501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 19, 2019, 02:40:09 AM
If someone bet and he suffers a big loss and then goes here to ask a little help from you, are you willing to give him help?
Have you ever experienced something like that, how do you deal with this loss?

I don't think I can loan him, because this will just push him to gamble more, but if it's an emergency I can give him a loan but if it's because he lost from gambling I don't think I can even if I have a fund, he should learn his lesson not to lose big amount of money and then loan, people should have control on how they gamble and how much money they can allocate.

That's not an appropriate way of helping a person just for a reason that he lost money due to gambling. Maybe I will be more generous to anybody with a truthfulness in their heart while they felt the agony of pain while having problems. To give examples like your loved ones whose in the worst situations like hospitalization bills and funds for medical treatment is the first priority. Loaning for a purpose of gambling entertainment for whatever consideration it is, I can only give money for food and nothing else beyond.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymous Gambling and Self Exclusion on: November 18, 2019, 03:58:46 PM
For gambling owners to make a feature that will allow their gamblers to limit their gambling or to limit their money on betting for a day I think it would likely shrinking their ability to use more than a limit of money can be bothersome to them, in my opinion, they will surely limit certain income, I think the issue of addiction can be settled with the person who is addicted by gambling and not the gambling site, but again it can be done but I think it will work if the gambling site will surely comply if they want to lessen their income in the process.

I think this problem can be taken care of by the relatives of the gambler or the gambler themselves as a gambler I am just limiting my games or bets and the money I will be using for that day I think that would surely lessen the number of losing you can make.

The main reason why that underlying problems keep on happening, that's because a gambler has no will to change himself. Limiting ourselves is really a good advice, and I don't think it was really effective on addicted person because that was not easy for them to let go of that bondage. That needs self reflection and serious rehabilitation before a person would face his struggles of avoiding gambling activities.
There's many diversions that needs to be observed for a long period of time, it can sports or spending times with friends and relatives. This process may took several times to correct those problems behind.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A book about success and failure in crypto. on: November 18, 2019, 03:16:53 PM
I want to write up a book about what it takes to create a successful crypto in 2020, why great development is not enough and that your team needs funding, promoters, market makers, high profile exchange partners and digital marketing etc. The importance of
institutional investment and why the rich are needed to make a successful project.

Etherium and Tron will be examples of successful projects with their own strengths. Etherium on why funding is important, Tron for it's exceptional marketing. Dash and XMR will also get mentions.

Gulden will be the example used as a failed project with great development and non anon innovation. It was tough finding a project that is still doing development, only listed on 2 exchanges, A low marketcap, low volume with a largish working class (poor) community and nothing else going for it.

Just wanted to find out from the bitcointalk community if a book like this would be of interest to them.

What you will write actually is it the whole market  situation or you want to cover a selected alts here? If that so maybe you should pay an amount for certain interview of user of the alts you've  mentioned so that you will get a clear  inputs of the development happen on them for the past  years and by this  you can write a great book since it is been done thru research and not by just a single observation.

Gathering accurate data was difficult to do if the person to be interviewed was not meet personally. Most communications of these modern times were done through telegram or messenger chats. We really don't know how honest are they to provide us legit details, unless both parties will meet in person, or there will be open forum organized by a certain sector who will handle discussions for crypto at a specific community at your local place. Indeed, reliable books should be compiled with trusted ideas and nearly perfect articles to satisfy the potential reader's interest in crypto.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving Price Prediction $55,000 - $130,000 on: November 18, 2019, 02:26:15 PM
That price is quite feasible to believe than other predictions, although we're still not sure. Another thing to note is that the bubble won't happen immediately after the halving, but rather several months after it happened. As of now, the price steadily hovers around 8k$ and even though it might experience dumps, I'm not that worried and still anticipate for the guaranteed price uptrend.

In my opinion it normally happens since  there are so many factors that we needed consider by now and although we  are experiencing the stable price at   8k$ or maybe we can see a more dump to 7k$ but most provably we can see a price change when the halving nearly comes although it's not a guaranteed speculation since this is all talk but we try to see the halving history and  how it works provably we will get a positive outputs on what great opportunity  for holders to come next year.

There's no problem with talking in brilliant expectations with speculative projections, but the reality will disappoint us when it doesn't take place. Once halving will occur randomly, all potential price predictions will likely be going to happen because the volatile market always changes in an unpredictable trend. That would be unstoppable when green days happened for cryptocurrency. Always stay focus on monitoring, don't listen to FUD, since it was pulling us down towards regrets when we try to catch their deceptive ideas.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 18, 2019, 01:21:14 PM
For me crypto gambling is the best option. Despite its volatility I can avoid a lot of fees I would have to pay through fiat gambling. As we can convert crypto to fiat anytime, the main issue that is volatility can also be avoided.
Furthermore it's much faster to start playing at different crypto gambling sites than playing at fiat casino sites which will ask for a lot of informations, confirmations and don't expect the registration happens smoothly.

That's advantageous when a person who used to participate in gambling using crypto is knowledgeable on this field of digital currency. I think there were still few people who were aware of betting with the use of crypto like bitcoin and ethereum, most of them are particular with fiat as a mode of their gambling investments.
However, we really don't know how they appreciate the goodness and positive effect on them if they experience the comfort that virtual money can provide them in a long period of time. It can be good or bad, depending on the ways of handling their funds.
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with USDT or BTC? on: November 18, 2019, 02:32:39 AM
Choosing these two currency is a wise decision, while seeking a sustainable asset. If you're a holder and you wanted to earn a good potential with your asset, usdt has no bigger drop during fluctuations so that's good when trading bitcoin while you're waiting for some declined value. The price won't go down at higher percentage, and you'll be able to hold enough amount of crypto in order to control your possible loss. Both usdt and BTC will be a good match for trading on short or long term goals.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP demand liquidity on: November 17, 2019, 11:20:29 AM
At every possible occasion I repeat that XRP is a speculation tool and a money making machine for banksters. Let no one invest in it in the long term, because they can increase their total supply several times at any moment and the price will fall to the bottom! Forget about XRP.

Yes I don't know when will users realize that XRP was created by the bankers and we should just look back at first quarter of 2018 and learn the lesson as no matter what the value of XRP stands at, but the developers can being it down by pouring more supplies in the market and we should not be investing into Ripple and only greedy person who is here just to make money on short term may invest into Ripple when the price increases. I have pledged not to invest into it as it's against the basic idea of crypto currency.

For me, just calling XRP a cryptocurrency is a mistake. I admit that sometimes I use XRP but only to withdraw funds from exchanges, because they often have the lowest fees for withdrawals. This is the only plus of this currency, although Litecoin is becoming competitive, so if someone has to use XRP because of the fee, then check LTC first, because it may turn out to be the same amount, and if it is not possible, then immediately after withdrawal change XRP for any REAL cryptocurrency.

that is exactly what traders are doing. i'm not sure if they are doing it but if they can save this much by using xrp for withdrawal fees, arbitrage could be very profitable for them.  if the price of xrp though is going to rise as expected by people who had been praying for bullrun, the transaction fee could also rise a bit as well. XRP is sure going to also be pumped when the bulls take over as its one top coin, the only problem with xrp is that is not a perfect coin as garlinghouse claim and being centralize as a feature ain't helpful for the trust.

To tell you the truth, I don't know how and who sets the fees for transfers and withdrawals in XRP, so I don't know if it will change in the case of a pump. However, certainly all XRP price movements are controlled by developers - i.e. banks, so whatever happens, they will not lose on it, customers will lose, i.e. XRP owners.

That a prerogative of a business owner who kept their system stable and gainful opportunity to people. They shouldn't lose their chain of finances to sustain a strong marketing. Customers only lose because of panic, and wrong choices which fails in the midst of their holdings. Although the price was controlled by developers, I am still hopeful that xrp would come to a point that it reach an outstanding value that will satisfy our motivations in gaining profits.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Portfolio update , your thought please on: November 17, 2019, 09:03:13 AM
Cardano just a %$^ coin
I know what you mean, but there is nothing wrong with betting on Cardano.

In my opinion altcoin is the right one to hold, it's just a pity there is no ETH on the list, if possible just add a little ETH from reducing 2% on each Cardano, Neo, Raven.

I think our friend missed to add eth as his pick for the list he had. With regards to those set of altcoins blockfolio, those are potentially developing a good price when it fully reach the best days. For now, we might think we're not yet fortunate to see better value on our holdings but I know this was just temporary and we will survive sooner until perfect market happens.
509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 things you need to know before trading crypto on: November 16, 2019, 09:36:09 PM
definitely only invest what you can afford to lose. I'm glad that HODLing is working for you - I mean, it is a proven strategy. Diversifying a portfolio (like yours is) is also important.
Holding works when you are dealing with coins that are worth holding, but there are some coins that you have to risk and use to trade in a short time before they dump because once they dump, you may never get that opportunity again to withdraw from them as the value would have been too low.

It is very necessary to diversify because I don’t think we will make it that much if we rely on a particular altcoin, except maybe bitcoin that has covered it all, but it is a very wise thing to do when we share our money into coins that we can be sure will give profit yield in the future so that when a coin is yet to rise, the other one we diversify into can rise and give us the profit on investment with them, but we have to do a very good research in choosing this action of diversifying into many projects.

Diversifying on a legit on several projects can be tough and difficult, since we're still having serious struggles to face on wards. That can be more challenging if you didn't have enough capital to cover the possible losses that we're about to have once we got involved seriously with trading. Furthermore, it needs a decisive ability so that we may focus on a certain asset to buy and trade in the future of our potential profit gains. You can eventually determine which of the factors we need to have before trading, just choose one of them to avoid uncertainties.
510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Curious for places for trading Crypto on: November 16, 2019, 08:51:38 PM
You can trade in the 10 best and most trusted bitcoin trading places, and choose the best bitcoin or cryptocurrency trading sites and volume rankings based on analyst data for the past year that can make money through trades such as, Binance, Bitfinex Bittrex, Bitmex, Huobi and Kraken.
and many others, but you must choose one that is trusted and many people use it.

Looking on those exchanges you've mentioned here, I prefer to choose only one of them based on the advice that you have given. Binance is my fist pick, because I considered it as trusted by most people around the globe. They didn't have any unfavorable issues raised by anybody whose been trading on this exchange and I really can recommend this trading site for everybody who still finds a better place to trade.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin could reach $1,000 in a couple of years from now on: November 16, 2019, 08:23:20 PM
i totally agree with this man, i have also been quite positive about LTC lately. i have been buying my ass off any chance i can get since it went under 80
i think its only gotten stronger since Charlie lee stepped back too
The only thing with LTC is just it's PoW, new tech could come at anytime, or some sort of asicboost for LTC, and we could see alot more miner sell pressure Sad
1000$? i dont think so, but 250$ for sure by 2020 imo

I also entered but actually before it reached $80, so I was very happy when $300 came. I still held on because I wanted it to be $500 and I still have hopes now, more than disappointment since I would never have sold anyway.

I still add every now and then, but not buying my ass off. Bitcoin will always be the big choice, no matter how much I actually do like LTC;)

Well you lose your possible profit on the past volatility since there so many upside down happened and provably there are so many people earned with it but I cannot blame you to uphold since maybe you are at lose if I'm not wrong if you sale it these days. Maybe in future if good things maybe we can see it reach to 300$ up to 1000$ each .

And also better to ride on with ETH since the probability to get profit is still high and the price is so cheap these days.

That price you've been talking was so hard to meet, and I better choose to pick eth by now since it was getting too much potential while having cheap price. Also, the price haven't loss that much although bitcoin price lately down turned at $8400 which is good to see, because every time btc drops; it's really affecting huge percentage on most of the following currencies.
This has stabilized today, hopefully on the coming days or the holiday season this December we will be able to experience awesome price increase on our holdings; it could be ltc,eth and other popular coins next to btc.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties on: November 16, 2019, 01:41:30 PM
Any one of you who knows what bounty campaign is a must join?

There is no such "must join" words in term bounty campaign. It should be based on your own consideration and  decision cause most of things here are full of uncertainty, it is also gonna be involving your time, efforts, idea and anything so make sure everything is under your control. You never know, if maybe something looked great yesterday but just turned into scam today.

Our previous experience is the proof, in order let other hunters to keep themselves away from any bounties this time. We can't afford to get fooled by anybody whose anonymously handling projects without an assurance to gain a prosperous results. I can only be confident to expect more potential success when there's a full recovery of altcoins, but for a meanwhile I can barely say it was until further notice.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: November 16, 2019, 01:05:30 PM
At first there's no consideration if we're going to loss an amount of money which we didn't expect. When I summarize all money I have wasted since I was going gambling at my local lottery area until now, I probably can buy a low costs housing on that. Without any knowledge on financial literacy, all of us could likely fall on losing such amount of money without knowing it. Our desires to win with gambling, was really frustrating once we encounter more losses in the midst of the pressures.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 15, 2019, 01:24:17 PM
Come on man, they are professionals of course they know their roles in the team and that would make them grow as a team and as a teammate.
There are also other professionals who doesn't follow their rule, they want to lead a team and they want to be called as the main man, but PG is different because he was very effective playing in the OKC before and its only westbrook who had a very bad season.

I can only think of one NBA player that looks like does not know how to cooperate with his teammate, and I believe its Carmelo Anthony which was a star but until now he was not signed in any team yet.

PG is not someone that a kind of player who takes the game without concerning about the teams goals. I mean this guys we're talking about want to win championship and all he needs to do is to cooperate with his teammates.

He hasn't won an MVP award yet but we know he plays like an MVP, when he is needed he always perform like what he did during his time with the Pacers if you still remember. I believe he was not the main man back then but he develop to become a star in the team.

His performance is worth for what he was now, and as the improvement move along his journey with the team I think he had a greatest asset to become an MVP. Although there's an impression that he used to have skills that an MVP had, I guess it's always possible to happen in the next upcoming games that he would about to play. That's how it works when this guy rules the court, so let's see what this man can do to make his team worthy for championship.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the Bounty program is over? on: November 15, 2019, 03:10:30 AM
Bounty programs was still present this year, the actual progress cannot be determined even they started at the middle of the year. That doesn't have a good impressions coming from many people, because if you're going to review and compared it with 2017; bounty program in 2018 until 2019 has no assurance to gain successful results based on how I rated it. We're still struggling to have a good market for the recovery of whole cryptocurrency community, not just with bitcoin but also for all coins who've been part of crypto economy.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: November 14, 2019, 01:13:23 PM
This is a time to buy for those altcoin that are worthy to invest. These days I am not into buying old or new altcoins since I have already altcoins held in my wallet for long since the market is not in good condition. Well a good chance for those who accumulate more alts, in me instead of buying alts I prefer to add my bags of accumulating btc.

Our choice depends on how motivated we are, and when choosing bitcoin as main asset I think that's a wise decision. Altcoins was just a secondary priority and not good for long terms, unless the community of a certain alts has an active development on their respective project bodies. The ways of choosing a good alts cannot be determined by promotion or nice presentation. What's very important is the longevity of a coin which can sustain for long years, same with bitcoin's journey all throughout the years.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coca cola bottlers use Blockchain on: November 14, 2019, 08:32:01 AM
That is really appreciable work for having blockchain in order to serve their purpose, but this is not any healthy news for the cryptocurrency platform, I think cryptocurrency platform should reform and a set of regulation will bring back to its credibility to the people and in this way, People will use this platform for their own life, But coca-cola is just using the blockchain system for their own purpose, it's true that when Blockchain system will get popularity then people will also use this system and Cryptocurrency will also get popularity in this way, It's really a good issue that such a giant company Coca Cola is using Blockchain system, so the time is not so far where people avail this system for everyday use.
Always find for the good side of this news, and yes you mentioned regarding to blockchain it will surely drag crypto once those people who will be interested regarding to this system. The chance of adopting not only blockchain but also the crypto currency industry. Good start even it's not directly for crypto but still there's a good side if we are optimistic regarding to this industry.
It seems Blockchain is now becoming a trend, it is now being used by big companies and even some countries. If Blockchain began to be used across the world there's a chance that it can drag up the cryptocurrencies as well. If Coca-Cola had acknowledge the utilization of Blockchain, other big companies will eventually use this kind of technology. This could give a hype for investors to place investment and that would definitely be a good cause for Crypto industry.

We don't know yet until it's going to happen actually, and if this will probably creat a hype for investors the market should recover ultimately before seeing productive results. Great trend should start from an outstanding demand outbreak, that the people should patronize bitcoin as their daily method of payment. The utilization of Coca cola using blockchain is one good example for other businesses who haven't yet tried to implement this thing with their system. Because of this idea, more potential changes might further be improved in the future once this becomes a global standards.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many ICO and IEO are you already following? on: November 13, 2019, 11:24:55 PM
Today I've decided to sell my car to invest in IEO or ICO.
Is my decision right?
Is it with a lot of investing in IEO can refund my money?
You can return your money if the IEO project you choose shows a positive trend, but if it is negative you must be prepared to lose your money and even everything.
But if you already want to invest, I think you should diversify some IEO projects to reduce your risk of loss.

Our friend has the burning sensation on his decision and we should respect that. This a big risk for me to consider, since selling a valuable things like car just for an IEO investment is somewhat a brave actions. It's a case to case basis, whether each project that we are involved with will prosper, so as we expect for the return of our money I can't guarantee to avoid being emotional in the long run. Human nature will exist, worries, anxieties and panic will tend to happen along the journey of the project.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your price prediction of binance coin? on: November 13, 2019, 11:33:26 AM
Crypto experts

you have personally lowered the meaning of the word "expert" to a new low record.
the "actual experts" are predicting that centralized coins have an expiration date and will die sooner or later and binance coin is one of the most centralized coins among them.
on top of that, it is super pumped and that means although it can still be pumped but it is getting increasingly difficult to keep its price up.

When that reached the pumped price, certainly it would be difficult to rise even though there's probability on crypto market to have bullrun price. We can't expect bnb's certralized advantage will create a strong momentum, that definitely withstand during quick increase happens. There's no expert on that matter, unless you're one of the biggest investors who could initiate the best trades over their capital and can handle crucial situations specially when their holdings unexpectedly crashes.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: November 13, 2019, 03:23:18 AM
That's one of the most craziest thing that I've heard about gambling addiction. I meant it can be so dangerous to even let people kill themselves. Hopefully, I'm not addicted to gambling, I mean a few months ago I was gambling regularly, but I was at the point to get addicted to be honest, but I just controlled myself because it could be even worse later. Addicted people should start to stay away from gambling slowly and trying to quit this field as soon as possible. It's not even a good field to earn money, because it's all about luck.

Those mentioned scenario was the result of their stress beyond what's happening on them at very worst stage. I couldn't say it's a final conclusion not to be addicted just what you've said mate, but first and foremost I am always trying not to be on that level. With that idealism of luck, I always think of that this gambling cannot be relied on in terms of profit or a daily source of living; this is all about entertainment.
