Someone posted this in BBR thread about contracts in cryptonote protocol : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B75gaqtEgDR8UHU2UVJ6TkYzMnRkdFFsbklBd3hVMDV1eDQw/view?pli=1
I think someone of the dev team should try to contact this guy, and maybe works with the BBR dev with this guy

Single 280X card is stable at around 7mh/s.

Raped by super fast miner + the pools(nonce-pool already there, suprnova is on the way),SPR is quite likely to die at the infant bed.

Where I can download 7 MH/s SpreadX11 miner for 280x?

Don't be stupid.

Dev has spent so much time and energy on it. Do you think they will share it for free ?  Grin

And do you think the miner buyers are not going to dump spr for the btc they spent ?

So ,the rich get richer.

calm down,no complaint,if you happen to be the poor.  Grin

How do you know there is a miner with 7mh/s for a 280X? Do you have proof?
From various posts, I guess there is a private miner by wolf0 about  3-4mh/s for a R9 290X, a private miner for nvidia which gives about 5mh/s for a GTX970 instead of 4mh/s for the public one.
Never heard of a 8Mh/s.

Private miners exists for almost all algos :
http://da-data.blogspot.fr/2014/08/minting-money-with-monero-and-cpu.html

There was better private miners for almost all algos : after a while, people finish to know about them, and after sometime, they leaks and became public.

At present,AFAIK there are at least 3 optimized miners in the market. Wolf0 version is the earliest but the slowest , compared with the other 2.

How do you know about them ? do you have some beginning of proof?

If you guys can post what GPU cards you have along with the hashrates you get when mining SPR in this thread over on spreadcointalk.org that'd be great. :-) http://spreadcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83.0
With my R9 290X I had about 2.5mh/s : about one block per day before diff arose above 50
With a GTX 970 : stock : about 3.6mh/s, with overclock gpu@1500 : 4mh/s.: about one block per day : probably a little more
With 2 GTX 970 @1450mhz : 3.9mh/s X2= 7.8 mh/s : just beginning.

With an amd card, you need to take care of the version of the drivers : some miner works best with 13.12, others 14.6 and some 14.9 or 14.12 : painfull!!! (for instance claymore miner for monero does not work with 14.12 version!)
with nvidia : last drivers seems to works best most of the time for mining : almost too easy!

Nobody is deliberately misinterpreting,I just upload a screenshot.IT'S YOU WHO DELIBERATELY MISINTERPRET.

No? Let me remind you and everyone else trying to follow, that the subject of your screenshot is this, the "nonce pool..." That simply isn't a "pool" in the context of "pools" as they are regarded by the majority of us here and referenced in my previous post.

Let me highlight a couple of pertinent points for you straight from the owner of the "communal wallet" that they are solo mining to...

"It's merely a pool server we setup to solo mine to nothing more"
"Is it a risk? Of course it is."

"Mr. Spread has done quite a good job at keeping this coin a solo mineable,"

Is there any other way to make this any clearer for you?

I can "solo" mine this coin with a single graphic card (about 1 block / day) : so the anti pool system works Ok till now from a miner point of view.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spreadcoin Scam alert!!! on: February 06, 2015, 02:26:17 PM
I have 3 CPU's and a couple of GPU's mining to a single wallet, but I never considered myself a pool until this week!!! Boy do I feel all special and shit now!  Grin

LOL! Since I'm now a pool, can someone please tell me how to start collecting my pool fees?!?!
I have mined with a R9 290X and now with a GTX 970 with the public miners, and I found one or two block per day.
There are very few 6 months old coins with profitable mining you can solo mine.

For me this means the "no pool" feature works pretty well till now.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt profitable minting (mining). $26 - some electric cost PER DAY!! on: February 05, 2015, 02:21:00 PM
I know its highly unprofitable right now. Which makes me mad because the diff rose sky high after I spend 12 hours configuring my rigs and downloading all the wallets and miners and getting everything set up.

Diff isn't even just high, it's stupid high - this doesn't make sense... unless people are just reading the earlier posts and blindly mining without checking...

If I understood correctly, difficulty is deduced from the amount of money already minted : even with 1 small miner it won't decrease.
Maybe I am wrong.
I think Ms coins will have to fix their difficulty adjutement.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt profitable minting (mining). $26 - some electric cost PER DAY!! on: February 04, 2015, 09:06:37 PM
@current diff, 26$ can make R9 280x card in a month, electricity not included.

Wrong, with current diff you can make barely 60$ in a month with SIX 280x cards at 220 MH/s each one. If you are in a good variance run, good for you, but that's not real.

My calculations are based on previous 2-3 days,  but as diff is rising, today stats are different, very much.
Your expectation is more realistic today. So I may say for today, you are right. Tomorrow will might be even worse.

Edit: My stats for today are: R9 280x makes 0.002 BTC/day - electricity cost.
It is 0,44$ per day - let's say price for electricity is 0,1$/kw = 24*150w=3,6kw*0,1=0,36$
Payoff is less than 0,08$ per day. Really bad.

That guy makng 26$ per day now must have 325 R9 280X cards running Sad phewwww....
Yes difficulty has doubled every day since 3 days.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 970 or AMD R9 290x ? on: February 04, 2015, 09:04:17 PM
GTX 980 if possible.
Either way, you ain't going to make much with one GPU, go with four or five and make a few cents.

Make a few cents if power is free.  GPU mining is just a hobby these days unless you can overcome power costs.

2x GTX 960 will produce more hash than GTX 970 Huh
But more expensive. I would take 2 GTX 970

lol what advise is this, 2 970 are even more expensive

1 970 to start mining is enough imho, 980 is also bad in compariso as it cost to much for a little gain over a 970, and in gaming also , not worth it at all

What I meant : two 960 have not a better perf/price than GTX 970 (especially in europe where GTX 960 > 200 euros, and we can find some GTX 970 at 300 euros (but price is increasing due to $/euro fx rate).
Yes begining with a GTX 970 is probably the most reasonable idea. You can add once later on.

351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: what coin is the most suitable to mine with a GPU ? on: February 03, 2015, 03:31:11 PM
i don't have detail but it maybe a AMD 55xx HD with 2gb vram i used it to gaming
A slow card with a lot of ram is good for mining ultracoin (using yacminer).

What is going on here.
Many new created accounts to spread "FUD"  to SPREAD : probably people from rivals coins or who try to press down the price for trading reasons.
You don't see  so many new created account to warn you where there is real scam.

For me this is one of the signs which show this coin has real potential : I have bought some and mine from time time.

its first significant pump! after this it will crash really low and stay forever, thats like all altcoins pretty much lol
Some good altcoin can have more than one pump. And very good ones can survive ...

gtx 970, better performance and less consumption
depends what you are mining ...
But in general GTX970 will be less power hungry and less noisy.
The cuda mining dev seems more active than amd opencl miners dev now,  and open source their code.

For instance for XMR a R9 290x has better performance than GTX970 whereas for spreadcoin GTX 970 is better (with open source miners).

Okay thanks, looks like i just need to increase my hash.
Is GTX980 king of the hill, or does R9 290X also offer great results?

I've mined 4 blocks in the first day with 1xGtx980 @ 5.2mhash and then added -x 32 flag to the miner, hashrate went up to 5.4mhash but since then no accepted shares (for like 1 day now)... could it be that the flag causes rejects? how can i check in the nvidia miner? thanks for help

Can someone please assist with the above? Is there any way to see if all is going well?

Here's image with the miner and wallet

Looks like you are still doing fine. You can go hours or even a day without finding a block with your hash rate. Remember luck plays a part in finding blocks.

Also don't know what part of the world you are in but in my time zone you have not been 24 hrs yet since your last block.
GTX 980 is the king ( I have a R9 290X and I have about 2.5 mh/s) -except maybe with private kernel : but it seems even with private ones the GTX980 is better for this coin.

358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: January 27, 2015, 11:39:12 AM
Here is a screenshot of almost 18hrs of mining...

Your hash rate is very low : 3.4 kh/s and not 3.4 mh/s : what is your graphic card ?
At this rate, you will take an eternity to find a block.
Try others settings.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: January 27, 2015, 11:11:57 AM
I've mined for ages at 3.4mh/s and still nothing, yet the only way is to solo mine Huh
With this hash rate, you should find a block in about a pair of day on average : how long did you mine ? If you have mined more than one week, maybe you have a problem : did you have some rejected block (see in the A and R field in the miner window).

Sure.  I'll extend for 3 more days.
Hello,
I don' know if it is still valid : but I found my first one this night (it tooks a long time!) :

I need to add my spc adress later (I am at work and I don't know if sending to the same adress as the block mined works)
Mining right now with the lower difficulty and I even bought some with the last day dumping.
