I don't think you speculators are seeing waves for what it is.
It's the assets/gateways/DEX that are going to increase its real value. The only thing nodes will do is allow pampers to artificially inflate the price on larger exchanges. I'd rather it never hits polo, so I never get itchy fingers as Waves steadily grows into a tidal wave.

Does anyone know if theres an option to print out paper wallets for waves? Atm pretty much all of them are on bittrex so if anything was to happen to bittrex then it could be disastrous for the waves platform.
Right now the best place would still be on WAVES Lite Client. exchange is still dangerous. in the future once WAVES launches... a very good alternative (or backup if you plan to) will be EXODUS Wallet. However, as of now, it is not available... yet!Once full node + custom token/asset launches, we will need to let the 2 guys behind EXODUS wallet know about it. their wallet is going through a phase of "adding more features" and "adding more coins". so perfect timing to get WAVES added after launch. So that they can immediately set up for WAVES to integrate into their wallet. And then we can store WAVES in there and cold storage it. If we do nothing, WAVES will just end up being queued behind other cryptocurrencies, which may take months to get added. So if all of us are in this together, just simply tweet them when it launches. or you may tweet them now to let them know that "WAVES node Launch is very soon". Or you can let them know in the Slack channel too. But i think Twitter will be more effective if there's 100s of it. its easier to see/show the demand for it. Meanwhile, we can also approach Jaxx wallet to add WAVES once it launches. |

Don't forget that Waves are currently on other exchanges as well. Not just Bittrex. A chinese exchange called 'Touzibi' is already listing it. Don't think that no other chinese exchange will be adding WAVES. OHhhhh they will be adding once full node is out. Touzibi ain't gonna be the only one. You can bet all those other exchanges with their own mother tongue, when they start listing WAVES..."poloniex is small fish".  WAVES all along have also been doing translations of every WAVES blog posts since post #1. And they are being posted at various respective places on the net wherever said language is spoken. Once Full Node + Custom Tokens/Assets are out, Sasha did say he will be going out to promote the hell out of it. And with Custom Tokens/Assets, he will be able to promote LOTS: "Hey there everyone, we are WAVES....look what we got....INCENT, etc, etc, etc" You or he can't do that with only just a Full Node release, yea? "Hey there everyone, we are WAVES...look what we got...a full node. That's it folks!" |

They have like 8 full time devs working on the project right now. Why can't they hire more? The hiring at startups is always an ongoing process. Maybe Sasha doesn't have the time anymore to manage the dev-team alone and he wants to delegate this task to a full time team leader.

You're missing tons of profits. Give them a month and you will see miracles.
I own 7,000 Stratis and intend to more than triple my position over the coming weeks. It's not that I don't like the project (the idea sounds very viable), it just that I'm worried they won't meet the deadlines set forth in the roadmap. On the plus side, Nicolas has a proven record with NBitcoin, so I'm still bullish on STRAT. According to the dev Chris there should be no problems meeting the deadlines. They wanted to make sure they didnt miss any deadlines so they allowed for much longer deadlines then they needed. It has even been hinted that some of it will be released early. Of course we havent seen any of it yet but they do sound quite confident in their abilities to reach the deadlines. it was mentioned in one of the interviews (think it was with Tai Zen) that the deadlines were all exaggerated a little so that in case of future hiccups or delays, they will still be able to meet the deadlines. In other words, if lets say everything is a bed of roses with sunshine and rainbows, node may even come by End of November or before end of nov since the beta is in nov. But that's just purely an IF statement and IF everything moves like water and no obstacles or problems at all. just buy a bit more now for the 'just in case' scenario. try not to "wait for the perfect moment to fill my bags from 0% to 100%". if STRATIS is the only cryptocurrency you will ever trade, its easier to do that. But if you gonna trade/invest in 10-40 other cryptocurrencies...haha...you better have some big capital and some strategy to diversify. if you can get 10% filled, do it. price drops further, fill it by another 10% or so. Trading was and is never a bulls-eye game. unless you have really been a master at it. But even the master doesn't know when it pumps and dumps. You can't predict a filthy rich human's actions from somewhere on Earth. So the only thing the master can do is place buy/sell Orders to counter them. They do play a lot with 'Orders' |

There is something different about WINGS compared to some of the other altcoins. WINGS is already doing some of the stuff that other altcoins will only do it after ICO + after they are done developing their full nodes. |

What this full node change something? When full node is out then poloniex can add Waves. poloniex had integrate wavesplatform on there system....but they did not add waves after all ...we will wait few months for poloniex.... but for long term investors poloniex is not the issue ...we need a solid platform and big fundraiser projects .... nvm polo. when all the big chinese and japanese exchanges add WAVES, polo simply doesn't want to miss out the action! We know that to be true! |
