Oh wow, a scam accusation.

Thanks for not disappointing me, a-hole.  Grin

The finder of Block 40000 was user 'gabidennis.'

He's been paid. Here's the TX: 912b4429ab515e7e1cd293d022534ba75f5681b8f2323cb3097114e68ee78345

i'm truly sorry for being one of the few to donate to your pool or use it
your response speaks volumes i'm not going to argue all the best to you

You're not 'one of a few' people using my pool. Since you use my pool, you know I've been paying out.

I've paid out 95% of the HKC ever mined. I've ran the pool since the first day. In fact, I've paid YOU today.

So as far as I'm concerned you had no reason to take a cheap shot at me because MPOS had a cronjob that crashed while I was asleep. As soon as I woke up, I fixed the cron job, found the winner of the Block Bonus and paid him.

That was approximately $22 out of MY OWN pocket. I only did the bonus to try and promote HKC more. I've been doing that from the start. The constant trolling and accusations of scamming have worn on my patience.

yes it just happened to crash at block 39994 how nice i really don't care but i was surprised as you've been a good payer with the regular payments but your pm response shows me what kind of person i'm dealing with and if you want to take it further i don't mind posting it here.

Any coin using 'Bitcoin' in their name should not be allowed.
This is a direct attack on Bitcoin and i don't believe you have permission to use the name.

Bitcoin Scrypt
Bitcoin +

what next?

It is clearly stated in the OP that Bitcoin+ is a codename. No one owns Bitcoin per se. Mt Gox has the trademark but I think they have enough issues of their own...

Why not make a new PC and call it 'Apple+' and see how that ends up, all the best to you though.

Game Over.

I highly advise all exchanges to suspend trading.

There are now multiple forks.

I would also dump while the exchanges are still open if I were you guys.

If true it's fairly obvious you had something to do with it and only will not admit because of the legal ramifications. So what of people who invested in it, had real money inside still you must be so proud & no i wasn't one of them as i don't like most these country coins but it doesn't mean you screw people over for fun because you don't like something.

just my personnel opinion but no other crypto coin should be allowed to use the name 'bitcoin' in its name discription no matter what it has to offer unless of coarse it comes from the bitcoin devs themselves

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 27, 2014, 08:54:45 PM
a whitelist/blacklist should be managed by consensus, not one guy / exchange ( => corruption).

You're missing the point.  If it were managed by consensus, how are the extortionists running this "Operation" going to get their money?

This whole thing has NOTHING to do with cleaning up shitcoins.  It's about scamming people out of money.  Scam coin creators like the OP clear out the competition.  Pool operators get sheep to DDOS competitors.  And the extortionists collect their "registration fees."

It's not about cleaning up anything.  It's about criminals working together to expand their enterprise and conning fools into doing most of the work for them.

Don't forget to vote for us on CryptoRush too:
https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=vote

you can't be serious ? you know how much money people have lost? still can't withdraw btc because they have none. I liked the exchange but as soon as they cost me btc it would take alot of convincing to go back, lets see if it can rise again in the future but that's a long shot.

you know it's been under massive DDOS for a few days? i just managed to log in yesterday sell my crs at big loss, buy some overpriced doge and get out.
seems whoever is DDOS it are attempting to screw everyone over even more and i hope they're fully exposed.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rantings of a lunatic part two (the coin developer's guide) on: March 26, 2014, 09:57:54 PM
while some points are valid it's not what makes a real so called shit coin.
look at doge as a prime example a meme that was a complete joke that became huge and is attractive and popular to people, a good introduction to people to enter mining etc. it has a huge supportive community on top of it, and it's cloned so what ? Next will you tell me what i should eat, wear, type of music i should listen too etc.

My definition of a shit coin would be one solely made for the dev to make a huge profit, pump & dump and then run leaving it totally unsupported which usually results in total collapse and alot of angry bag holders who lost their btc investing in it. There is alot of ignorance here as you assume everyone views a shit coin in the same light.

As for Blackcoin, it's holding up pretty nicely. I haven't bought any because I'm following my old day-trading rule: "When I get interested, it's too late."  Grin

yes so true once it's been pumped and you missed that train not good to jump onboard..

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 26, 2014, 09:31:08 PM
There are so many coins that are produced without their dev(s) understanding the interaction of parameters or having awareness of the security risks.
This is even more unfortunate when the dev team has basically good intentions, but they inadvertently produce a high-risk coin, that can be taken down by some kid with graphics cards.

And here's an unintended consequence: exchanges that take in new coins no questions asked are really suffering for it. Look at what's happening to CryptoRush (start here and read this.) Another second-tier exchange foundering because they've incurred huge losses by a new alt going ker-blooey.

Cryptsy really has a great niche in all of this. It's the top alt exchange, so any alt that gets listed on Crypsty has "hit the big time!" Cryptsy doesn't have that cachet unless they sit back and take their time when deciding whether or not to list a new alt: taking it slow only adds to their prestige. You might say that playing hard to get is Cryptsy's "game." So, the second-tier exchanges that'll list any crapcoin ends up acting as Cryptsy's field-test lab. When a new alt goes haywire, it gets injured and Crypsty remains above it all.

Were I to start a new exchange, I'd actually use the OP's filter when deciding which coins to list and not to list. I'd do so simply to protect myself and the customers.

Funny that it was Blackcoin that pushed CryptoRush over the edge...

CryptoRush downfall was having poor coding allowing it to be hacked in the past (if true) and all the losses that happened with blackcoin because of the way their wallets works or whatever happened also the fact that users transferred huge amount of coins that didn't belong to them screwed them, their communication skills topped cryptsy by a long shot and cryptsy has had some huge issues in the past i know i use it also. Another thing the OP and many in this thread who act to be against so called shit coins have their own shit coins, maybe they've corned the new coin market and losing business due to too many new coins so they figured a way to try narrow the market. To my knowledge all coins still exist, haven't been damaged but cryptorush incurred massive DDOS attacks for the last few days. Such revolution...

So did everyone just dump CRS shares down to 200 satoshi and someone accidentally became the CEO?

go figure it's all abit strange i know the 1st thing i did was dump my crs and then buy some doge and bail
