Its not fair and all of people, you saved 42-coin a while back and this is how Crytopia pays back??/ Just remember is always better to keep your crypto's in your local crypto wallet , backup and long password secured!!
Hi, sirslayer. Oh no, the emus aren't pets. They're wild -- tame, but wild. I live in a faraway farmhouse, and they will walk right up to you. Loss of 42? It's a hard thing for many to understand: but 42-Coin is, to my knowledge, the only truly deflationary 'instrument.' (I don't think of it as a crypto). Any loss of 42 makes all the rest more valuable. IndiaMikeZulu

The Cryptopia situation has hit hard indeed. I have been looking for other exchanges to get listed on, but currently with no success. (Mostly because of listing fee, and high volume requirement.)
I have sent an message to YoBit, and explaining why their node isn't up-to-date.
Checked Yobit today -- I won't trade there, but I have an account -- and our wallet is off-line again.

'Staying away from bitcoin' https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-03/druckemiller-dumps-all-his-stocks-piles-treasuries-expecting-rates-hit-zero Well, let's have a little look at this logic. The essence of the article is that interest rates -- across the world, that is -- will sink through zero, into negatives. Okay. And what will that produce (especially as the global economy is, at this point, clearly weakening . . . )? Oh, that's an easy answer: there'll be money-printing on an unprecedented scale. Bizarro World on steroids. China and Japan will go nuts. MMT will spark off all over the place. Apart from regulations and all other drama, all hard-cap POW cryptos repesent a safe haven -- in the mid-term. And I'm surprised a guy as bright as this doesn't see the connection

(Will I buy 50k XJO at 6 sats? Yeh.)

Much too long since I posted here! And I must patiently update my knowledge of the various wallets.
Details soon, but Jackie is helping me with a little idea (over on the groestlcoin.org site), a 'Krypto Kindergarten.' I am patiently looking over the texts on this site -- the wallet download sections, etc.IndiaMikeZulu

2.35-2.22 is our Live Coin spread at this second. That's just 5%.
This is excellent. We need more volume -- larger orders. And we want to narrow that spread to maybe three percent. But this 'tightness' makes Forty Two attractive.

Hey ya, dals. Betcha you don't get a reply from Yobit! They aren't really into communication -- but XJO is being traded there today: https://yobit.net/en/trade/XJO/BTC

FYI: appears yobit withdrawal is open. They are synced to "Wallet status: Online (3555461 blocks)" while wallet and block explorer both show 4071841 Mon May 27 22:00:26 2019. The address supplied by yobit doesn't show in block explorer, so I am assuming they are on a different XJO chain than the main/current chain.
EDIT: Sent a test Amount and address shows in BE, not expecting it to arrive anytime soon since its 500k blocks behind, but will update in future if it does.
Thanks for this. Would much appreciate an update -- the Wallet in Maintenance scam has been going on for at least years. A worrying drop in price -- 'crash' is a more honest word -- on exchange.thecoin and Nova: https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_XJO/Akaro!! Nice to see you here. IndiaMikeZulu

'some type of legendary coin that nobody wants to sell'
This was posted on Telegram. What a compliment!!
And I will post the Live Coin buy-sell spread on the Tgram thread: it's the best data we have, but folks who don't have LC accounts can't see it.
And yesterday I was talking to a dev about developing a 'Krypto Kindergarten' where newcomers can learn the basics: setting up and synching, OPSEC, paper wallets.
IndiaMikeZulu
EDIT I think we already have a replacement paper-wallet generator. Will confirm.

I've lost some xbc on the cryptopia "hack", the current exchanges where xbc is listed are lame maybe we can put xbc on a decentralised exchange?
Yep decentralized exchanges where developers can load up their own client are the way to go alright.Any suggestions? On another note I heard Novaexchange are accepting listings from coins affected by cryptopia closure and developers are asked being to contact them. Not sure how good the exchange is but maybe something worth looking into? Nova okay. Re-launched after long-ish shutdown. European, so full KYC/AML. I couldn't make it through that process, so backed out. I follow two coins on Nova, but don't trade there. IndiaMikeZulu

Hey, Tinno.
We relaunched a couple of years ago, with Lasergun as our dev. For me the attraction is the actual deflation. Meanwhile, the second crypto winter has been hard on most cryptos. We held our value extremely well for a time, then settled to a lower level, where we have recently been satisfyingly solid.
We have a sufficient suite of exchanges -- with a DEX -- but Cryptopia's collapse has been a loss.
IMHO we have a year or two of hard work ahead of us, but as the financial crisis choofs along, people will look for hard-core deflationary "instruments".

Altcoin Prices in Coming Months
Guys, two things generally happen. One: if Bitcoin rips up in price for a day or two, many folks will dump their altcoins, and jump on the passing Bitcoin wagon: altcoin prices go down,
And the second thing is: if Bitcoin begins to rip up in price, and then continues to increase, the altcoins – after first dipping in price, as described above -- will roar up in price even further.
But perhaps the pattern this time – the end of the Second Crypto Winter – will be a little different because the tightening of KYC/AML on centralised exchanges has taken some of the ‘Wild West’ out of crypto markets. Bitcoin is trending upwards, but it’s not a ‘rip.’ So altcoin prices are sort of going sideways.
But if Bitcoin continues to steadily rise in price, that will bring capital back to cryptos overall, and altcoins will benefit.

Heck, this may be what I've been looking for all along: https://joulecoin.info/encrypt.htmlPlease, everyone, jump in and help me understand and trial this. EDITCreate a key, and paste it into the 'Key' slot -- 'asdfasdfff' will do. Then start type a message -- 'Cow goes moo' -- into the Message slot. The encrypted message -- the 'output' -- will appear: U2FsdGVkX180BnuTBKArIOzV1qmNmn7c5Mmsb4bkQlU= Now try to decrypt: Key in; output in; press 'Enter'; decrypted message should appear.

https://exchange.thecoin.pw/ -- here is the new trade.thecoin.pw exchange. We are, at this very moment, shuffling from old to new. Got volume on both today -- tiny, but volume. The old exchange will begin closing down within days. So, campers, the 'real' XJO exchange from now on is exchange.thecoin.pw. I am gonna go hard on it. [Yobit's spread is 'fake': no withdrawals available.] EDIT Transfer complete. Exchange.thecoin is now XJO's 'real' exchange.
