761  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bitmine CoinCraft Series Users Thread - Troubleshooting, Efficiency, O/C on: May 05, 2014, 02:42:07 PM
anybody can help to setup the miner for p2p pool ? -> i lose over 10 % in normal config...
762  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 04, 2014, 11:14:23 PM
@Bitmine:
1) Rig update please.
2) Low power mode update please. An ultra efficient mode was a big selling point for me, and would extend the profitable operating life of the rigs. Very interested in progress here.

+1

and the config for p2p pool, please...

is anybody in an p2p pool ? -> the miner runs 50 - 150 gh/s lower is this pool.... GRML...

is there an solution ?

You would expect a higher hardware error rate when chips clock higher, that is completely normal.

If the unit shuts down in high power mode, it is probably because the PSU is not providing enough energy, and it trips the PSU brakers.

Normaly .

BUT
Technobits HEX8A1 is based on CC A1 Chips and the Layout and Stability ist much much better.
I overclocked 8 A1 Chips (25ghs each = 200 GHS ) to 272 and NO !!!! HW Errors.

On the CCD i will assume  5-10% Power from Nominal Mode  and get 1600 HW Errors in1h or so ?

Its the Design or the Firmware . Crappy

how much power for 272 GH ??
765  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 03, 2014, 04:10:55 PM
in turbo ligh i get around 0,66 % HW Error -> i thinks its ok...

anybody how has an solution for the problem ?
adapter from 8 pin to 6 pin ?

the problem is that i can't go higher than "turbo light" -> in each higher mode the psu shutdown after 30 - 60 minutes.... and in the extreme turbo mode the psu shutdown after 2 sec
766  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 03, 2014, 03:59:55 PM
Can you not buy another PSU to PCIE adapter to plug into one of the cpu things on the PSU, as they offer the same 30A?

i search an adapter from cpu 8 pin -> to pci, but i can't find... or an other solution, bitmine don't help  Angry
767  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 03, 2014, 03:54:29 PM
@Wolke :

Did you think its lower the HW Error Rate if all Modules get 30 A ?

so i need an adapter... or an technical person how can tell me in details how to build... Smiley
768  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 03, 2014, 03:46:27 PM

yes -> but the problem is that these 10 pcie conncectors are only on 4 "rails"....  v3, v4, v5, v6

so i need an adapter from the 8pin cpu to 6 pin pci.... for the rail v2
769  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 03, 2014, 03:41:56 PM

yes -> from this psu to the module

774  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Eligius -> PayOut Que ? on: May 02, 2014, 12:24:52 PM
Hallo,

was hat es bei Eligius mit der PayOut Que auf sich ?

Warum hat man keine Möglichkeit von einem Manuellen PayOut bzw. muss lange auf seine Coins warten ?

so i test the new clocking options, these are the results that i get:

power save ultra
~710 Watt = ~740 GH/s
0,95 Watt per GH/s

power save moderate
~770 Watt = ~808 GH/s
~0,95 Watt per GH/s

power save light
~940 Watt = ~940 GH/s
~1 Watt per GH/s

normale mode
~1040 Watt = ~1020 GH/s
~1,01 Watt per GH/s

turbo light
~1140 Watt = ~1080 GH/s
~1,05 Watt per GH/s

turbo moderate
~1330 Watt = ~1140 GH/s
~1,16 Watt per GH/s

turbo extreme
not testet, because the system starts for a second and than go down... i think it can be a problem with the psu, i musst test it

the HW in alls mode are under 1 % -> i get this result with the tool  "cgremote"...

Thank you Wolke for this detailed report, can you tell me what PSU do you have mounted in the unit?

hehe no problem...i was interested what is possible.... i bought the psu's from LEPA -> G1600-MA-EU ( http://www.lepatek.de/g1600/ ),
i bought it because i get this psu for a special price, i paid only 219 € inkl. tax for each...

Ok, the PSU looks good in wattage but possibly you have not equally distributed the 12V rails available on the 5 slots. Can you please make sure from the manufacturer's manual that each card would be able to get up to 30-35A each?

year thats the problem... at the moment i use 4 rails from the psu -> because 4 rails come with ready pci'e connectors.... i know that this is the problem, but i don't know how to build the requird connector :-( ....

can you help ?

Thanks a lot for information @wolke. You tested it with a full populated CoinDesk (1TH)?

I have a 4 module coindesk with a psu of 1000W (original from bitmine).
If I take the numbers of power consumption above, this is what I get:

4 modules in turbo moderate -> 1330W@5modules -> 1064W@4modules -> my delivered psu cannot handle it!

So I just can run the miner in "turbo light" mode and get an additional ~5% hashrate increase. HuhHuhHuhHuh

I will check it today, if the values are correct what I believe, it's another fail from bitmine for me. I'm so sad of all the stuff coming from switzerland.

no problem, yes this test was with a full CoinCraft Desk 1TH/s....
