2  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Metaverse still a thing on: October 20, 2022, 10:59:53 PM
Zuckerberg’s defenders, largely his Silicon Valley peers who seem worried that the feelings of a megabillionaire might be hurt, urged consumers and critics to take a wait-and-see approach. “The folks who are shitting on Zuck re Oculus should shut up,” tweeted the investor Michael Seibel. “He is trying to invent something new. Just give him some time to try.”  Cheesy

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be the reason some people are afraid to invest in Bitcon? on: October 13, 2022, 06:36:50 PM
The typical human mind initially considers the fictitious drawbacks and rejects the possibility of another type of money. However, a growing number of individuals are visiting exchanges like Binance, Primexbt, Kraken, etc. People are afraid because they were taught to be afraid as child. This is, unfortunately, what the educational system does.

I am also a victim. Wish I had joined this forum earlier.

Maybe it's a good thing to be afraid to invest in bitcoin, it's a natural protection. In my opinion, buying bitcoin is speculating. Investing means building apps on top of bitcoin or injecting capital into bitcoin startups.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dead! on: September 23, 2022, 11:30:03 AM
No, it is not. Bitcoin is just going through its winter. When it will start bouncing back to new heights, traders will regret selling off their bitcoins. I think it's the best time to stock up some bitcoins in your portfolio and rejoice later.
through its winter Huh I am still waiting for a bear market... Bitcoin price was 10k not more than two years ago
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next better altcoin? on: September 23, 2022, 11:24:08 AM
At present many new tokens added coinmarketcap. How I find a good and valuable token. I am afraid to buy a new token to see my family background. Can I continue trading or stop immediately or find a better altcoin. Please give me a suggestion. I want to earn more money for a better future.
Looks like Ripple is making a comeback. What contributed to the recent rise of Ripple?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you still get rich with crypto? on: June 25, 2018, 01:38:29 PM
being rich in crypto means being able to spend your crypto anywhere in the world without fiat conversion
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling in the crypto market on: June 25, 2018, 01:33:03 PM
Cryptocurrencies should be the golden choice or heaven for gamblers to gamble, as it provides anonymity and security as well.
From the dawn of cryptocurrencies the gambling has become more interesting and now more people are now getting into digital gambling than ever before.
This shows a bright future of gambling in cryptocurrencies market.

agree but anonymity has to be improved

10  Economy / Speculation / Re: 57 bitcoin... will I have 6-figures in my bank acct by end of 2016? on: December 15, 2015, 11:43:46 PM
If not fuck this shit, I'm out
At what price did you buy 57 BTC? If you got them below today's price, be patient, there is no rush!

In various prices since 2013.... I actually lost 12 BTC but I managed to improve my cost avg throughout the bear market.

I spent $33,000 total.... so my cost avg is $580/btc... still in the red bro
ah ok, you are not that much in the red! If you don't need money just hold them. IMO Bitcoin is digital money, money of the internet, it's new, never existed before and I think it can go viral, same way internet products go viral (youtube videos, soundcloud music, .... I am sure the price can reach $1000 dollars soon and crash again, so I would suggest you to place a market order between 900-1000$ if you don't want to miss the opportunity to sell your stash.
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it profitable to run a dice gambling site? on: December 15, 2015, 11:27:02 PM
I wonder if it's profitable to run a dice gambling site (like dicecoin.io) ? I'm seeing that site has 30,000 BTC wagered in 2 years.. Huge amount.

Certainly it's not easy to operate, promote and maintain by one person but I can absolutely code a site. Is it worth to start?

Have a good night Smiley
It's profitable if players trust your gambling site, otherwise they won't deposit, or just play with the faucet.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: December 15, 2015, 11:23:19 PM
probably flash crashes are gonna happen!
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would happen if a group/person bought all the bitcoin in circulation. on: December 15, 2015, 11:19:44 PM
it's not possible to corner the bitcoin market because all the coins are not created yet.

Diggit is a fun game but the chat really sucks.. You have to speak Russian to participate! Cheesy
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Officially a Commodity in the U.S. on: September 18, 2015, 11:02:35 PM
Commodity? Well, why not.
For me Bitcoin is a hedge against the possibility of inflation in the future
17  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor vs. paper wallets. on: August 28, 2015, 11:30:07 AM
if you compared trezor vs paper wallet i will choose paper wallet
im not have more money to save at Trezor

but if i have 50-100btc i will choose trezor

you can still split 50-100btc in several paper wallets
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hell are people still selling at these prices? on: August 25, 2015, 05:20:30 PM
Why they are still selling a these prices? Good question.. Perhaps most of them bought BTC when it was between $800-$1000 and they prefer to sell before it's too late.
IMO, the post-BTC-bubble decline is not completely over. We are still currently well above the pre-bubble prices : ~$100.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why i think Bitcoin will ultimately change or fail: Speed of evolution on: August 24, 2015, 04:01:17 PM
One thing about bitcoin i think a lot is this: Its amazing how far bitcoin has come, but how you want to build a payment system for the entire world with maybe 15 Programmers working fulltime on it?

IMO, more developers = greater difficulties reaching a consensus

 Undecided
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: August 23, 2015, 01:55:45 PM
I think 10000$ is possible in 2020. I think bitcoin will be replaced by some better system for payments, but will stay a valuable asset the digital gold

I agree with that.

Sorry I don't get it: what kind of better system for payments?
