How will Florin be different from the disaster that is Gulden? You have the same team that couldn't get exchange listings or proper marketing done in 8 years. Blockhut is a shit service that only offers the ability for Rijk to sell the Gulden dev reward. Please enlighten me, I am all ears.

Any reason the Gulden youtube channel has been dead for 6 months?
It's not only the youtube channel which is dead. It's the whole project which is dead Honnestly why someone wants to invest in this dinosaure coin , which has nothing funny , useful , or trendy ? Just randomly pîck-up another coin , at least it will move up or down , but it will move ... Not a flat line like the gulden. 5 years ago I was told Gulden is a long term investment, 5 years later it's still a long term investment. Can we get a medium term investment outlook in 10 years time? |

You can't compare someone like Rijk who has a full time job to other founders who can work on their projects full time. Bitvavo listing will change the course for Gulden and with a higher stable price Rijk can quit his job and put effort into Gulden.
Bitvavo have decided not to add Gulden at this time. My conclusion is that businesses in the Netherlands have no interest in adding Gulden until Gulden is already a success. Malcolm has created a lot of tech that is going to waste in the Netherlands and I am sad to say this but Gulden should go international and start with the asian markets who will appreciate witnessing and cpu mining far more then my Dutch counterparts will. After 7 years of Dutch citizens not embracing Gulden... well they can't complain if they miss out. Really fuck them if they complain when the price is high and other countries citizens own more Gulden, they had more then enough time. Bookmark this post for future complainers. Does all the funding go to the dev trough? Well played devs well played... I will paste my nlg address for a refund. Without the reward change and this news the devs would of quit due to lack of funding. The reward change saved this coin from a rank > 2500 on cmc. It was ranking > 1600 before the reward change announcement. Don't worry in another 8 years it will get better, keep the faith. |

I also have the same issue updating over wifi, when I used ethernet cable from router the sync was quick.
I only have wireless option and I am syncing for 5 days and @75% complete. Download the fast receive and send wallet if you not going to witness or mine. It syncs quick and good for storing coins. The new version 2.44 has solved my sync problem, last 15% was done under 10 minutes. |

My 1 friend who purchased late last month is willing to buy over 1 million coins at 1c. Gulden will get some support at this price, also planning to buy more  So bad so so bad!!! We almost purchased more when the price went below 2c. Please whales dump one more time before the reward changes. Give a couple brothers a chance to get in low. You could get lucky with bitcoin prices collapsing and using fiat to buy at $1-2c Given the changes to the rewards, we will start picking up between €1.5-2.5c. Looking to buy in myself at the 60-70 sat range, end of July is still 6 million coins that could flood bittrex, so the price has to plummet before the first halving. |

Rumour going around that Rijk is getting family, friends and new investors into Gulden by fabricating leaving bittrex, the inner circle is laughing knowing that he is not going to force Gulden to leave bittrex.
Now they collecting coins cheap. Then they will say we not removing from bittrex.
That was a scenario i also thought of but then he is really playing bluf poker too let it drop too 3,5 eurocent. Would be real classy. But i guess with Rijk you never know .... Malcolm also pushing a lot of updates for Gulden , 2.0.0.11 is released. I don't know but they working hard despite the price destruction. |

It is clear, Rijk Plasman wants to get away from Bittrex as witnessed by this statement, made in the uncensord Guldencommunity Slack channel.
"Yes, my plan is absolutely go away from Bittrex, I think I've been clear about that too. I am now in the process of finding a solution for people outside the EU, and that will not be too long. After that, it is arranged in a minute."
And on the question "why a poll if you already want to go from Bittrex", Rijk said there:
"I wanted to get a picture of the counter-arguments. The only counter argument I take seriously is 'I really cannot buy or sell without bittrex', so Gulden lovers outside the EU. Even though there are very few of them, I do arrange something for them. The rest is all standard limited crypto thinking "buy the Chinese, whales, mcafee", which is nonsense. I've never listened to that before and it's a mystery to me what those people still do at Gulden.
So let me remind you again:It looks to be a casual poll to see what the community thinks about the btc pairing. BTC pairings aren't going anywhere because you can't have them removed, the poll highlights to the community why the Gulden price is going down and that is because btc price is going down.
Nothing Rijk does is casual, there's always a plan that HAS to be carried out. This poll is simply a ramp-up to a decision he already made.
He want's to detach from BTC all together. Been saying that for years already. I already informed you guys that he and his "holmaat" Roel (Nocks) need total control and they need it fast (taxes). So if BTC pairings are dropped, who controls the entire market? Right Nocks (Roel and Rijk).
Even the master fanboy Remco (KrakenXiv) Katz agrees with me on this:  I think we are going to lose the BTC pairing on Bittrex. Rijk and his associates have made up their mind, and are now trying to brainwash the masses. They openly blame Bitcoin for the pricedrop on their official Facebook page.
Can we make a statement about not wanting to leave Bittrex by putting massive walls on either exchange?
From facebook Why don't I answer that? For two reasons. Guilder is a decentralised project, there is no boss, no admin, no institute that determines the price. They do not market anything but they post things on Facebook where the most people voted against on Slack but no you are not the boss  Malcolm and a lot of others were against but no lets post it on Facebook to create some more disturbance on the marketBecause of talking of that delisting maybe a lot of people dump in advance. I know when a coins get delisted i almost alway sell all my coins because i do not want to have an account on every exchange there is. If Gulden gets delisted and a lot of whales/big investors starts dumping Gulden then it will go down hard. If there is another 25 Million Gulden dumped on the market the price will go to ..... And then he goes on and explains into exact detail why he thinks BTC and Bittrex are the reason for low prices. When oh when are people in here finally going to grasp the reality behind Rijk's true motivations? I have seen the signs over four years ago already! The only reason only a few people outside the Netherlands (EU) are involved in Gulden is not Bittrex, it's the fact they just never heard of it. Why? M A R K E T I N G !!!! <-- The lack of that!!The dumping on bittrex is harsh atm. It won't be long before Nocks pulls far ahead. |

I hate to admit it but Rijks argument is looking good, bittrex price is much lower then Nocks and holding Gulden into the dirt because traders are following what bitcoin is doing. Traders on bittrex hold Gulden but don't know how good Gulden is where traders on Nocks do know how good Gulden is. Next Poll I will change my vote to have btc pairings removed unless bittrex can keep up with Nocks but with all those sell orders I don't see it as possible.

This is the first time I have seen Nocks have a higher value then bittrex, if Rijk wants the btc connection removed Nocks needs to remain higher then bittrex 100% of the time for at least a week. This will prove to most people and traders that bitcoin is the reason Gulden is held back and I will vote with Rijk to only have fiat pairings.

You can keep posting screenshots and leave out the comment where Remco says he is up for it once Nocks has usd/gbp pairing...
I would be fine with that but if the btc pairing were removed I would have no use for my Gulden. Are they serious about removing it? One of the team or main community members Jason ? said it was a poll to discuss people's views on it. Malcolm the main dev voted strongly against removing the btc pairing. We can relax now, it was the way the poll was worded that made it sound if it was a serious consideration. |

The anti marketing rhetoric from the Gulden team must come to an end, to have coins like namecoin above it in marketcap who have stopped development but still have a community willing to market it shows that the negative sentiment from a good team can have disastrous results on it's potential.

Initially this is what I thought but he doesn't want the gulden team to do the marketing. He could use a PR person to filter his responses or do the responses to these questions for him. A lot of good leaders have used a PR person when they have zero people skills. i dont think he needs a PR person to filter his responses, i think his responses are straight forward and crystal clear. i rather read someones unfiltered responses, just like this one yesterday: "What exactly is meant by ‘marketing’? Is that me making a gmail account and announcing a partnership with Google? Or walking into a random office building in Hong Kong and making a selfie with 20 Chinese people saying that’s the team. Or should I announce our latest hyperultrachain which runs on liquid digitalized meteorite from Mars. Besides that I can ofcourse pay a few anonymous exchanges some BTC to add us, but take the premium package that includes fake volume. Together with the Indian review and troll farm we can have thousands of posts on several crypto fora in no time. Together with 50k twitter followers. Let’s not stop there and add a few tokens to the chain, a few forks and introduce Guldengold and Guldenplatinum. I will start doing all of this when I finish writing my innovationpaper." eg. It seems that you bad boys missed out on Rijk answering honest criticism and doubts(?) about the Gulden project. Note: these people were honest people, interested in the way Gulden works. They did not involve other cryptocurrencies as a comparison.
He also joined the Telegram channels for Gulden to see what 'we' are talking about, and also answering questions there.
I am very glad Rijk opened his books to topics also discussed on this forum. Gulden is the most reliable project in the scene.

Will Nocks be adding USD? Price is always lower then bittrex when I have looked and I would rather get the coins as cheap as possible.
You must sign up to slack and ask @Rijk to get USD pairing for Gulden. Go into #marketing and type @Rijk with your question and explain that you want a USD pairing for Gulden. Rijk is the Gulden bot that adds each idea to a central location which the community can look at later. You also receive 10NLG for any marketing strategies you want the devs to work on. LOL OMG, I haven't laughed like this in a long long time. Post of the year for me.lol |
