nothing to do good unless they're fortunate to have a good life with retirement benefits. Much better live a simple life and quit gambling addiction, reaching at older age and yet you still gamble for lucking winning from gambling; I guess that's worst enough to say you've been an addict for several years.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: September 29, 2023, 04:23:04 PM
There's no question about their ability with different aspects of trading and skills they acquire, but I guess that's only for forex trading market. If you apply those skills with respect to cryptocurrency, that's totally different since the behavior of the market is volatile and unpredictable. However, technical analysis coming from experts and geniuses of this field of trading would literally come up a 60-70% chances once that principle will be applied radically.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 29, 2023, 04:00:20 AM
Among young people is a result of the availability of gambling alternatives, such as sports betting and online gambling. Gambling disorders can have long-term effects on a person's ability to complete their education and choose their future, and young individuals may be particularly susceptible to acquiring these illnesses
It's similar to drugs, killing a person's future particular to young people who cannot be controlled with their emotions towards gambling. Many times their excuses was only for fun, but the long term effects isn't good day by day.
They tend to become more aggressive and it became their norms as activity of gambling come to a very complicated situation. Most cases linked to taking loans, credit cards and other major loss of funds just to satisfy their cravings for winning an easy money at young age. Parents should be liable to this and it really needs their serious attention.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade only Bitcoin on: September 28, 2023, 11:06:00 PM
It's hard to figure out trading only with Bitcoin, since it has a higher value compared from the last 5 years. So, the only options I got was to invest with altcoins but there's no greater assurance to acquire huge profit because it's more volatile than bitcoin.
Many projects link with different tokens, has a bad reputation due to scammers took advantage with the ico projects and several so called legit platform that don't exist in the market.
Much better, it we only focused with bitcoin while the value was cheaper instead of having some alternatives that has no assurance in the future.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 28, 2023, 03:51:25 PM
A simple question to those who are hoping to profit on the next Bitcoin bull-run:
How do you determine when is the good time to sell?
in other words: how would you know we've reached the peak?

Do you have a set "goal" price at which you'd be selling no matter what happens? Do you intend to sell incrementally as the price goes up? Or maybe when the price gradually drops (e.g. it goes down for X days in a row), indicating we're past the peak?

If I were to decide those days that I still have Bitcoin at my wallet, maybe I shouldn't sell it until the time bullrun hits during pandemic. There no specific goals or targets can be established, because Bitcoin is certainly unpredictable and that's a legit scenario. Everybody was shocked during those old days, and if I could turn back time holding bitcoin will be my most priority. Nowadays, I'm financially drowned because of wrong decisions I've made of my crypto assets during the peak of coins and altcoins.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with spam and scam tokens on my wallet? on: September 28, 2023, 08:49:25 AM
Same here with my trust wallet, I got lots of those shitcoins roaming around binance chain network if I checked it through their chain. These coins has nothing to do with legit project, most of them is confirmed spam and has no value at all. One time a scammer offered my to buy my pi asset holdings, and literally pay me fake usdt but I never trusted the scheme that he used because I found out that it was not a real usdt.

We should be vigilant at all times, never trust the strangers around us especially when it comes to crypto payments. Scammer doesn't care our problems, eventually they're going to be our worst nightmare if we deal with them! so be careful at all times.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you on guard for any unexpected? on: September 27, 2023, 05:56:55 PM
The market still remains unpredictable by now even if there's several hype coming over, but we can't deny the fact that shitcoins was still the hope of everyone to enter the market.
~snip~
You don't have to predict the market because you must know you will fail with your predictions. By unavoidable endings for your predictions, when you know it, you can avoid making predictions. It's good for your investment as you don't believe in your predictions and make bad decisions.

Bitcoin market is volatile but if you can hold your coins, you can get rich. Get rich without any prediction and your task is simple, storing your bitcoin safely and holding it.

How to store it safely?
In non custodial wallets, multisig wallets, hardware wallets and they all must be open source.

Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts
Don't do this and think you are storing and holding your bitcoin safely.

Definitely, I'm still holding cryptocurrency and avoiding market predictions despite the fact that I've faced the death cross of my asset. Patience was really my stand for several years hoping that there's an amazing outcome of my principles and mindset towards the unexpected. It's more like gambling with unexpected chances in life, no matter what would it be; most importantly you're consistent with the target you have in life. Because, giving up has no room for the big dream that's possible to happen.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you on guard for any unexpected? on: September 27, 2023, 03:04:28 PM
The market still remains unpredictable by now even if there's several hype coming over, but we can't deny the fact that shitcoins was still the hope of everyone to enter the market. Partly, that's my opinion because most people have been investing into volatile market which is now part of shitcoins which was their previous asset. However, if unexpected market rise will happen some of those assets will also be part of the progress once there's development in other crypto projects.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 27, 2023, 09:50:26 AM
Production of goods is really a huge problem if there's a presence of conflict between countries, how much more if the government has no control over it. More particular with the wars between countries and different issues that affects the worldwide market. Reduction of price of goods couldn't be made into easier strategy, but we need support from the people within the government connections that will consolidate all requirements needed to be addressed to help underlying concerns be escalated in proper ways.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: September 27, 2023, 01:02:34 AM
I'm not really getting used to TV ads like that on gambling, but most often it was seen on social media platform like Facebook and google play store. My kids and I didn't watch public television anymore, we're more exposed with social media like Facebook, youtube and google. It's kinda disturbing ads when you watch your favorite streaming videos, then suddenly their pop ups programs will appear and influencing through the winning platforms they had. I think that's not an interesting idea about advertisement, since gambling couldn't bring good future to everyone of us, but rather negative effects especially for the kids.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why China Recognize Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2023, 01:02:06 PM
There's a huge reason why China had come up to that certain decisions to choose bitcoin in the first place, but I see it has a lot of advantages in the near future of making our mode payment become digitalize.
The convenience and value of money became more important compared with traditional way of payment which is existing in different parts of the world.
Unfortunately, it's hard to adopt on some countries that's poor in education towards cryptocurrency.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 26, 2023, 10:49:43 AM
In the eyes of an innocent child, the wrong implications of a gambling activities done by every parents who gambles for money will eventually become the right actions for every child. As a strict parenting, that's not recommended to let your kids witness that acts of gambling in front of them. Though you're earnings money from winnings, but I don't think it's appropriate to educate then in an earlier age. They're supposed to study for their future, not to gamble just for luck.
