Although I highly doubt that their are groups out there today calling themselves Illuminati, it's fairly obvious that the ideals written in their own writings, especially from 1773, exist today through many elitists. I also doubt that Bitcoin was created as part of an elitist agenda. What I WOULD be concerned about is an infiltration which is step number 1 for the powers at be to take in order to take control or shut something down. If not in the form of legislation or statutes from the bureaucracy, it would come from much more creative means that would seem very "Bitcoin friendly" at first.

I am weary of it and I do keep my eyes peeled. Bottom line is, alternative currencies are an attack on something they control and have manipulated people to and believe in it's legitimacy.

I'm not sure how that would help. I don't see how you can launch a "securities" investigation into a trade platform that trades something technically, no different then baseball cards as far as giving monetary value. Their are places you can buy/bid on baseball cards (like MtGox) and companies that give up to date monetary values on baseball cards but if a theft of baseball cards happened, how would you investigate by means of securities law?

Seems too many of you playing this out emotionally. You have to put your emotions aside to be successfully making money especially a youngster like bitcoin. Successful traders on ForEx know they can't trade based on emotion.

All of this "omg i lost money! i baught at 8usd, went up to 30usd and now it's 10usd!" is nonsense. It's very natural and i'm glad to see bitcoin following the organic laws.

The 2, or 5 day average values are higher then ever. Keep mining and keep searching for ways to make your bitcoins useful in every day trading of goods and services.
