this seems very clever if possible for a machine to recognise irrelevant posts which contain specific words. What do you think to add something like a Twitter timeline, where some of the most relevant tweets from different accounts will be shown. So people can read the most important tweets even without going to the Twitter app/platform itself.
I agree, some folks have mentioned something similar and I plan to build out a view to try out. hope you like it when it arrives! Stay Tuned!

This is interesting tool, it could be used as extra data to predict Bitcoin price movement. I also notice you have newsletter, how often do you send the news? Daily? Weekly?
Thank you! We are a small team, so the newsletter is monthly and based on updates and some key trends we see. As things progress, we may go towards a weekly setup. I notice the website have "Positive Sentiment" percentage, by any chance do you also use Machine Learning to determine the percentage?
Indeed, we use machine learning to get this score!

I'd suggest expanding the "Best Tweet" section by showing more tweets... - I do know that there are also links to 5 tweets on the "Most engaging, active, and popular" profiles but most of them are basically repetitive profiles/tweets in different orders.
interesting... I'm seeing a trend that folks really would like to expand and view more of the top tweets just like you are calling out here. I am really considering making a view for this soon! I noticed that there's also a tweet from a Turkish user under the most engaging section [you might want to only list English tweets or add a way to filter the results based on the language being used].
Indeed, I have been going back and forth between keeping non english tweets. I have kept them mainly for curiosity but may remove them if I have any issues with detecting spammy content with the language barrier. Stay tuned and I really appreciate the feedback!

It can be an interesting tool for Twitter lovers. I had thought of something similar before. How you choose which Twitter accounts are taken into this analysis? For example, most active I guess you track only Bitcoin/crypto related, do you have any database there, or you follow them by some hashtag? I mean, some spammers can be hyperactive but posting only some nonsense.
Hey in regards to your question on filtering. I have a trained machine learned data set I use to remove spammy and non relevant posts. All tweets analyzed must mention "bitcoin" or the trading symbol "BTC" hashtags to qualify for analysis. Thanks for asking!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that we launched an awesome dashboard that crunches billions of real time Twitter Data to produce a list of the most engaging bitcoin tweets and users! I wish we had it available to the general public during the Elon Musk Energy FUD cycle because it was a blast to see the big movers. Hope you all enjoy and please remember it's still an early version with more features on the way! >>> You can check out the project here at reports.bitmetrix.io <<< Its still in its early stages and is part of a larger suite of the bitmetrix.io project which focuses on sentiment analysis as it correlates to bitcoin. Looking forward to the feedback! - CSD

This is awesome! Thanks for joining the discord MikeGeno3. Just some General Updates 📈 🔥 We are about halfway through getting out the new and exciting categories for grading cryptocurrencies. We find it very interesting how Bitcoin just performs so well in our grading categories according to everything else. We think it makes sense but we are still shocked at how well rounded it is compared to other cryptocurrencies. So right now since we have scarcity, technical, longevity and social grades the additional categories we plan to implement are going to be security and adoption. Security - This will be a check against past hacks/security breaches against the cryptocurrency in question. Adoption - This is a beast to implement right now for our team but this will target blockchain address usage and wallet usage stats for a given cryptocurrency. We feel with these next category additions the overall scores will really pull out true winners for our users to track and feel confident behind. - CSD

wow, very cool website. good that I check this section of BCT every now and then, I like to find these kind of sites. I particularly like the "scarcity coin" section. this could be very profitable, if the right coin is found, that didn't moon yet. I bookmarked your site and put it on my favorietes bar. definitely will be coming back, thanks a lot for your effort
Thanks biggNY! Yeah digital scarcity is such a good statistic. We felt lots of projects trick investors into thinking that they have a digitally scarce coin when in reality they can just make more... Those projects usually dont specify their coin hard maximum supply value. We spent some time looking at these cryptocurrencies to catch that and give users a way to understand what it means to actually hold a unit of a currency and how rare it is to have it compared to other. Its pretty neat! Glad you like it

Awesome site! Its good that you guys posted it in the altcoins section, now I can defintely know when a project is ready to moon!!! I have some coins that I don't see listed maybe because they are too new. Can I post them here for your site to analyze them?
Sure any cryptocurrencies that you see that are missing please let us know. Also please note that we are currently only grading cryptocurrencies and not tokens / ICOs yet. We plan to have cryptocurrency tokens / ICOs available later before the end of the year 2018. Looking forward to those coins you mentioned - CSD

NIce project, but I have noticed that the site does not support a large amount of coins and platforms, like for example MANA or very important ones like Bancor or very new ones like Priv. I hope it will be updated soon.
Hi oo666oo, thanks for your feedback. We will check into Bancor and MANA. If you notice any other that we are missing let us know ASAP! Also we currently dont support ICO tokens yet but that will be added sometime by the end of the year. We want to grade those a little differently There are indeed too may tokens around and growing, and obviously, not all are Worth attention. One way to distinguish the worthy one is to judge by their adoption base, ie number of existing wallets/addresses. Another recent one with good user base is ETHLend. I agree, need to have a good way to not waste time looking at really bad ones. We are thinking of adding another grading category called "user adoption" which would grade based on what you mentioned above with wallet addresses and a minimum holding amount / transacting amount to prove true adoption. I will be honest this would take place with the cryptocurrencies first but once we get the tokens up this will indeed be a category for those projects as well. Also we checked up on Bancor, MANA and ETHLend and we saw that those are all token based currencies which do not own their own blockchain (they use ethereum). The projects themselves look great so that doesn't mean that since they are not rated they are bad... just they are not cryptocurrencies with their own dedicated blockchain. Before the year-end we should have tokens graded as well and the three you mentioned will be at the top of the list. Thanks for the feedback!! Follow us on twitter and join the discord to keep up with the project, it is still new so we would love to have users who can provide awesome input like you! -CSD

Awesome site, love the ratings! Looks like the development scores havent been updated for a while? When is that happening? I'm surprised how Bitcoin dominates everything here! Looking forward to the next update in scores for development
We just updated the scores last night, the algorithm got off to a slow start this week. Should be good now for normal weekly updates! thanks for checking! i would like to personally congratulate your team for beginning a wonderful site.i have come across a lot of people who are looking forwarded to this which help them.congats again
Thanks fattycoins for your feedback! This was a very tough but motivating journey. We really intend to grow more and provide even deeper analysis! Look out for our Roadmap later next week! Spread the word! Hello, bitcoin / alt-coin enthusiasts and lurkers! Just wanted to let everyone know about a new cool site / app our team developed called (CoinShakeDown) We wanted to make it easier for folks who are familiar or new to cryptocurrencies and don't want to be bogged down by price and technical analysis. If you need to do research on other categories like technical development, social pull, scarcity or longevity, here is the place! The algorithms update the scores dynamically at least once a week and sometimes daily. Some scores may be a bit harsh but that is usually because they are graded in reference to the best coin in the category so don't be too alarmed if you favorite coin has a really low score, unless it's ranked very low in a bunch of categories Sad Here is a cool steemit article written by mobi72 about it: hereAlso, we have a product hunt page open for it for direct feedback and product info: hereAll feedback is welcome and please feel free to interact with me on twitter via @coinshakedown or @coinpackets Cool Thanks!

This is pretty awesome, I wish I had this site last year... would have predicted some bust coins. How often do the technical scores get updated? Maybe there should e an indicator that shows when last updated? Also, will there ever be support for ICO / tokens? Awesome work! I like the idea... much better than reading about a new exchange, mining services or ICO Thanks for the feedback! Our upgrade process for the categories are below Development scores: once a week Social scores: once a day Longevity Scores: Anytime a new coin is added to the list or an existing one is updated Scarcity Scores: Anytime a new coin is added to the list or an existing one is updated I am planning to add an overall score soon to the scorecards and then also a graphic showing when a particular coin was last updated. This should be updated sometime this week In regards to ICO support... we are planning to support this later in the year as ICOs are a little different and we would like to have some more grading categories out to better suit them. In case we dont respond here, please join our discord chat to reach us or twitter @coinshakedown. Thanks! CoinShakeDown Discord chat & Twitter
