21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM OR RIPPLE? on: September 04, 2018, 05:07:59 PM
I believe that these are currencies that target totally different markets, ripple tries to make the transactions more convenient between users and banks and ETH serves as an application development platform, now if we talk about it financially, I believe that ripple is better for the long term, but ETH is better for making weekly trades.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: September 03, 2018, 11:07:34 PM
I think most people believe that that's why it's always in second place moving in volume and price after bitcoin, not only is it a good currency for its speculative value, it also provides an excellent platform to develop applications and smart contracts.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: September 02, 2018, 09:02:14 PM
In the end I think bounty hunters invest their time, as there are some campaigns that can take quite a bit of time, and to make a quality post you have to spend several minutes thinking about the topic and make comments that contribute to the discussion, so we won't waste money but our time is just as valuable.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the cryptocurrency market? on: September 02, 2018, 07:46:22 PM
Just because I'm here for more than just money, I trust the technology and what's coming in the future, so I don't worry too much about the dips in the market, they're just more opportunities to buy the coins I've always wanted at a good price.
25  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: September 01, 2018, 11:39:55 PM
Despite this bear market, ICOs are still a pretty solid investment if you want to make money fast, it's practically a bet thro, you put x amount of money in Y project and if they succeed and go to an exchange you can generate Z profit with the launch price. So do it at your own risk but for me is worth it.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Negative Mind Will Never Give You A Positive Life on: September 01, 2018, 10:53:50 PM
Of course, especially lately, I've seen a horde of negativism that is impacting the market, we know we are in a bear market, so I don't know what the intention is to spread the FUD anymore, maybe is so people can sell down the price and the whales buy cheap, that only damages the market and is not healthy for a long term investment
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose between these 6 cryptocurrencys, What's your pick? on: August 31, 2018, 07:08:25 PM
I think verge could solve the problem that bitcoin has with the public ledger and ip leakage, especially verge promises large-scale transactions and says they are ready for mass adoption, which we do not know with bitcoin, despite having the lighting network already operational, when they start again the large volumes so can start the problems again.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: August 29, 2018, 11:04:30 PM
I don't know if it will be ripple, but the coin will leave the fundamentals for other currencies to finish the job, ripple still has a long way to go, but they don't lack ambition, you just have to look at all the business they are doing with the banks lately to understand what their position will be on the market.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ready to bounce back? on: August 29, 2018, 10:12:40 PM
Although I would very much like ETH to recover, I would prefer it to do so slowly, of course, it will surely succeed, but I want to be sure that it does not burst the bubble again, ETH has enormous potential and I would not like it to have a speculative value like bitcoin, it has to have its value as an excellent platform to develop applications.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: August 28, 2018, 11:06:50 PM
Sure, but mostly in technology and what it's bringing us, the bounties I see as something additional, that I do to get extra tokens in some project that interests me, so I try first before deciding to invest, and I really believe that the cryptos are the future and are here to stay.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: August 28, 2018, 10:25:32 PM
Hodl is always good advice if you don't want to take risks, because it's a pretty safe way, personally I like to reinvest in these dips, I usually check the alts with more potential and try to invest a limited amount depending on each barrier that goes down, for example, I buy 2 ETH when it's at $250 then 2 ETH more when it goes down to $200 and so on until I'm satisfied with my investment.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: August 27, 2018, 08:36:16 PM
I would not take seriously the word of the central bank of a country with so many economic problems, it is normal that they feel afraid because at the end of the day they see cryptos as competition that will put their business at risk, even though cryptos actually have an inner risk due to the lack of regulations and anonymity, I also consider that the benefits are much greater, just look at the plus of being able to make international transfers without the need for intermediaries is enough to have the cryptos in the approval.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: August 27, 2018, 07:29:11 PM
Right now I'm using it to buy tokens from different ICOs, so I use it as an investment currency, waiting for some to explode and take me to the moon hahaha, I've also used sites like localethereum to sell them by fiat currency when an emergency comes up and I need money, the rest i hodl then to see if they get value again.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: August 25, 2018, 10:56:37 PM
Since the beginning of time when there has been money there are unscrupulous people trying to take it away from you, especially in this space where there are no clear regulations and where anonymity is so revered, this is where we have to be really cautious when choosing a good crypto, because maybe it is not a scam, but a really bad designed projects do not complete their goals, and you will lose your investment just as quickly.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC scams on: August 24, 2018, 10:15:29 PM
Of course, people don't understand this, because they usually think that these things can't happen to them, but they have to be extremely careful with their identity, since identity theft is one of the most cumbersome crimes there is, ask yourselft it's really worth exposing yourself to criminal activity just for a few tokens? personally, I don't think so.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: August 24, 2018, 09:20:01 PM
Many times it's because they don't see designs or details that they would like those coins to have and sometimes it's complicated to do that in the current state of the currency and the devs don't listen, so they go and create their own currency, I also think they want a piece of the cake, as we've seen ICOs is a very lucrative business, whether you do a scam or not, it's a pretty good business that provides good income in addition to sponsoring your idea, in the end, there are copies that are better than the original ones, and offer a little competition to the market
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO still worth investing in? on: August 22, 2018, 11:36:53 PM
Although you have to be quite aware that nothing will guarantee your success in this market, you have to take into account that NEO is one of the favorite investments in China despite the ban it has now, that ban will be lifted at some point and I believe that NEO will be at the forefront of the Chinese market, practically is a bet with the Chinese government, when they normalize their NEO crypto trade will explode quite strong and you will be rewarded.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WE MUST BELIEAVE IN CRYPTO MARKET! on: August 22, 2018, 10:28:11 PM
Preach it brother, of course, patience is what will bear us fruit, many people are desperate because they see their favorite altcoin collapse, but remember that we are all here more than anything for the technology, of course, we are investors and of course we would like to see prices rise to the clouds, but we are in a bear market and we have to change the strategy, we have to adapt to survive.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: August 20, 2018, 10:13:36 PM
I don't think so, and it shouldn't be like this, all currencies have their specific use and aim to the same problem with different solutions, that doesn't mean that one is better than the other, but the investment is limited and as everything, it will have to be a competition, there we will really see which ones survive, I will bet my money on the ones that have the most useful and the ones that have a ready platform, these are usually the ones that are better prepared in the low times.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH so popular on: August 19, 2018, 11:14:23 PM
More than the price itself, ETH had maintained itself quite well despite the bubble and the bear market, it had been a solid investment until now, in recent days has fallen dramatically, but it was time for something like this to happen, personally does not affect me much because it means more opportunities to invest, ETH is a very useful currency and a solid platform that provides many things in the real world, so I will always bet on it.
