You missed the VTC train by a few days mate.

But really, you can't take anyone's word here. You should do your own research in wich coins would be good.

And btw, you won't just find a coin with 10x-30x guaranteed. If that waas the case we'd all be millionaires.

i already rode vertcoin wave after selling my CGB, i covered my losses with CGB and made good profit from vert, now i sold vert.

I want new coin to invest Smiley

I'd be buying the cheap VTC again if i were you, no 20x return but a really high chance of a quick 2-5x return

Indeed, might be stupid but try to type your password ALOT of times in word for example. Take not of every time you hit a wrong key here and try that combination then.

Another suggestion might be that you had capslock on? Or your numlock off? You might even have had your keyboard settings wrong, on English for example when you meant it to be on Dutch or something, you can solve this with Ctrl-shift.

Hope this helps

What's the premine?

All of them.   As a bonus this makes the coin ASIC proof.

LOL made my day

433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VTC] Vertcoin - Adaptive N-factor in Scrypt - No more ASICs on: February 06, 2014, 05:49:11 PM
Considering this was announced on January the 8th and today is February the 6th

In only 29 days 1.5 Million VTC have been mined.

Coin settings :

Block time: 2.5 minutes
Block Rewards: 50 coins per block
There should be 576 blocks per day

Theoretically we should have this :
16,704 blocks mined by today resulting in 835,200 coins

In reality we have this :
30,707 blocks mined by today resulting in 1,535,400 coins

So there's nearly double the amount of VTC than there should be.

WTF ?

That's because the blocks are generated faster than 2,5 min. Hence the ever increasing difficulty

So only the difficulty readjustment is broken, not the whole coin ?

No, the difficulty readjustment isn't broken. The total hashrate is just ever increasing, wich means that as soon as the difficulty is adjusted more hashrate comes in meaning the blocks will be solved faster than 2,5 min again. Ofcourse the difficulty will adjust accordingly again but as long as the hashrate is growing the blocks will be solved faster than 2,5 min. As soon as hashrate stabalizes we'll see the intended 2,5 min blocks

Guys, before posting bullshit understand how coins work.
This KGW work perfect. Target is to solve a block each 2.5 minutes, independent whatever hash comes into the coin

KGW wasn't implented right at the start so blocks were solved alot faster before KGW was implented.

I see so it was an 'instamine', by accident of course ?

Well to be really honest i've got no idea why there are alot more coins in circulation, was just thinking of possibility's why this is the case.

I'm sure the dev will be able to answer your question tho.

435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predict the first trade price of Maxcoin on: February 06, 2014, 05:41:21 PM
Does anyone know that reward rate of maxcoin? that will help us a predict a fair price.

Yes..

The network will have a 30 second block time and an initial reward of 96 coins.

so about 2000-3000 coins per day?

No, 2 * 60 = 120
     120*24=2880 blocks a day
120*96= 276480 coins a day if the blocktime really was 30 sec.

However on the first day/first few days it'll prolly be alot more.
