emkay, your last post has been edited in such a way as to suggest that your words are mine. Can you sort this please because we don't want to misrepresent ourselves. I hope your delivery issues get resolved in a timely manner. Ken, could you look into this personally and post back when you have the situation sorted. We need to avoid bad PR like this and emkay's order should have been dealt with as a priority due to its high profile nature. Yes I know people shouldn't get preferential treatment but getting this guys hardware out to India was an opportunity to demonstrate how well ActiveMining could get products to its customers, not highlight weaknesses in this area. Why not set up the first one today instead of waisting your time on this forum and see if the rest arrive in the next couple of days before condemning AMC? That would be a bizarre way to ship multiple products that were all in stock to a country as far away as India. Which I believe is where emkay is located. I think is assumption that there was a screw up is entirely reasonable. I just got informed , that they shipped in 5 different boxes .

Ah, I see. Now maybe we ought to encourage customers to use the other threads instead of inviting them to update us throughout the entire process on this one. Just a thought. Have anyone else , except Bargraphics , received their Prospector Boards ?
I converted my November Paid Pre-Order to Prospector boards 12 days back .
Its been showing ''Shipped'' Since 2 days , But i have not been provided with any tracking number .
What is the status Ken , Please provide the tracking info .
You should be able to contact customer service with issues like these. I'd be curious to hear how easy it is for customers to get in touch with VMC through the proper channels. Could you try and report back? I have ask the project manager to have the staff enter the tracking information into the shopping cart. Guys , I have finally received the tracking number , and it shows ''Picked Up'' . I got a bit confused as i thought it to be a DHL shipping , But i read it here , that ken stated FED-Ex guys will be picking it up . So , i tried the tracking number on Fed-Ex page , It worked I appreciate it Ken , Sorry to bug you with tons of messages :p I cant believe this is happening . After waiting for almost 20 days , I receive only 1 prospector board , and not 5 which i ordered . Ken , this is really not fair . You made me wait for so long , i placed and order for 5 Prospector boards and you just send me 1 . I really can't believe this is happening . Ken , where are my other 4 boards ? I even ordered a few Harness Kits around a week back , even that has not been shipped yet . Ken , please speed up your logistics , I don't seem to understand why would it take 20 days to ship out a few boards which where placed on order together . If its going to take more time to ship out , let me know , i might be able to arrange a friend of mine to pick those up from you and my friend can DHL it to me . Ken , please sort this out . |

Finally , After 12 Days and many messages to Ken , My order status now shows ''Shipped'' . Still , I have not yet been provided with the tracking number , Its almost been a day , its been showing ''Shipped'' status . I have sent PM to Ken , To provide me with the tracking number and stuff . I am all set with everything else , I've got 5 sets of 650RM & H80i's and all the other cables and screws and stuff . Just waiting for those Prospector Boards . Check it out - http://imgur.com/nlChbIoIt took awhile to get all of our logistics in place for orders. We now have the products boxed a ready to ship. All we need to do is put a FedEx address label on them and FedEx picks up at our warehouse at 4PM PDT every weekday. So, shipping will be a lot faster now. Thanks Ken . And guys its shipped out already , Just waiting for the tracking info . Sorry, for taking so long to ship, we had to get a lot of logistics in place. Now, we will be able to ship a lot faster. does your one prospector work? i have many that no one can seem to get to work. i ordered as early as august.
Don't know , still waiting for he 5pin to USB female . Will most probably hook it up tomorrow . |

Heya,
I can't figure out how to get this board to talk to the computer. When I plug it in I get a Easy CD emulator thing. Running CG miner does not see the device.
The 'official' thread leaves a big hole in the instructions where there should be a command to run CG miner. There's a reference to using WinUSB in some way but no instructions on how to do that.
Does anyone have a Prospector Fat Has running and if so what command did you use with CG miner to start mining and how did you get the computer to see the mining board?
If someone can help this customer out. Don't the boards work with default cgminer config? Run the CGMINER compiled for HashFast boards . Its on the HashFast thread somewhere ... search it here somewhere - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426644.100 Also , The standard version of CGMINER also supports Hash Fast Boards , I guess the prospector board should appear as '' HFB '' in CGMINER . |

VMC:
Lot of our Pre-Order customers are taking advantage of our offer. We expect to update our website soon and to start pushing the sales of our stock.
This is not so true also . We pre-order customers are trying to take the advantage . But it doesn't seem to work .
I placed an order to convert my pre-order to the prospector boards . I did it 8 days back . After about a lot of messages to VMC .
They changed my status to '' Preparing Order '' 4 days back and since 2 days its been showing '' Awaiting Carrier Pick-up '' .
Ken , would you please speed up the process ? This is no where immediate delivery ....
I haven't seen anyone here receiving their prospector boards expect of Bargraphics .
Please ship the products ASAP , So that we can post the delivery here , and more people can trust in VMC , and go place an order for the boards .

Also in India , The custom officers are too greedy and are always looking for bribe to clear the package .
Indian customs held my KnC miner jupiter for 8 days , and eventually i had to bribe them to clear my package .
I don't know how the invoice thing is going to work out , as i paid through bank wire from my company .
And at the customs they ask for the Performa Invoice , and that states that i purchased a product for 9,200USD .
And now these boards will come along with a different invoice stating different amount as well .
So , I am praying for everything to go smoothly .
Definitely let us know how it goes. It will be an interesting case study in international shipping. For sure . Ill keep it updated here . |
